  • Finite difference schemes are considered for a $Ca^{2+}$ diffusion equations, which discribe $Ca^{2+}$ buffering by using stationary and mobile buffers. Stability and $L^\infty$ error estimates of approximate solutions for the corresponding schemes are obtained using the extended Lax-Richtmyer equivalence theorem.

  • Buffer의 특성에 맞는 체류인자에 관한 모텔식을 얻기 위 해서는 buffer 9} 양이온의 농도에 관한 관련식을 실험으로 결 정해야 한다 또한 model 식에서 비이온과 음이온의 체류인 자를 나타내는 ko와 k의 값이 일정한 경향을 나타내고 있기 때문에 buffer의 농도와 modifier의 농도를 동시에 고려한 model 식이 가능하게 된다. 본 연구에서 제안한 모델식을 이용하여 임의의 buffer의 농도에 따른 시료의 체류시간을 예측할 수 있다. 이러한 모텔식을 이용하여 buffer를 이 용한 RP-HPLC의 분석 및 분리조건을 예측할 수 있고 시행 오차적인 방법보다 빠른 시간 내에 최적의 분석 및 분리조건 을 얻을 수 있다

  • NAND flash memories have the advantages of fast access speed, high density and low power consumption, thus they have increasing demand in embedded system and mobile environment. Despite the low power and fast speed gains of NAND flash memory, DRAM disk buffers were used because of the performance load and limited durability of NAND flash cell. However, DRAM disk buffers are not suitable for limited energy environments due to their high static energy consumption. In this paper, we propose WAP-LRU (Write pattern Analysis based Placement by LRU) hybrid disk buffer management policy. Our policy designates the buffer location in the hybrid memory by analyzing write pattern of the workloads to check the continuity of the page operations. In our simulation, WAP-LRU increased the lifetime of NAND flash memory by reducing the number of garbage collections by 63.1% on average. In addition, energy consumption is reduced by an average of 53.4% compared to DRAM disk buffers.

Electromagnetic Susceptibility Analysis of I/O Buffers Using the Bulk Current Injection Method

  • In this paper, we present a set of methodologies to model the electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS) testing of I/O buffers for mobile system memory based on the bulk current injection (BCI) method. An efficient equivalent circuit model is developed for the current injection probe, line impedance stabilization network (LISN), printed circuit board (PCB), and package. The simulation results show good correlation with the measurements and thus, the work presented here will enable electromagnetic susceptibility analysis at the integrated circuit (IC) design stage.

  • Realtime applications like VoIP(Voice over IP) in All-IP networks need smooth handoffs in order to minimize or eliminate packet loss as a Mobile Host(MH) transitions between network links. In this paper, we design a new dynamic buffering(DB) mechanism for IPv6 by which an MH can request that the router on its current subnet buffers packets on its behalf while the MH completes registration procedures with the router of a new subnet. Performance results show that our proposed buffering scheme with a dynamic buffer space allocation is quite appropriate for mobile Internet, or the All-IP environment in terms of the datagram loss rate.

  • 멀티미디어 응용프로그램들은 일반적으로 많은 양의 데이터 전송과 실시간특성을 가지고 있다. 모빌환경에서 실시간 대용량 연속매체의 재생은 낮은 전송속도와 핸드오프시의 새로운 데이터 전송경로설정 등으로 인하여 매체재생의 단절, 재생품질 저하 등의 문제를 야기한다. 이러한 부작용을 방지하기 위해서는 베이스 스테이션과 모빌 호스트 사이에 데이터 전송대역폭의 효융적인 사용법과 모빌 호스트의 버퍼관리를 효과적으 로 하여야 하며, 핸드오프시 새로운 데이터 전송경로를 빠르게 전환시켜 주어야한다. 본 연구는 대용량 실시간 의 멀티미디어 재생특성을 고려, 모빌 호스트에 양질의 서비스를 제공하는 효율적인 대역폭 사용법과 단위 셀에서 수용할 수 있는 모빌 호스트의 수를 확대하는 메커니즘을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 이동망에서 VoIP(Voice over If와 같은 실시간 응용을 지원할 때 고려되어야 할 중요한 이슈는 원활한 핸드오프를 제공할 수 있는 능력이다. 원활한 핸드오프를 위한 중요한 요구사항은 네트워크 링크사이에서 이동호스트가 새로운 망으로 이동시 패킷 손실을 최소로 하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 MH(Mobile Host)가 새로운 서브넷에서 완전한 등록절차를 끝내는 동안 MH를 대신하여 현재 서브넷상의 라우터가 패킷을 버퍼링하도록 새로운 가변적 버퍼관리기법과 이에 대한 분석을 다룬다. 성능결과는 제안된 핸드오프기반 가변적 버퍼링 기법이 패킷 손실률 측면에서 이동 인터넷 환경에 적당함을 보여주었다.

아동의 휴대전화 의존과 학습행동 통제 간의 관계에서 부모감독의 조절효과 (Moderating Effects of Parental Monitoring in the Relationship between Children's Dependency on Mobile Phones and Control of Learning Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effects of parental monitoring on the relationship between children's dependency on mobile phones and control of learning behavior. The data came from the 2010 Korean Children and Youth Panel (N = 1,609) conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute. The analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling by using SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 7.0. To test the significant moderating effects, Ping's two-step technique, which is free from the requirement of nonlinear constraints, was used. Our results demonstrated that children's dependency on mobile phones had negative effects on control of learning behavior, and the interaction effects between such dependency and parental monitoring affected the control of learning behavior. Thus, these results proved the moderating effects of parental monitoring in the control of learning behavior. This study suggests that parental monitoring buffers against having difficulties to control and adjust one's behavior associated with control of learning behavior, which is affected by the dependency on mobile phones among children. We discussed that the risks of children's dependency on mobile phones and parental monitoring should be acknowledge as a significant protective factor.
