고분자막을 이용한 $N_2-SO_2$ 혼합기체의 분리에 관한 연구 (A Study on Separation of $N_2-SO_2$ Mixed Gas by Polymer Membranes)

  • 여러가지 고분자막을 이용하여 $N_2-SO_2$ 혼합기체를 분리하는 데 있어서 압력, 온도 등을 조작변수로 하여 투과계수와 분리인자를 계산하고 이에 따른 기체투과 특성을 규명하고 분리성능을 측정하였다. 실험한 압력의 범위는 0.1~1.0 MPa이었으며, 온도범위는 283~303 K이었다. 압력이 커질수록 투과계수와 분리인자가 증가하였으나, 온도증가에 따라 투과계수와 분리인자는 감소하였다. 본 실험에서 사용된 막 중 Film-Tech사의 FT-30이 $N_2-SO_2$ 혼합기체의 분리능력이 가장 뛰어난 것으로 나타났다.

혐기성 고정상반응기와 슬러지 Bed반응기에서 혼합-식품폐수처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mixed-Food Wastewater Treatment in an Anaerobic Packed Bed Reactor and Sludge Bed Reactor)

  • The characteristics of food wastewater treatment in an anaerobic packed bed reactor (APBR) with polyurethane as a packing material and sludge bed reactor (ASBR) was studied. The reactor of 9cm-ID, 150cm-height was fed in a continuous mode from bottom of reactor. For the purpose of constant temperature of reactor, water jacket was installed. The used packing materials was polyurethane sponge foam. Methane which was produced by decomposed organics collected at the top of the reactor for using as a fuel. The substrates used were synthetic, mixed and food wastewater. For the acclimatization of microorganisms, mixed wastewater was used. The major analyses were gas production, COD, pH and volatile acids. Based upon the completed works, the results are as follows: When food wastewater was fed the quantity of produced gas was less than that of synthetic wastewater, but food process saw higher methane content than synthetic process. As well as COD removal efficiency of food process reached at about 85%. In aspect of effluent volatile acid, food process showed low concentration of below 500 mg/l, therefore anaerobic reaction stabled. Conclusively food wastewater used can be digested by anaerobic treatment, especially anaerobic packed bed reactor showed 82% of COD removal, 75% of methane content, 10 l of gas production, and anaerobic sludge bed reactor did 79% of COD removal, 75% of methane content, 81 of gas production at 4 kgCOD/m$^3$day, 36$\circ$C.

Corrosion of Carbon Steel with and without Aluminized Coating in (O, S, H)-containing Gases at 500-800℃

  • The carbon steel formed the thick, somewhat porous, loosely adherent iron oxide scale when oxidized at $500-800^{\circ}C$ for 15 h in air. It formed the thicker, more porous, nonadherent scale consisting of FeS plus iron oxides in $Ar/1%SO_2$-mixed gas. It formed the much thicker, more porous, nonadherent scale consisting of FeS plus iron oxides in Ar/0.1% $H_2S$-mixed gas. However, the aluminized carbon steel formed the thin, protective $Al_2O_3$ surface scale even in $Ar/1%SO_2$-, and $Ar/0.1%H_2S$-mixed gas. Aluminizing drastically improved the corrosion resistance in (O, S, H)-containing gas.

소규모 가스전 규모에 따른 SMR 천연가스 액화 플랜트 용량별 비용 분석 사례연구 (Case Studies for SMR Natural Gas Liquefaction Plant by Capacity in Small Scale Gas Wells through Cost Analysis)

  • 천연가스 액화공정은 극저온에서 운전되며, 에너지 집약적이다. 따라서 에너지 소모량을 최소화하기 위한 최적화 연구가 많이 진행되고 있으나, 천연가스 액화공정의 용량에 따른 비용 최적화는 많이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 천연가스 액화공정 중 SMR (Single Mixed Refrigerant) 공정을 대상으로, 용량별 설치비용과 운전비용을 분석하였다. SMR 공정의 용량은 1 MTPA (million ton per annum)부터 0.5 MTPA 단위로 증가하여 2.5 MTPA까지 설정하였다. 플랜트 용량의 증가에 따라 천연가스와 냉매의 유량만을 증가시켰으며, 온도, 압력, 조성 등 다른 운전조건은 모든 용량에서 동일하게 적용하였다. 비용 분석을 위해 Aspen Economic Evaluator(v8.7)를 사용하였으며, 비용 정보를 얻기 힘든 다중 흐름 열교환기의 경우에는 six tenths factor rule을 적용하여 계산하였다. 또한 용량별 SMR 공정의 비용 연구결과를 2천만 톤, 4천만 톤 및 8천만 톤 규모의 소규모 가스전에 대하여 적용한 결과, 가스전 규모에 따라 최적의 플랜트 용량을 찾을 수 있었다. 이러한 비용 분석을 통해 비용기반 최적화의 발판을 마련하였다.

  • 울산의 한 실험실에서 3년 전에 혼합가스용기(80% 아르곤 20% 산소)가 파열되었다. 그러나 파열의 원인이 명확하게 규명되지 못하였다. 이 논문은 공인 감정기관의 감정서와 경찰의 수사결과보고서를 토대로 사고시나리오를 제시하여 보았다. 폭발은 혼합가스 용기 내에서의 화학반응에 의하여 발생한 것으로 판단된다. 이는 고압산소용기의 파열사고들과 유사한 것으로 사료된다.

  • Gas permeability of the solidified sewage sludge needs to be characterized in order to use as a large-scale landfill cover material. Four different types of the samples were prepared for gas permeability experiments: (1) granite soil, (2) dried sewage sludge, (3) solidified sewage mixed with slag and (4) solidified sewage mixed with granite soils. The experimental instrumentation and measurement devices were newly designed and created to effectively evaluate gas permeability of the samples.

  • Analyzed Parametrically was an internal combustion engine combined with gas turbine the cycle of which is splitted into compression side cylinder and expansion side one, and heat adding of which is during constant volume pressure, temperature process. The advantages of each measures were analyzed by means of thermal cycle diagram. The thermal efficiency of partial load cutting off firstly isothermal heat adding and secondly isobaric heat adding also was analyzed The authors suggested some potentials about the performance as for thermal efficiency, mean effective pressure and reducing emissions and noise supposed were the operating parameter of the engine set to some values and were some problems solved.

  • The gas mixtures ($H_2$/$N_2$, He/$N_2$) having a high thermal conductivity allow the heat generated by the nitriding exotherm to be dissipated from the compact in to the nitriding atmosphere permitting a more accurate control of temperature and produces a more uniform microstructure. In order to observe the effect of the mixed gas atmosphere on the microsturcture of RBSN. the specimen was nitrided in the mixed gas atmosphere which was containe up to 50vol% $H_2$ or He for 0-12 hrs at 135$0^{\circ}C$. The addition of hydrogen to nitrogen gas resulted in the growth of a-needle at the early stage of nitrding increase of the reaction rate and a finer and more uniform microstructure. in case of the addition of helium the behaviour of reaction was similar to the one with pure nitrogen. As the amount of helium was increased a coarse microstructure was formed.

  • Al electrode for OLED was deposited by Facing Targets Sputtering(FTS) system which can reduce the damage of organic layer. The Al thin films were deposited on the slide glass as a function of working gas such as Ar, Kr or mixed gas. The film surface image was observed by AFM and SEM. In the results, when Al thin film were deposited using mixed gas, the surface morphology was improved in some region.
