  • This study developed the learning criteria for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics to establish the theoretical background of the education pursued by STEAM. The learning criteria was developed on a basis of 6 kinds of Technology Home Economics textbooks by 2009 Amended Curriculum, and the factors of STEAM were extracted according to related contents. From the results of this study, the unit 'Dress and Self-expression' assimilated T.E.A.M with learning related to clothing psychology, consumer behavior, fashion design, and Korean fashion. The unit 'eco-friendly clothing and fixing clothes' was found to assimilate S.T.E.A.M. with learning related to clothes science and dress structure. Accordingly we can understand this unit also consists of the S. T. E. A. M assimilation such as clothes science, fashion marketing, dress structure, dress aesthetics, design and so on. Both units 'dress and self-expression' and 'eco-friendly clothing and fixing clothes' were found to consist of suggesting situations, creative planning and emotional experience following the learning criteria of STEAM. Therefore, these units will be the basic material for developing STEAM programs centering upon 'Home Economics' among the curriculum.

  • A graph G is called to be a 2-degree integral subgraph of a q-tree if it is obtained by deleting an edge e from an integral subgraph that is contained in exactly q - 1 triangles. An added-vertex q-tree G with n vertices is obtained by taking two vertices u, v (u, v are not adjacent) in a q-trees T with n - 1 vertices such that their intersection of neighborhoods of u, v forms a complete graph $K_{q}$, and adding a new vertex x, new edges xu, xv, $xv_{1},\;xv_{2},\;{\cdots},\;xv_{q-4}$, where $\{v_{1},\;v_{2},\;{\cdots},\;v_{q-4}\}\;{\subseteq}\;K_{q}$. In this paper we prove that a graph G with minimum degree not equal to q - 3 and chromatic polynomial $$P(G;{\lambda})\;=\;{\lambda}({\lambda}-1)\;{\cdots}\;({\lambda}-q+2)({\lambda}-q+1)^{3}({\lambda}-q)^{n-q-2}$$ with $n\;{\geq}\;q+2$ has and only has 2-degree integral subgraph of q-tree with n vertices and added-vertex q-tree with n vertices.

  • (G, <) is an ordered group if'<'is a total order relation on G in which f < g implies that xfy < xgy for all f, g, x, y $\in$ G. We say that (G, <) is centrally ordered if (G, <) is ordered and [G,D] $\subseteq$ C for every convex jump C $\prec$ D in G. Equivalently, if $f^{-1}g f{\leq} g^2$ for all f, g $\in$ G with g > 1. Every order on a torsion-free locally nilpotent group is central. We prove that if every order on every two-generator subgroup of a locally soluble orderable group G is central, then G is locally nilpotent. We also provide an example of a non-nilpotent two-generator metabelian orderable group in which all orders are central.

  • The rule of the game of Chomp is simple and the existence of a winning strategy can easily be proved. However, the existence tells us nothing about what strategies are winning in reality. Like in Chess or Baduk, many researchers studied the winning moves using computer programs, but no general patterns for the winning actions have not been found. In the paper, we aim to construct practical winning strategies based on backward induction. To do this we develop how to analyze Chomp and prove and find the winning strategies of the simple games of Chomp.

  • Dealing with uncertainty is always a challenging problem. Intuitionistic fuzzy sets was presented to manage situations in which experts have some membership and non-membership value to assess an alternative. Hesitant fuzzy sets was used to handle such situations in which experts hesitate between several possible membership values to assess an alternative. In this paper, the concept of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set is introduced to provide computational basis to manage the situations in which experts assess an alternative in possible membership values and non-membership values. Distance measure is defined between any two intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy elements. Fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution is developed for intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set to solve multi-criteria decision making problem in group decision environment. An example is given to illustrate this technique.

  • This paper proposes some diagnostics procedures for the skew-t linear regression model with censored response. The skew-t distribution is an attractive family of asymmetrical heavy-tailed densities that includes the normal, skew-normal and student's-t distributions as special cases. Inspired by the power and wide applicability of the EM-type algorithm, local and global influence analysis, based on the conditional expectation of the complete-data log-likelihood function are developed, following Zhu and Lee's approach. For the local influence analysis, four specific perturbation schemes are discussed. Two real data sets, from education and economics, which are right and left censoring, respectively, are analyzed in order to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed methodology.

  • In this paper, a class of delayed predator-prey models of prey migration and predator switching is considered. By analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation, its linear stability is investigated and Hopf bifurcation is demonstrated. Some explicit formulae for determining the stability and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using the normal form theory and center manifold theory. Some numerical simulations for justifying the theoretical analysis are also provided. Finally, biological explanations and main conclusions are given.

  • We give an explicit formula for the Mordell-Weil rank of an abelian fibered variety and some of its applications for an abelian fibered $hyperk{\ddot{a}}hler$ manifold. As a byproduct, we also give an explicit example of an abelian fibered variety in which the Picard number of the generic fiber in the sense of scheme is different from the Picard number of generic closed fibers.

  • This study provides a nonparametric procedure for the statistical inference of the parameters in stationary autoregressive processes. A confidence region and a hypothesis testing procedure based on a class of signed linear rank statistics are proposed and the asymptotic distributions of the test statistic both underthe null hypothesis and under a sequence of local alternatives are investigated. Some desirable asymptotic properties including the asymptotic relative efficiency are discussed for various score functions.
