태양광발전시스템의 안정성을 고려한 최적 각도 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Angle Setting Considering the Stability of Photovoltaic Systems)

  • The conventional photovoltaic(PV) systems are designed the installation angle for maximizing power output by considering a geographical characteristics, weather and climate conditions such as the solar radiation and atmosphere temperature. However, the PV generators must be designed to deal with the extreme situations like typhoons, earthquakes because PV systems are exposed to the ambient conditions and external shock due to condition of PV location. Especially, the wind has relatively higher influence on the design of PV systems, in this paper we proposed the method of determining the optimal nominal dimension of the facilities, which can withstand the maximum wind pressure. By using the proposed method, we determined the optimal installation angle for the aspect stability of PV facilities and amount of power output. Moreover, we analyzed the monthly amount of power for each installation angle of PV systems, and proposed the changing strategy of installation angle by determining the optimal angle to produce maximum power for each period.

  • Recently, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) drives are widely used for industrial applications due to its high efficiency and high power factor control strategy. PMSM generally have two classifications such as the SPMSM(Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) and IPMSM(Inter Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors). IPMSA has economical merits over SPMSM in higher speed range, mechanical robustness, and higher power rate by the geometric difference. The maximum torque operation in IPMSM is realized by the current angle control which is to utilize additional reluctance torque due to a rotor saliency. In traction, spindle and compressor drives, constant power operation with higher speed range are desirable. This is simply achieved in the DC motor drives by the reduction of the field current as the speed is increased. However, in the PMSM, direct control of the magnet flux is not available. The airgap flux can be weakened by the appropriate current angle control to demagnetize. In this paper, the control method of optimal current vector in IPMSM is described in order to obtain the maximum torque or maximum output with the speed and load variations. The applied algorithm is realized by the proto system with torque and speed control Experimental results show this approach is satisfied for the high performance servo applications. 관류홴의 최대유량역에서 설계인자 변화에 따른 공력성능 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Aerodynamic Performance Characteristics for Various Design Factors in the Maximum Flowrate Range of a Cross-Flow Fan)

  • The aerodynamic performance of an indoor room air-conditioner using a cross-flow fan is strongly influenced by the various design factors of a rear-guider and a stabilizer. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of a rear-guider and a stabilizer on the aerodynamic performance in the maximum flowrate range of a cross-flow fan. The design factors considered in this study are a rear-guider clearance, a stabilizer cutoff clearance, and a stabilizer setup angle, respectively. Aerodynamic performances including maximum flowrate and power show the biggest magnitude distribution in the case of $45^{\circ}$, the stabilizer setup angle as well as nearly similar magnitude distribution regardless of the stabilizer cutoff clearances. Moreover, the more a rear-guider clearance increases, the more the magnitude of maximum flowrate and power increases.

비소음 측정을 이용한 저소음 축류홴 설계 (Design of Low Noise Axial Flow Fan Using Specific Sound Presssure Level)

  • Experimental investigation was conducted to study the effects of pitch angle maximum camber on the performance and noise of an axial-flow fan used in outdoor-unit of air -conditioner. For this study the axial-flow fan whose pitch angle can be varied was made and the Specific sound Pressure Level and other coefficients were measured using the anechoic fan tester. It is found that pitch angle affects more severly than the maximum camber on the fan performance. On the while the maximum camber affects much on the specific sound power level. Present results show that it is important to choose the optimum pitch angle and maximum camber to design the high-performance and low-noise axial-flow fan and specific noise measured in the anechoic fan tester can be sued effectively for the design of low-noise fan.

  • This paper presents a modeling and simulation of a utility-connected wind energy conversion system with a link of a rectifier and an inverter. It discusses the maximum power control algorithm for the wind turbine and presents the relationship of wind turbine output, rotor speed, power coefficient, tip-speed ratio and wind speed when the wind turbine is operated under the maximum power control algorithm. The control objective is to extract maximum power from wind and transfer the power to the utility. This is achieved by controlling the pitch angle of the wind turbine blades. Pitch control method is mechanically complicated, but the control performance is better than that of the stall regulation method. The simulation results performed on MATLAB will show the variation of generator's rotor speed, pitch angle, and generator output.

A Study on the Performance Analysis of Francis Hydraulic Turbine

  • The effects of varying the inlet flow angle on the output power of a Francis hydraulic turbine were studied numerically and the result was compared to the experimental results conducted at Korea Institute of Energy Research to determine the brake power of the turbine for each set of operating conditions. The loss of mechanical power of the model turbine was determined by comparing the numerical and experimental results, and thus the turbine efficiency or energy conversion efficiency of the model turbine could be estimated. From the result, it was found that the maximum brake efficiency of the turbine is approximately 46% at an induced angle of 35 degrees. The maximum indicated mechanical efficiency of the turbine is approximately 93% at an induced angle of 25~30 degrees.

  • In this study, we analyze the maximum power generation of photovoltaic(PV) module depending on constituent materials and incidence angle dependence of light. To verify characteristics of constituent materials, we made photovoltaic modules with 4 kinds of solar cells and textured glass according to fabrication method. To find the degree of the maximum power generation dependence on intensity of light, Solar Simulator is applied by changing angle of module and light intensity. Through this experiment, to obtain maximum power generation from limited PV modules, it is needed to fully understand constituent materials, fabrication method and dependence of incident light characteristics.

SRM의 최대 토크 운전을 위한 자기동조 제어 (Maximum Torque Operation of SRM by using a Self-tuning Control Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 SRM의 최대 토크 운전을 위한 자기동조 제어방법을 연구하였다. SRM은 비선형적인 특성이 강하여 해석적인 방법으로 특성을 고찰하거나 속도 및 토크 제어가 어려운 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 최대 토크 운전을 위한 적절한 턴-온/오프각 제어를 자기동조방식(self-tuning method)에 의해 결정하는 방식을 제안하였다. 그리고 턴-온/오프각을 제어하기 위해 귀환되는 신호는 각각 엔코더 펄스수와 상전류의 증분값을 사용하였으며, 운전 중에 스스로 적절한 턴-오프각을 먼저 추종하고 다음으로 턴-온각을 추종하게 된다. 턴-온/오프각은 서로 종속적인 관계에 있으므로 최대 토크 값을 유지하기 위한 턴-온/오프각을 실시간 자기동조방식으로 제어하였으며, 실험을 통해 제안된 방식이 타당함을 확인하였다.

  • Voltage-controlled voltage source inverter (VCVSI) based distributed generation systems (DGS) using renewable energy sources (RES) is becoming increasingly popular as grid support systems in both remote isolated grids as well as end of rural distribution lines. In VCVSI based DGS for load voltage stabilization, the power angle between the VCVSI output voltage and the grid is an important design parameter because it affects not only the power flow and the power factor of the grid but also the capacity of the grid, the sizing of the decoupling inductor and the VCVSI. In this paper, the steady state modeling and analysis in terms of power flow and power demand of the each component in the system at the different values of maximum power angle is presented. System design considerations are examined for various load and grid conditions. Experimental results conducted on a I KVA VCVSI based DGS prove the analysis and simulation results.

  • 동력경운깅가 일반 경사지에서 견인주행하는 경우 견인주행성능과 주행특성을 구명하기 위하여 토양의 종류 및 상태는 일정하게 하고 지면의 기하학적 조건과 견인주행속도 및 견인하중을 변수로 하여 외부동력전달계의 시점인 좌우차륜과 토양간에 발생하는 차륜구동력 및 굴름정항과 Engine에서 구동륜까지 내부전달계를 통하여 전달된 동력의 이론치와 실험치와의 부합여부를 검정하고 부가적으로 동력경운기가 경사지기계화의 동력기로써의 가능성여부와 문제점을 찾으려한다.
