  • The microwave dielectric properties of X Ba0-$0.15(Nd_{0.87}Bi_{0.13})_2O_3$-(0.85-X) $TiO_2$ ($X=0.13{\sim}0.17$) and 0.16Ba0-$0.15(Bi_xNd_{1-x})_2O_3-0.69TiO_2$ ($X=0.10{\sim}0.16$) ceramics were investigated. Dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of 0.16Ba0-$0.15(Nd_{0.87}Bi_{0.13})_2O_3-0.69TiO_2$ ceramics sintered at $1320^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours were 89.2, 1920(at 4GHz) and 5.2ppm/$^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • $Mg_4Nb_2O_9$ (MN) ceramics have been prepared by a sol-gel method. The powder characteristics, phase evolution, and microwave dielectric properties of the MN were investigated in various processing conditions such as sol-gel compositions, calcination, and sintering temperatures. A Qxfo value of 111,717 GHz with a ${\varepsilon}_r$ of 10.59 and a ${\tau}_f$ of $+1.736\;ppm/^{\circ}C$ was obtained after sintering at $1300^{\circ}C$ for 5 h.

  • Effect of $Al_2O_3$ Additives on Microwave Dielectric Properties of $0.15(Ba_{0.85}Ca_{(0.15-y)}Mg_y)$-0.125 $Nd_2O_3-0.60TiO_2+10wt%Bi_zO_3$ (y=0.05, 0.08) Ceramics was investigated. To control of $\tau\;{f}$ on microwave dielectric properties of $0.15(Ba_{0.85}Ca_{(0.15-y)}Mg_y)$-0.125 $Nd_2O_3-0.60TiO_2+10wt%Bi_zO_3$ ceramics $Al_2O_3$ was doped in the composition range of 0 to 0.15 wt%. As a result, dielectric constant was decreased from 94 to 80 but $Q\cdot{f}_0$ value was increased from 4980 to 5210 GHz and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency can be controlled from +9 to -10$ppm^\circ{C}$ as an increase of$Al_2O_3$ doping concentration. Especially, a new microwave dielectric material having $\varepsilon\;_r=84,\;Q\cdot{f}_0=5120\;GHz\;and\;\tau_f=0\;ppm/^\circ{C}$ was obtained at $Al_2O_3$ doping concentration of 0.08 wt%.

  • The microwave dielectric properties of Ba(Mg$_{1}$3/Ta$_{2}$3/)O$_3$-xBa(Co$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$[BMT-BCN] ceramics were investigated. The specimens were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. It was found that Ba(Mg$_{1}$3/Ta$_{2}$3/)O$_3$ and Ba(Co$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$ formed a solid solution with complex perovskite structure. Increasing the BCN content, dielectric constant was increased, but temperature coefficient of resonant frequency was decreased. In the range of x$\geq$0.4, dielectric constant was about 30. 0.55BMT-0.45BCN ceramics showed excellent microwave dielectric properties with $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=30.84, Q$\times$f$_{0}$=75,325[GHz] and $\tau$$_{f}$=-2.9015[ppm/$^{\circ}C$].X>].

  • The microwave dielectric properties of (1-x)$LaAlO_3-xCaTiO_3$ system were investigated. As the amount of $LaAlO_3$ increased, the value of the unloaded Q increased, but the dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_r$) decreased. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(${\tau}_f$) of $5ppm/^{\circ}C$ was obtained from the composition of $0.35LaAlO_3-0.65CaTiO_3$ in which the values of ${\varepsilon}_r$ and $Q{\cdot}f_o$ were 42 and 32,500, respectively.

  • Effects of sintering time upon the structures and microwave dielectric characteristics of co-substituted $Ba_{6-3x}$/S $m_{8+}$2x/ $Ti_{18}$ $O_{54}$ ceramics (x=2/3) were investigated. Prolonged sintering had significant effects upon the qf value and temperature coefficient, and a high Qf value (10,600 GHz) was obtained in the present ceramics combined with high-$\varepsilon$ (80) and near-zero temperature coefficient.t..

  • Effects of CaO on microwave dielectric properties of (Ba, Pb)O-Nd2O3-TiO2 ceramic ystem were investigated. As the content of CaO increases, the sintered bulk density decreases due to the decrease of sinterability. However, with increasing the sintering tmperature, the relative dielectric constants increases. This has been attributed on the formation of the 2nd phase inclusion, TiO2(rutile). The Q values increase due to the compensation effect of Ca ions up to 1 wt%, and then decrease due to the interfacial relaxation effects. The temperature coefficient of resonance frequency increases to a positive direction with increasing the amounts of CaO.

  • The microwave dielectric properties of Ba(Mg$_{1}$3/Ta$_{2}$3/O$_3$-Ba(Co$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/O$_3$[BMT-BCN] ceramics were investigated. The specimens were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method with the sintering temperature of 15$25^{\circ}C$~1575$^{\circ}C$. It was found that Ba(Mg$_{1}$3/Ta$_{2}$3/O$_3$[BMT] and BCN formed a solid solution with complex perovskite structure. As increasing the mole fraction of BCN, dielectric constant increased while the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency was changed from positive to negative value. The highest value of quality factor, Q$\times$f$_{0}$=138,205GHz, obtained in the 0.9BMT-0.1BCN ceramics sintered at 1575$^{\circ}C$. In the range of x$\geq$0.4, the dielectric constant was about 30. The 0.55BMT-0.45BCN ceramics sintered at 15$25^{\circ}C$ for 5 hours showed the microwave dielectric properties of $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=30.21, Q$\times$f$_{0}$=85,789GHz and $\tau$$_{f}$=2.9015ppm/$^{\circ}C$.EX>.

  • The (1-x)MgTi $O_3$-xSrTi $O_3$(x=0.02~0.08) ceramics were fabricated by the conventional mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 125$0^{\circ}C$~1375$^{\circ}C$ and 2hours. The structure and microwave dielectric properties were investigated with sintering temperature and composition ratio. From the X-ray diffraction patterns, the cubic SrTi $O_3$and hexagonal MgTi $O_3$structures were coexisted in the (1-x)MgTi $O_3$-xSrTi $O_3$(x=0.02~0.08) ceramics. The dielectric constant($\varepsilon$$_{r}$) was increased and the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($\tau$$_{f}$)was decreased with addition of SrTi $O_3$. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency($\tau$$_{f}$) was gradually varied from negative value to positive value with increasing SrTi $O_3$. In the case of 0.96MgTi $O_3$-0.04SrTi $O_3$ceramics sintered at 130$0^{\circ}C$, the dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 20.5, 5918(at 7.33GHz) and +10ppm/$^{\circ}C$, respectively.y.y.y.
