저 비트율 장면 전환 영상에 대한 향상된 H.264 프레임 단위 데이터율 제어 알고리즘 (Frame-Layer H.264 Rate Control for Scene-Change Video at Low Bit Rate)

  • 급 장면 전환된 영상 프레임은 이전 프레임들과의 상관관계가 거의 없다. 이러한 경우에 인터 코딩 (inter coding) 보다는 인트라 코딩이 (intra coding) 영상 왜곡이 작으므로 프레임 내 거의 모든 매크로블럭이 인트라코딩을 수행한다. 이는 기존의 데이터율 제어의 흐림을 깨뜨리고 코딩에 필요한 비트수를 증가시킨다. H.264 참조 소프트웨어는 장면 전환을 고려치 않았기 때문에 이차 율-왜곡 모델을 사용하여 이러한 문제를 해결하려는 여러 연구가 있었다. 하지만 이차 율-왜곡 모델은 인터 코딩에 적합하게 설계되어 급장면 전환된 인트라 프레임의 양자화 파라미터를 (quantization parameter) 계산하기에는 적절치 않다. 이 논문에서는 급장면 전환시 인트라 코딩의 특징을 고려한 데이터율 제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 범용적으로 많이 사용하는 16개의 테스트 영상에서 검증하였으며, 기존 H.264 알고리즘 대비 PSNR 측면에서는 평균 0.4-0.6 dB, 최대 1.1-1.6 dB 향상되었으며, 프레임에 따른 PSNR 변화 측면에서는 평균 18.6 % 향상되었다.

품질경영의 활동요인과 경영성과와의 관련성에 관한 연구 - 건설업을 중심으로 - (A Affect on Quality Management Factors and Performance - Focus on Construction Industry -)

  • Purpose of this study is to empirically consider relation between QM activity factor and management result. For this, following 6 major variables of QM activity were established as independent variable; CEO's leadership, communication, process control, standardization, full participation and education/training while satisfaction of members and improvement of quality were established as dependent variable. And, a model was set up and hypothesis verification was conducted on the basis of data collected through questionnaires. The results are summarized as follows; First, QM factors which influenced satisfaction of members in management result were CEO's leadership, communication, process control, full participation and education/training but 'standardization' factor was not statistically significant. Second, QM factors which influenced improvement of quality in management result were CEO's leadership, communication, standardization, full participation and education/training but 'process control' factor was not statistically significant. Third, among main factors of QM activity, the factor which preferentially influenced satisfaction of members was 'full participation' factor while the factor which preferentially influenced improvement of quality was 'standardization' factor. According to such results, it is required to seek a statistical method regarding QM activity with focus on the factor of 'full participation' and 'standardization' among other things for the purpose of satisfaction of members as well as improvement of quality. It is believed that implication of this study can be useful information to realize management result considering main factors of QM activity and that it also can be basic reference data to seek a statistical method for satisfaction of members and improvement of quality by grasping core factors having influence over QM activity.

GEOMETRY OF SATELLITE IMAGES - CALIBRATION AND MATHEMATICAL MODELS

  • Satellite cameras are calibrated before launch in detail and in general, but it cannot be guaranteed that the geometry is not changing during launch and caused by thermal influence of the sun in the orbit. Modem satellite imaging systems are based on CCD-line sensors. Because of the required high sampling rate the length of used CCD-lines is limited. For reaching a sufficient swath width, some CCD-lines are combined to a longer virtual CCD-line. The images generated by the individual CCD-lines do overlap slightly and so they can be shifted in x- and y-direction in relation to a chosen reference image just based on tie points. For the alignment and difference in scale, control points are required. The resulting virtual image has only negligible errors in areas with very large difference in height caused by the difference in the location of the projection centers. Color images can be related to the joint panchromatic scenes just based on tie points. Pan-sharpened images may show only small color shifts in very mountainous areas and for moving objects. The direct sensor orientation has to be calibrated based on control points. Discrepancies in horizontal shift can only be separated from attitude discrepancies with a good three-dimensional control point distribution. For such a calibration a program based on geometric reconstruction of the sensor orientation is required. The approximations by 3D-affine transformation or direct linear transformation (DL n cannot be used. These methods do have also disadvantages for standard sensor orientation. The image orientation by geometric reconstruction can be improved by self calibration with additional parameters for the analysis and compensation of remaining systematic effects for example caused by a not linear CCD-line. The determined sensor geometry can be used for the generation? of rational polynomial coefficients, describing the sensor geometry by relations of polynomials of the ground coordinates X, Y and Z.

청소년 소음성 난청 예방교육의 효과 (The Effects of Education on the Prevention of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss in Adolescence)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of health education based on the health belief model (HBM) to the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) in middle school students. Methods: A pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group was designed for the purpose of this study. A total of 212 students (134 in the experimental group and 78 in the control group) of two middle schools in Seoul were enrolled for the study. Health education of two 45-minutes sessions over two weeks were provided. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, t-test, ANCOVA and repeated measures ANOVA with Bonferroni post-hoc test, using the SPSS version 21.0. Results: There were significant differences between experimental group and control group with reference to perceived susceptibility (F=7.862, p=.006), perceived severity (F=8.291, p=.004), perceived benefits (F=20.311, p<.001), and perceived barriers (F=5.628, p=.019) after health education were provided. We also observed sustained health education effects of perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, and perceived barriers in the experimental group for up to 4 weeks after health education were provided. Conclusion: The health education to prevent NIHL based on the HBM improved the health beliefs of the middle school students. Health education on the HBM for the prevention of NIHL should be provided at the level of middle school.

ATM 네트워크에서 ABR 서비스의 셀 지연 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study of Cell delay for ABR service in ATM network)

  • ATM 네트워크의 목적은 다양한 네트워크의 접속을 지원하는 것이다. ATM 네트워크에서는 트래픽 제어 방식으로 ACR(Allowed Cell Rate)의 변화를 이용하여 링크 대역폭의 이용률을 증대시키는 트래픽 제어 방식인 EPRCA(Enhanced Proportional Rate Control Algorithm) 스위치를 이용한 ABR(Available Bit Rate) 서비스 방법을 사용한다. 그러나 ABR 서비스에서는 서로 다른 RTT(Round Trip Times) 접속에 따른 서로 다른 처리 방법을 사용한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 처리방법에 따른 불공정성을 개선하기 위해 ABR 셀 지연 방법을 사용한다. 본 연구의 셀 지연방법에서는 3가지 셀 지연 참조 매개변수가 정의되어 있으며 RM(Resource Mana-gement) 셀 메시지에 반영된다. 제안한 방식의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 ABR 지연방법과 ABR RMM(Relative Rate Marking) 방법 사이에서 각각의 TCP 접속의 공정성을 비교한다. 그리고 병목 링크 대역폭을 공유하는 서로 다른 RTT를 갖는 6개의 TCP 접속과 백그라운드 트래픽을 갖는 간단한 ATM 네트워크 모델을 사용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. TCP 효율에 기반 한 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 ABR 셀 지연 방식이 TCP 접속 사이에서 공정성을 개선한다는 것을 알 수 있다.

Citrus Fruits Intake and Prostate Cancer Risk: A Quantitative Systematic Review

  • Objectives : The purpose of this systematic review was to investigate the association between dietary intake of citrus fruits and prostate cancer risk. Methods : Authors searched electronic databases and the reference lists of publications of diet and prostate cancer studies until August 2007. All of the epidemiological studies that obtained individual data on dietary intake of citrus fruits and presented risk estimates of the association between intake of citrus fruits and risk of prostate cancer were identified and included. Using general variance-based methods, study-specific odds ratios (OR)/ relative risk (RR) and associated confidence interval (CI)/ standard error (SE) for highest versus lowest intake of citrus fruits level were extracted from each paper. Results : Eleven articles including six case-control studies, one nested case-control study and four cohort studies, proved eligible. Overall summary OR using random effect model did not show an association in risk of prostate caner with intake of citrus fruits (summary OR=1.03, 95% CI=0.89-1.19) with large heterogeneity across studies that we were unable to explain ($I^2$=67.88%). The summary ORs in case-control studies and cohort studies were 1.10 (95% CI=0.97-1.22) and 1.05 (95% CI=0.96-1.14), respectively. Conclusions : Pooled results from observational studies did not show an association between intake of citrus fruits and the risk of prostate cancer, although results vary substantially across studies.

얼굴 모션 추정과 표정 복제에 의한 3차원 얼굴 애니메이션 (3D Facial Animation with Head Motion Estimation and Facial Expression Cloning)

  • 본 논문에서는 강건한 얼굴 포즈 추정과 실시간 표정제어가 가능한 비전 기반 3차원 얼굴 모델의 자동 표정 생성 방법 및 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 비전 기반 3차원 얼굴 애니메이션에 관한 연구는 얼굴의 움직임을 나타내는 모션 추정을 반영하지 못하고 얼굴 표정 생성에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 그러나, 얼굴 포즈를 정확히 추정하여 반영하는 작업은 현실감 있는 얼굴 애니메이션을 위해서 중요한 이슈로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구 에서는 얼굴 포즈추정과 얼굴 표정제어가 동시에 가능한 통합 애니메이션 시스템을 제안 하였다. 제안된 얼굴 모델의 표정 생성 시스템은 크게 얼굴 검출, 얼굴 모션 추정, 표정 제어로 구성되어 있다. 얼굴 검출은 비모수적 HT 컬러 모델과 템플릿 매칭을 통해 수행된다. 검출된 얼굴 영역으로부터 얼굴 모션 추정과 얼굴 표정 제어를 수행한다. 얼굴 모션 추정을 위하여 3차원 실린더 모델을 검출된 얼굴 영역에 투영하고 광류(optical flow) 알고리즘을 이용하여 얼굴의 모션을 추정하며 추정된 결과를 3차원 얼굴 모델에 적용한다. 얼굴 모델의 표정을 생성하기 위해 특징점 기반의 얼굴 모델 표정 생성 방법을 적용한다. 얼굴의 구조적 정보와 템플릿 매칭을 이용하여 주요 얼굴 특징점을 검출하며 광류 알고리즘에 의하여 특징점을 추적한다. 추적된 특징점의 위치는 얼굴의 모션 정보와 표정 정보의 조합으로 이루어져있기 때문에 기하학적 변환을 이용하여 얼굴의 방향이 정면이었을 경우의 특징점의 변위인 애니메이션 매개변수(parameters)를 계산한다. 결국 얼굴 표정 복제는 두 개의 정합과정을 통해 수행된다. 애니메이션 매개변수 3차원 얼굴 모델의 주요 특징점(제어점)의 이동은 획득된 애니메이션 매개변수를 적용하여 수행하며, 정점 주위의 부가적 정점의 위치는 RBF(Radial Basis Function) 보간법을 통해 변형한다. 실험결과 본 논문에서 제안된 비전기반 애니메이션 시스템은 비디오 영상으로부터 강건한 얼굴 포즈 추정과 얼굴의 표정변화를 잘 반영하여 현실감 있는 애니메이션을 생성함을 입증할 수 있었다.

건강증진과 삶의 질 구조모형 II-암환자 중심- (A Structural Model for Health Promotion and Quality of Life in People with Cancer)

  • It has been noted that a genetic alteration of cells influenced by unhealthy lifestyle in addition to a series of other carcinogens increases the incidence of various neoplasmic diseases. Therefore the importance of a lifestyle that minimizes such an impact on health should be emphasized. Since stomach cancer, the most common neoplasmic disease in Korea, is related to personal lifestyle and as there is a possibility of its recurrence, patients with stomach cancer need to lead a healthy lifestyle. Also the quality of life which patients experience is negatively affected by the side effects of treatments and the possibility of recurrence. Therefore an effective nursing intervention to enhance quality of life and encourage healthy lifestyle is needed. The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for nursing intervention strategies to promote health and thus enhance quality of life. A hypothetical model for this purpose was constructed based on Pender's Health Promotion Model and Becker's Health Belief Model, with the inclusion of some influential factors such as hope for quality of life and health promoting behavior. The aims of study were to : 1) evaluate the effectiveness of patient's cognitive-perceptual factors on health promoting behaviors and quality of life ; 2) examine the causal relationships among perceived benefit, perceived barrier, perceived susceptibility and severity, internal locus of control, perceived health status, hope, health concept, self efficacy, self esteem health promoting behaviors & quality of life ; 3) build and test a global hypothetical model. The subjects for this study were 164 patients who were being treated for stomach cancer were approached in the outpatient clinic on a University Hospital. The data from the completed questionnaires were analyzed using Linear Structural Relationships (LISREL). The results of research are as follows : 1) Hypothetical model and the modified model showed a good fit to the empirical data, revealing considerable explanational power for health promoting behaviors(54.9%) and quality of life(87.6%) 2) Self efficacy and hope had significant effects on health promoting behaviors. Of these, hope was affected indirectly through self efficacy and self esteem. 3) Perceived health status, hope and self esteem had significant direct effect on the quality of life. Of these variables, perceived health status was the most essential factor affecting general satisfaction in life. 4) Self-efficacy, as a mediating variable, was positively affected by perceived benefit and hope. 5) Self-esteem, as a mediating variable, was positively affected by perceived health status and hope. 6) Hope was the main variable affecting self efficacy, self esteem, health promoting behaviors and quality of life. The derived model in this study could effectively be used as a reference model for further study and could suggests a direction for nursing practices

Reliability of mortar filling layer void length in in-service ballastless track-bridge system of HSR

  • To study the evaluation standard and control limit of mortar filling layer void length, in this paper, the train sub-model was developed by MATLAB and the track-bridge sub-model considering the mortar filling layer void was established by ANSYS. The two sub-models were assembled into a train-track-bridge coupling dynamic model through the wheel-rail contact relationship, and the validity was corroborated by the coupling dynamic model with the literature model. Considering the randomness of fastening stiffness, mortar elastic modulus, length of mortar filling layer void, and pier settlement, the test points were designed by the Box-Behnken method based on Design-Expert software. The coupled dynamic model was calculated, and the support vector regression (SVR) nonlinear mapping model of the wheel-rail system was established. The learning, prediction, and verification were carried out. Finally, the reliable probability of the amplification coefficient distribution of the response index of the train and structure in different ranges was obtained based on the SVR nonlinear mapping model and Latin hypercube sampling method. The limit of the length of the mortar filling layer void was, thus, obtained. The results show that the SVR nonlinear mapping model developed in this paper has a high fitting accuracy of 0.993, and the computational efficiency is significantly improved by 99.86%. It can be used to calculate the dynamic response of the wheel-rail system. The length of the mortar filling layer void significantly affects the wheel-rail vertical force, wheel weight load reduction ratio, rail vertical displacement, and track plate vertical displacement. The dynamic response of the track structure has a more significant effect on the limit value of the length of the mortar filling layer void than the dynamic response of the vehicle, and the rail vertical displacement is the most obvious. At 250 km/h - 350 km/h train running speed, the limit values of grade I, II, and III of the lengths of the mortar filling layer void are 3.932 m, 4.337 m, and 4.766 m, respectively. The results can provide some reference for the long-term service performance reliability of the ballastless track-bridge system of HRS.

지오이드 모델에 따른 Boresight 검정 비교 (Boresight Calibration Comparison Using Geoid Models)

  • 최근 디지털 항공사진측량 분야에서 Direct Georeferencing 활용이 일반화되었으며, 이때 항공사진의 외부표정요소를 정확히 산출하기 위해 Boresight 검정이 필수적이다. 이 과정에서 높이에 대한 기준인 지오이드 모델을 사용하게 되는데, 지오이드 모델에 따라 Boresight 검정 결과가 다르게 나타날 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Direct Georeferencing을 통한 외부표정요소 산출에 있어서 Boresight 검정시 지오이드 모델에 따라 그 값에 차이가 발생할 수 있음을 인지하고, 지오이드 모델이 Boresight 검정에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 세 가지 경우로 구분하여 실험하였다. 실험에 사용된 지오이드 모델은 EGM96, EGM08, KNGeoid14이며, 이에 따라 Boresight 검정을 통해 Datum Shift, Boresight Angle을 계산하였다. 또한 각각의 경우를 적용해 외부표정요소 산출 후 DPW(Digital Photogrammetry Worktation)를 이용해 지상기준점을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 지오이드 모델에 따른 Boresight 검정 결과 Datum Shift에서 Z에서 차이가 있었으며, 외부표정요소에서 높이 Z와 회전량 Ω, Φ에서 차이를 보였다. 각각의 경우에서 수치도화기를 이용해 지상기준점과 비교한 결과 지오이드 모델에 따른 관측정확도의 차이는 3cm 내외로, 지오이드 모델이 Boresight 검정에 큰 영향을 미치지 않음을 알 수 있었다.
