Objective: This study evaluated the expression level of high mobility group box-B1 (HMGB-1) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) inmorder to reveal any relation with development and prognosis. Methods: NSCLC and normal tissues were selected from 30 patients at age of 30-73, and used for RT-PCR and Western blot analyses of HMGB-1. A total of 100 paraffin embedded NSCLC tissues were also isolated from patients through surgical resection, and used for detection of HMGB-1 by immunohistochemistry. In addition, 50 samples were also applied for MMP-9 detection, and 30 normal tissues were considered as controls. Correlation analysis of HMGB-1 and MMP-9 was carried out by Pearsons correlation coefficient. Results: The average expression level of HMGB-1 in NSCLC patients was significantly higher than in normal lung tissues. In addition, patients in III-IV period exhibit significantly higher positive rate of HMGB-1 when compared with I-II period cases. Furthermore, a positive correlation with HMGB-1 was found in the expression of MPP-9. Conclusion: HMGB-1 was highly expressed in NSCLC, which may become a prognostic and predictive marker for NSCLC. Besides, MPP-9 was positively correlated with HMGB-1.

Demand for energy consumption reduction is increasing according to the development expectations of future mobility. Lightweight structural materials are known as a method to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency. In particular, fiber reinforced polymer composite (FRP) is attracting attention as a material that can replace existing metal alloys due to its excellent mechanical properties and light weight. In this paper, industrial applications and research trends of carbon fiber reinforced composites (CFRP, carbon FRP) and self-reinforced composites (SRC) were reviewed based on the reinforcement, polymer matrix, and manufacturing process. In order to overcome the expensive process cost and long manufacturing time of the epoxy resin-based autoclave method, which is mainly used in the aircraft field, mass production of CFRP-applied electric vehicles has been reported using a high-pressure resin transfer molding process including fast-curing epoxy. In addition, thermoplastic resin-based CFRP and interface enhancement methods to solve the recycling issue of carbon fiber composites were reviewed in terms of materials and processes. To form a perfect matrix-reinforcement interface, which is known as the major factor inducing the excellent mechanical properties of FRP, studies on SRC impregnated with the same matrix in polymer fibers have been reported. The physical and mechanical properties of SRC based on various thermoplastic polymers were reviewed in terms of polymer orientation and composite structure. In addition, a copolymer matrix strategy for extending the processing window of highly drawn polypropylene fiber-based SRC was discussed. The application of CFRP and SRC as lightweight structural materials can provide potential options for improving the energy efficiency of future mobility.
In this paper characteristics of polycrystalline silicon crystallized by excimer laser on plastic substrate under 150$^{\circ}C$ is investigated. Amorphous silicon is deposited by rf-magnetron sputter in atmosphere of Ar and He for preventing depletion effect by dehydrogenation as deposition by PECVD. After annealing by 308 nm, 30 Hz, double pulse type XeCl excimer laser, p-chnnel low temperature polycrystalline silicon TFT which maximum mobility is $64cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ at $344mJ/cm^2$ is fabricate.
In order to check the effect of dislocation behavior on creep rate in 12% Chromium steel, 14 samples of different compositions were examined by creep rupture test, and subgrain sizes, distribution of dislocations and precipitates were checked. And, authors reviewed the behaviors of dislocations, the formation and growth of subgrains and precipitates during creep. The results are as the following: 1) Creep rates calculated by .epsilon. over dot = .rho.bv show 10-15% higher values than actual data measured. However, authors conclude that the density and velocity of dislocations together with subgrain size are important factors governing deformation during creep in 12% chromium steel. 2) The values of the strength of obstacles in the mobility of dislocations are more clearly depended on the effective stress in the range of $10{\pm}5kgf/mm^{2}$ and increase with the increase of temperature. 3) Creep rates decrease with the smaller sizes of subgrains formed and can result in the longer creep rupture lives(hours). The smaller subgrains can be made by forming shorter free gliding distances of dislocations with very fine precipitates formed in the matrix during creep by applying proper alloy design. 4) Dislocation mobility gets hindered by precipitates occurring, which are coarsened by the softening process governed by diffusion during long time creep.

This paper explains a general coupling system in terms of the system parameters. impedance of a cavity or mobility of a structure. To easily access the mechanism of the structural-acoustic coupled system, a simple expression is derived. A general coupled equation is also derived of a general coupled problem constituted a flexible structure and an opening boundary in terms of vector and matrix notation, and is analyzed the coupling phenomena using the understanding acquired simple coupled system. The paper shows that the general coupled equation is expanded version of the simple coupled equation by some limiting checks. The paper also shows that the degree of coupling is proportioned to a stiffness of the acoustic system and a modal coupling coefficient, but is in inverse proportion to a mass of the structural system and the difference of the excitation frequency and resonant frequency of the acoustic or structural system.
The authors report on the fabrication of thin film transistors (TFTs) that use amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (a-IGZO) channel and have the channel length (L) and width (W) patterned by dry etching. To prevent the plasma damage of active channel, a 100-nm-thckness $SiO_{x}$ by PECVD was adopted as an etch-stopper structure. IGZO TFT (W/L=10/50${\mu}m$) fabricated on glass exhibited the high performance mobility of $35.8\;cm^2/Vs$, a subthreshold gate voltage swing of $0.59V/dec$, and $I_{on/off}$ of $4.9{\times}10^6$. In addition, 4.1” transparent QCIF active-matrix organic light-emitting diode display were successfully fabricated, which was driven by a-IGZO TFTs.
A breed of cattle, i.e., Korean cattle (Hanwoo), was identified based on the DNA mobilities of their microsatellites (MSs) by capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE) with a laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) detector. The MS markers were used for the accurate identification of species-specific genes. The DNA mobilities of the MS markers of Hanwoo and Holstein were measured using a CGE system with a fused-silica capillary (inner diameter of 75 ${\mu}m$, outer diameter of 365 ${\mu}m$, and total length of 50 cm). The capillary was dynamically coated with 1.0% (w/v) polyvinylpyrrolidone ($M_r$ = 1,000,000) and then filled with a mixture of 1.3% (w/v) poly(ethylene oxide) ($M_r$ = 600,000) and 1.9% (w/v) poly(ethylene oxide) (Mr = 8,000,000) as a sieving gel matrix. The species-specific genes of Hanwoo and Holstein were clearly distinguished within 33 min. This CGE assay technique is expected to be a useful analytical method for the fast and accurate identification of breeds of cattle.

This study suggests a Healthcare System for elderly and disabled who have mobility impairment and use a wheelchair for long time. Seating long time in a wheelchair without reducing pressure causes high risk of developing pressure sores. Pressure sores come with great deal of pain and often lead to develop complication. Not only it takes time and effort to treat pressure sores but also increases medical expenses. Therefore, we will develop a device to help to prevent pressure sores by measuring pressure distribution while seating in a wheelchair and wirelessly send information to user device to check pressure distribution in real time. The equipment to measure body pressure is composed of FSR sitting mat which is a sensor measuring part and an user terminal which is a monitoring part. The designed mat is matrix formed FSR sensor to measure pressure. The sensor send measured data to the controller which is connected to the end of the mat, and then the collected data are sent to an user terminal through a bluetooth. Developing a pressure monitoring system will help to prevent those who have mobility impairment to manage pressure sores and furthermore relieve their burden of medical expenses.

In this paper, we propose a solution that enables continuous indoor/outdoor positioning of smartphone users through the integration of Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) and GPS/WiFi signals. Considering that accurate step detection affects the accuracy of PDR, we propose a Deep Neural Network (DNN)-based technology to distinguish between walking and non-walking signals such as walking in place. Furthermore, in order to integrate PDR with GPS and WiFi signals, a technique is used to select a proper measurement by distinguishing between indoor/outdoor environments based on GPS Dilution of Precision (DOP) information. In addition, we propose a technology to adaptively change the measurement error covariance matrix by detecting measurement outliers that mainly occur in the indoor/outdoor transition section through a residual-based χ2 test. It is verified through experiments on a testbed that these technologies significantly improve the performance of PDR and PDR/GPS/WiFi fingerprinting-based integrated pedestrian navigation.
