지역교회간호(Parish Nursing) - 일차건강간호를 위한 새로운 도약 (Parish Nursing : A New Challenge for Primary Health Care)

  • ursing as a profession is characterized by its holistic, mind-body-spirit approach to the patient. Also, nurses have historically been the leaders in health education and promotion. Parish nursing has a great potential for providing primary preventive health care. services as well as assisting people to access the health care system. While working in the community, parish nurses see the church as the new arena for delivering health care services. The parish nurse program was introduced by Granger Westberg in 1984. The concept of parish nursing is based on several beliefs; health is multidimensional and affects all aspects of an individual-physical, psychological, social, and spiritaul being. Parish nursing is one model in which churches can cooperatively work with health care institutions to address the needs of their parishioners. The role of the parish nurse is emphasized in four basic area: a) health education, b) health counseling, c) referal services, and d) facilitation and organization of support groups within the congregation. The parish nurse programs work chiefly in congregation or commuity where a certain language of faith is ready at hand. This means that the parish nurse works in an ecology of meanings and care which encourages the drawing on the message of God's grace, the practices and habits it encourages. The parish nurse may be involved in the church's health ministries and may work on either paid or volunteer basis; however, one of the most important qualification of the parish nurse is to have the nursing knowledge and skills to practice within the standards of Nursing Practice Act. The completion of standards of practice for professional nurses practicing as parish nurses had been identified as a priority by the HMA Executive Board (1996, HMA). In conclusion, parish nursing promotes health and healing by empowering the faith community, family, or individual to incorporate health and healing practices. There are several preconditions that should proceed to establish the foundation for successful development of the parish nursing program in Korea. First, reciprocal relationship with home health nursing should be considered. Second, correct terms and concepts of parish nursing should be studied and understood. Third, systematic study and investigation should be followed for further development of parish nursing. Fourth, strengths and weaknesses of different models should be studied to develop proper model of parish nursing for Korean situation. Finally, consensus of standardized education program and corporation with various religious communities as well as health institutions should be established. When these preconditions are met, the role of parish nursing as a new program for the promotion of holistic health will be established.

栗谷理气论视域观大巡思想 (Daesoon Thought from the Perspective of Yulgok's Theory of Reason and Energy)

  • 大巡思想是朝鲜朝晚期甑山姜一淳 (1871~1909) 为上帝的韩国本土宗教思想。它以 《典经》 为其经典。甑山的大巡思想从宗旨, 四纲领, 三要谛, 目的来看, 使用的概念和范畴以及文章结构, 都不无儒学没有关系。因为阴阳合德, 神人, 道统, 安心安身, 诚敬信等术语在儒学思想中普遍使用的概念和范畴。本论文从栗谷理气论的理气之妙, 气发理乘, 理通气局等论理, 考察甑山的大巡思想, 试图在「妙合」, 「气化」, 「道通」等方面寻求栗谷和甑山的相通性。本研究虽然在两者思想的比较上不无牵强附会的层面, 但是作为朝鲜朝的传统思想, 两者之间会有丝缕相连的关系。本论文的这一尝试对甑山思想的多视角研究具有一定的价值。

태극권 수련자의 뇌파와 성격 및 식습관에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Brain Waves, Personality and Dietary Behaviors of Taekukkwon Practicianers)

  • Taekukkwon was practiced far health previously. The experimental group consisted of undergraduate and graduate students practising in the above disciplines at Myong Ji University. The group consisted of three female and three male students and the aim of this research was to measure the brain wave change for opened and closed eyes. The result of this research are as follows. Firstly, when students were subjected to basic open eye brain wave tests, beta-waves displayed for all regions of the brain. In the frontal region fast beta-waves were displayed and in the central region alpha-waves were displayed. Secondly, in the closed eye brain wave tests, the control group displayed beta-waves in some regions and alpha waves in external and internal regions. For all students\` brain-wave patterns, the amplitude of the alpha-wave was low and the frequency was high. In some students theta-waves were displayed. Taekukkwon practice relaxes the mind and body and helps relieve social stress which shows that taichichuan practices is beneficial. Finally, characteristics of the subjects were mostly type A so the personalities of the subjects were fast and aggressive. This research shows a definite link between personality and personal relationships with beta-waves emissions. So, further research is required in the future to investigate this relationship. The subjects consumed too large amount of foods so it was necessary to change their dietary habits taking into consideration on total calories, fats, and protein. It was also necessary to carrying out nutrition education to the students in emphasizing appropriate attitudes in general health and dietary behavior.

大巡伦理思想探析 (A Research on the Ethics in Daesoon Jinrihoe)

  • 大巡伦理思想以"一道""二山""三界"为信仰要素, 建构一套生命宗教的新型伦理形态。其中, "一道"即姜甑山"大巡"天下所传"真理", 亦即大巡伦理思想之基本道德原则, 内容为"阴阳合德, 神人调化, 解冤相生, 道通真境" ; "二山"为大巡真理会之信仰对象, 即"教主"姜甑山和"道主"赵鼎山 ; "三界"为大巡道德关怀的涵括天地人在内的生命视域。围绕其宗教道德原则, 大巡真理会以"诚, 敬, 信"为"三要谛", 以"安心, 安身, 敬天, 修道"为"四纲领", 将其"一道"的伦理要旨, 转化为终极信仰的道德要求与人伦日用的行为规范, 进而对道人之身心修行工夫与神明交互感应做出宗教礼仪规制, 再从个人修道之"道通真境", 人神皆尊协同, 以及道信众生共建"地上仙境"道出其伦理价值理想。大巡伦理思想与佛, 耶, 道诸教相较, 具有三大精神特质 : "三界相生"的整体性, "人神皆尊"的协同性, 以及"地上天国"的入世性。

알베르티의 건축 설계론과 비트루비우스 (Alberti's Theory of Architectural Design and Vitruvius)

  • Alberti's De re aedificatoria is the earliest case in the history of Italian Renaissance architectural treatises dealing with recovery of antiquity through textual and archaeological pursuits. The key source of the Renaissance theoreticians was Vitruvius' De architectura. However, Alberti was keenly aware of inaccuracy and Hellenization of Latinity in this classical text, and tried to compensate them in his own treatise. Furthermore he claimed a reformed discipline of the architects as well as the patrons, and prescribed how future buildings and cities should be built, based on the proper authority of ancient architecture in proper and intelligible Latin. Such an adaptation of classical usage in order to reestablish a modern norm preceded in his earlier work Momus, a satire on the contemporary Italian society of his own by following the model of Lucian. Alberti's suggestion of proper government in Momus's phrase was expanded in De re aedificatoria, for he consider the buildings are subject to the rules of morality and public interests. He proclaimed that the nature of beauty is the reasoned harmony of every part within a body, and architectural beauty also lies on the harmonized arrangement of all the elements within an individual building and of all individual buildings and facilities within a city. For the architects to execute this task, he formulated the concept of lineanenta, the form derived from the mind in order to prescribe the proper place, numbers, scale, and orders for whole building structure. It is the future oriented city-plans and building designs to serve the public interest and the good of all the individual citizens who make up the City-State that Alberti pursued in his treatise.

RELATIONAL CONTRACTING: THE WAY FORWARD OR JUST A BRAND NAME?

  • Accounts of the development of a successful construction project often stress the importance of team relationship, project environment and senior management commitment. Numbers of studies carried out in the past decades indicate there needs to be a change of culture and attitude in the construction industry. In order for a turn around in the industry, relational contracting approaches have become more popular in recent years. However, not all relational contracting projects were successful. This paper details the fundamental principles of relational contracting. It further reports findings of a research currently taking place in Australia, how effective is relational contracting in practice. The problem addressed in this research is the implementation of relational contracting: • Throughout a range of projects • With a focus on client body staff The context within which the research was undertaken is: • Empowerment, regional development and promotion of a sustainable industry • The participating organisations have experience of partnering and alliancing • Success has been proven on large projects but performance is variable • Need has been identified to examine skill sets needed for successful partnering/alliancing The practical rationale behind this research is that: • Partnering and alliancing require a change of mind set - a culture change • The Client side must change along with contracting side • A fit is required between organisation structure and organisation culture Research Rationale: The rationale behind this project has been to conduct research within participating organisations, analyse, rationalise and generalise results and then move on to produce generic deliverables and "participating organisation specific" deliverables. This paper sets out the work so far, the links between the various elements and a plan for turning the research output into industry deliverables.

서구(西區) 대체의학(代替醫學)의 암(癌) 치료(治療)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Study on Alternative Medicine in Cancer Therapy)

  • At here, we investigated the historical background, current stage, and concrete therapies of alternatives in cancer therapy. We obtained the conclusion below. 1. Alternative medicine(AM) is a unothodoxial medical physiology, medical practice or intervension that overcome the side effects, faults, limits of coventional medicine. 2. Recentely, as emerging New-age movement, collapse of Decarte's mecanical cosmology, and emphasis on patient rights, the interest of AM is increased, and foreign & domestic use rates of AM are risen. 3. After coventional medicine in cancer therapies that depends on operations, radiations, and chemotherapy is bounded, Alternatives in cancer therapy are rapidly developed, and the majority of users are often considered satisfactory. 4. Alternatives in cancer therapy are classified six boundaries; Diet and Nutrition, Mind-body Technique, Integrated System, Pharmacologic and Biologic treatments, Immuno Enhanced Therapy, Natural and herbal medicine. 5. Looking at contents of Alternatives in cancer therapy, we get to know most of them are similar to the treatment of oriental medicine in holistic method, therapy, philosophy. If we synthesize the alternative medicine's treatment mentioned above and investigate it with oriental medical viewpoint, that may help us approach the conquest of cancer and improve the rate of cure. 6. It is certain that foreign AM will be imported reversely, and we must prepare for rebuilding of Korean traditional AM systemically, investing for activity positively, making national policy for medical system.

Deficiency or activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α reduces the tissue concentrations of endogenously synthesized docosahexaenoic acid in C57BL/6J mice

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), an n-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (LCPUFA), is acquired by dietary intake or the in vivo conversion of ${\alpha}$-linolenic acid. Many enzymes participating in LCPUFA synthesis are regulated by peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha ($PPAR{\alpha}$). Therefore, it was hypothesized that the tissue accretion of endogenously synthesized DHA could be modified by $PPAR{\alpha}$. MATERIALS/METHODS: The tissue DHA concentrations and mRNA levels of genes participating in DHA biosynthesis were compared among $PPAR{\alpha}$ homozygous (KO), heterozygous (HZ), and wild type (WT) mice (Exp I), and between WT mice treated with clofibrate ($PPAR{\alpha}$ agonist) or those not treated (Exp II). In ExpII, the expression levels of the proteins associated with DHA function in the brain cortex and retina were also measured. An n3-PUFA depleted/replenished regimen was applied to mitigate the confounding effects of maternal DHA. RESULTS: $PPAR{\alpha}$ ablation reduced the hepatic Acox, Fads1, and Fads2 mRNA levels, as well as the DHA concentration in the liver, but not in the brain cortex. In contrast, $PPAR{\alpha}$ activation increased hepatic Acox, Fads1, Fads2, and Elovl5 mRNA levels, but reduced the DHA concentrations in the liver, retina, and phospholipid of brain cortex, and decreased mRNA and protein levels of the brain-derived neurotrophic factor in brain cortex. CONCLUSIONS: LCPUFA enzyme expression was altered by $PPAR{\alpha}$. Either $PPAR{\alpha}$ deficiency or activation-decreased tissue DHA concentration is a stimulus for further studies to determine the functional significance.

  • 1. Objects of Research This research is purposed to find Dong-mu's thought on 'Knowing-Airing(知行), through summarizing sentences related to 'Knowing-Acting(知行)'proposed in his writings. 2. 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)${\lrcorner}$ is difffrent from 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon Sasang Chobongyun(束醫壽世保元圖象草本卷${\lrcorner}$ 'Knowing(知)'is conception of marals such as 'Humanity Jusrire propriety Wisdom(仁義禮智)' and Loyality Filialpiety Friendship Fraternity(忠孝友悌)'. 'Acting(行)' is conception of productivity such as 'Scholar Farm Engineer Merchannt(士農工商)' and 'Field Residence District Nation (田業邦國). 4. 'Knowing-Acting(知行)' in ${\ulcorner}$Dong-mu's posthumos work(東武遺葉)${\ulcorner}$ was c1assified into large and small one. The large one is private and the small one is public. It is imponant to become sincere and respectful for achieve 'Ideal medium of Knowing-Acting.'.

대순사상의 미(美) 개념과 미학적 특징 (The Concept of Beauty and Aesthetic Characteristics in Daesoon Thought)

  • 본 연구는 진과 선의 가치가 미의 형태로 드러난다면 대순사상에서 진리는 어떻게 '미적인 것'으로 표출되고 나타나는지를 미학적 관점에서 분석하고자 하였다. 이에 대순진리회의 신앙을 감각과 감정, 아름다움으로 성찰하는 전통 미학 혹은 신학적 미학의 방법으로 접근해보고자 한다. 「전경」을 중심으로 살펴본 대순사상의 미 개념은 신성(神性)과 도리(道理), 일심(一心), 관계(關係)에 숭고와 균제, 절제, 조화미로 나타난다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 미 개념으로 고찰한 대순사상의 미학은 천지공사의 미학과 상생의 미학, 치유의 미학이다. 천지공사에는 하느님이 화신(化身)하여 이 땅에 다녀가셨다는 역사가 담겨있다. 인간 '강증산'이 상제라는 깨달음은 충격적인 미적 모티브이자 대순진리회의 신학적 출발점이라 할 수 있다. 상생은 상호관계의 사회성을 심미적으로 나타내는 용어라고 볼 수 있으며 관계의 조화와 통일에 상생의 미학적 구조가 있다고 본다. 치유에는 인류를 무병의 선경세상으로 이끄는 상제의 신성한 숭고미와 인간을 안심·안신으로 나아가게 하는 절제미가 담겨있다 할 수 있다. 치유의 궁극적 가치인 의통은 인류의 이상을 실현해 주는 수도의 종착점이자, 아름다운 삶, 가치 있는 삶이라는 영적 쾌감을 주는 치유의 미학을 보여주고 있다. 미학의 시선으로 살펴본 대순사상의 미학적 특징은 진멸지경에 놓인 세상에서 창생을 구원하고자 우리 곁에 머물다간 상제의 '거룩한 수고'와 상생의 실천으로 치유를 이끌어 내는 미적 태도를 갖고 있음을 알 수 있다. 우리는 아름다운 여인을 보면 '여신(女神) 같다'고 하거나 '선녀(仙女) 같다'는 말을 한다. 아름다운 음악을 들으면 '천상(天上)의 소리'라 찬사하고 즐거움이 가득할 때는 '신(명)이 난다'고 표현한다. 신(神)은 곧 아름다움의 상징이며 신의 세계는 아름다움의 원형을 의미한다 할 수 있다. 아름다움에 대한 경험은 우리의 영혼을 신에게로 안내한다. 대순사상의 미적 체험은 감정적, 지적, 영적 환희의 절정을 이루는 종교체험으로 그 무엇과도 비교할 수 없는 아름다움을 인식하는 심미적 체험이라 할 수 있다.
