  • Using the post-consumer waste and edge scrap mixed PET with small amount PP air filter elements of automobiles. It was studied that these mixed waste plastics of the various types of the PET were practicable for the material recycling. Various waste PET/PP plastics were collected, crushed, dried in vacuum, and extruded to recycled PET/PP chips. These chips were mixed with three kinds compatibilizers, EVA, MBS, and recycled PVB of the ratio of $3{\sim}10wt.%$ for the purpose of the compatibility for the post-consumer waste and edge scrap. We investigated mechanical and thermal properties of PET/PP mixtures which were compound with the weight ratio of compatibilizers. Compatibilizer, MBS application was showed the most excellent mechanical properties in the range of the $3{\sim}5wt.%$ EVA application was displayed good impact strength and thermal property in the range of $3{\sim}5wt.%$ Last, recycled PVB application was showed poor mechanical properties in the whole range ratio of the PVB.

  • The spread of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) genetic testing, where users request tests directly, has been increasing. With growing demand, certification systems have been implemented to grant testing qualifications to non-medical institutions, and the scope of tests has been expanded. However, unlike cases in less regulated foreign countries, disease-related tests are still excluded from the domestic regulations. The existing de-identification method does not adequately ensure the uniqueness and familial sharing of genomic information, limiting its practical utility. Therefore, this study proposes the application of fully homomorphic encryption in the analysis process to guarantee the usefulness of genomic information while minimizing the risk of leakage. Additionally, to safeguard the individual's right to self-determination, a privacy preservation model based on Opt-out is suggested. This aims to balance genomic information protection with maintainability of usability, ensuring the availability of information in line with the user's preferences.

  • This study was a succession of the paper of Reference 1), and was an attempt to quantify the Level of Need of Living through the relation bet ween Ds(Degree of Sufficietncy) and Di(Degree of Importance). The relation formula was: Level of Need of Living=Di×(5-Ds)+Di×lrl. From the caculated values, some indicators of highest and lowest Level of Need of Living could be cleared and by them the Level of Consumers' Life and Conciousness could be presumed. The main results are as follows. 1. The rural residents showed the highest Level of Need on the indicators of medical care, culture and basic living expenditures. 3. The higher the perception of social class and the satisfaction of living was, the lower the Level of Need Living was. 4. In general, it was presumed that the Level of Consumer's Life was in the term of sufficiency of the second need, which durable electric consume products were purchased under the intended conciousness of consumers to be as like as others.

  • The purpose of this study was to find how economic structures differ among four different household groups('enough', 'so so', 'a little difficult', 'very difficult') classified by subjective evaluation on their economic conditions. The data were drawn from 2004 Korean Labor and Income Panel Study conducted by Korea Labor Institute, and $X^2$-test and F-test were utilized by SPSS for Windows 10.0. The major findings were as following. First, the economic levels of household groups of 'enough' and 'so so' showed to be higher than the average. This result implies that households tend to evaluate by themselves their economic conditions comparing to the others. Second, the deviations of average economic levels among four different household groups were relatively bigger in household economic elements of liquid asset, monthly savings and insurance than the others, and relatively smaller in household economic elements of total expenditure, especially expenditures in food at home, education, medical, communication than the others. Third, the households of 'a little difficult' and 'very difficult' showed undesirable economic structures resulting from lack of savings and insurance for their future.

  • Purposes: The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the contents of hospital reservation and reception applications(apps) are qualitatively useful in meeting the needs of medical consumers and improving hospital accessibility and convenience. Methodology: (1) identify consumer needs through social data web mining, (2) describe the status of key contents of mobile apps to improve accessibility and convenience of care, and (3) verify the quality of apps through validated tools Finding: The contents of 'mobile reservation function' and 'waiting time information provision' that can contribute to reduction of delay time of care and efficiency of desk work were supported, but the level of utilization was insufficient. The quality level of the app, including the level of consumers' needs, has shown a wide gap between the apps. Implications: The recent development of mobile apps for hospital accessibility and consumer needs has shown a wide gap in the quality of apps, including information and aesthetic. Therefore, it is necessary to develop apps based on user interface(UI), user experience(UX) based designs that can promote the usefulness and convenience of apps while monitoring needs of consumers continuously.

  • Purpose - This paper investigates how consumers' feelings of guilt affect their preference for imported products. Choosing imported products over domestic products reveals that consumers' motivation is to improve themselves. This study also tries to examine whether choosing imported goods has a restorative effect on feelings of guilt. Design/methodology/approach - We ran two experiments to test our hypothesis. Participants were recruited in China and the data analysis software used in this study was SPSS 26.0 for analysis. Findings - The results show that consumers with guilt feelings are more likely to import products than to consume domestic products, the second result shows that choosing imported products has an effect on guilt. In addition, consumers with low self-efficacy in a guilty condition prefer imported products to domestic products. Research implications or Originality - Based on previous research that focused on how guilt activates consumers' self-improvement goals, this study shows that when consumers experience feelings of guilt, they prefer imported products to reduce their negative feelings. These findings are discussed in the light of their implications for research on consumer self-motivation and ways of coping with it.
