수학적 사고의 발달 메커니즘에 기초한 교과서 분석 연구 (An Analysis of Mathematics Textbook on the Developmental Mechanism of Mathematical Thinking)

  • 수학적 사고는 많은 학자들의 관심사항이었으며 지속적으로 강조되고 있는 주제 중 하나이다. 특히 우리나라 수학과 교육과정에서는 학생들의 수학적 사고 신장을 위한 교수 학습을 강조하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수학적 사고의 발달 메커니즘을 정의하고 이를 중심으로 하여 2007 개정 수학과 교육과정에 따른 수학 교과서를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 수학 교과서 집필자 와 수학 교사는 학습해야 할 개념이 개념의 발달 과정의 어느 위치에 있는 개념이며, 어떠한 과정으로 발생하는지에 대한 면밀한 분석을 할 필요가 있으며, 이러한 요소를 반영되기 위해서 학습해야 할 개념과 관련된 개념의 흐름을 학생들에게 제시하고, '개념 만들기' 등과 같이 미래의 학습 개념을 추측해 볼 수 있는 활동을 제공해야 한다는 결론을 얻었다.

  • Lehmann [13] introduced the concept of positive(negative) dependence together with some other dependence concepts. Since then, a great numerous multivariate inequalities have been obtained. For a references of available results, see Karlin and Rinott [12], Ebrahimi and Ghosh [8] and Sampson [14]. Whereas a number of dependence notions exist for multivariate processes (see Friday [10]), recently, Ebrahimi [7] introduced some new dependence concepts of the hitting times of stochastic processes.

On left, right weakly prime ideals on po-semigroups

  • Normality is one of the most common assumptions made in sampling and statistical inference procedures without suffering from lack of attention. Its results may lead to an invalid conclusion. We present several testing procedures that can be used to evaluate the effects of departure from normality using concrete examples by hand or with the aid of Minitab. The goal is to influence prospective teachers in order to learn statistical concepts and techniques for testing normality on the basis of the didactical theory.

  • In this research article, we introduce certain concepts, including domination, total domination, strong domination, weak domination, edge domination and total edge domination in m-polar fuzzy graphs. We describe these concepts by several examples. We investigate some related properties of certain dominations in m-polar fuzzy graphs. We also present a decision making method based on domination in m-polar fuzzy graphs.

  • As a generalizaton of the concepts of fuzzy strongly semiopen sets and fuzzy strongly semicontinuous maps, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy strongly r-semiopen sets and fuzzy strongly r-semicontinuous maps in fuzzy topology. Also we introduce fuzzy r-semicontinuous and fuzzy r-semiclosure. By these concept, we characterize fuzzy strongly r-semicontinuous, fuzzy strongly r-semiopen and fuzzy strongly r-semiclosed maps.

Piaget의 의미로서 무게와 무거움의 차이에 대하여 (On the difference between 'weight' and "heaviness' in the sense of Piaget)

  • The article shows that the concept 'weight' and the concept 'heaviness' give rise to different abstractions in the sense of Piaget and that these two concepts are differentiated by set-theoretic devices. The failure of differentiation of these two concepts 'weight' and the 'heaviness' can cause the failure of learning of the difference between reflective abstraction and empirical reflective abstraction. To explain the Piagetian abstrcation in a classroom, the author suggests to use the concept 'color' instead of the concept 'weigtht'.

  • Over the years, the benefits of instructional manipulatives in mathematics education have been verified by classroom practice and educational research. The purpose of this paper is to introduce how the instructional material, specifically, geoboard could be used and integrated in elementary mathematics classroom in order to develop student's mathematical concepts and process in terms of the following areas: (1) Number '||'&'||' Operation : counting, fraction '||'&'||' additio $n_traction/multiplication (2) Geometry : geometric concepts (3) Geometry : symmetry '||'&'||' motion (4) Measurement : area '||'&'||' perimeter (5) Probability '||'&'||' Statistics : table '||'&'||' graph (6) Pattern : finding patterns Further, future study will continue to foster how manipulatives will enhance children's mathematics knowledge and influence on their mathematics performance.

SOME RESULTS ON IFP NEAR-RINGS

  • In this paper, we begin with to introduce the concepts of IFP and strong IFP in near-rings and then give some characterizations of IFP in near-rings. Next we derive reversible IFP, and then equivalences of the concepts of strong IFP and strong reversibility. Finally, we obtain some conditions to become strong IFP in right permutable near-rings and strongly reversible near-rings.
