The Influence of Entrepreneurial Competences on Corporate Performance of Technology-based Start-ups (창업가역량과 창업보육 프로그램 지원이 기술창업기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향 : 창업기업 역량의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • Many countries around the world are pursuing various support policies to foster start-ups national widely in order to secure new economic growth engines in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The South Korean government announced the diffusion strategy for the 2'nd round Start-up Boom in March 2019 and is promoting the support policies for start-up incubating by various programs. Many incubators and startup accelerators operate various kinds of programs to foster start-ups using government financial supports. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of entrepreneurship and technical capability of entrepreneurs as the internal factors of the technology-based start-ups and the effects of programs supported by the government as an external factor on the corporate performance of a start-up company, and the mediating effects of core competence of start-ups were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. The results show that the entrepreneurship, technical capability and the programs supported by incubators or accelerators had no direct effects on the corporate performance of a start-up, but the core competence of the company had complete mediating effects. In addition, the type of program supported by the comprehensive accelerator programs or the marketing supports had effects on the core competence rather than simple financial supports. Lastly, the policy proposals for incubating program support and future research directions along with the limitation are suggested.

  • Many researcher contended that the tourism types of modern society has changed to 'experience tourism' from 'seeing tourism' recently. Therefore attempts to add edutainment factors in the original tour program has been introduced in cases of tourism cave. As we can see the Hwaam-cave in Jungsun-gun, by preparing with various pavilions which are well-matched with tourism cave. So, the purpose of this study is to the presentations of the activation programs that having on characteristics of edutainment tourism resources for tourism cave. Thus, first of all for establishing of this study, we examined the characteristics and values as tourism resources of cave and then observed the roles and examples of edutainment tourism cave, finally suggested.

  • Hotel review data can extract various information that includes purchasing factors that lead to consumption, advantages, and disadvantages for hotels. In particular, the sentiment keyword of the review data helps consumers understand the pros and cons of hotels. However, it is not efficient for consumers to read a large number of reviews. Therefore, it is necessary to offer a summary review to customers. In this study, we suggest providing summary information on sentiment keywords association as well as a network of hotels based on sentiment keywords. Based on a sentiment keyword dictionary, the extracted sentiment keywords associations construct the hotel network through topological data analysis based mapper. This hotel network allows a consumer to find some hotels associated with specific sentiment keywords as well as recommends the same related hotels. This summary information provides users with a summarized emotional assessment of hotels and helps hotel marketing teams understand consumers' perceptions of their hotel.

  • This paper explores the benefits provided by the adoption and implementation of electronic commerce in a particular SME-intensive productive environment: the geographical cluster. This study develops a conceptual framework that highlights the six types of benefits obtained by integrating online business with offline business. Using data from 73 traditional companies in Korean port clusters, factor analysis was used to figure out six benefits including sharing information, cost savings, value-added service, customer relationship, enhanced trust, and marketing efficiency. The six empirically derived critical benefit factors were then used to examine how they improve management performance of the traditional offline companies in the cluster measured by Balanced Scorecard(BSC). According to the results, we concluded that the offline firms in the cluster can take advantages of extending to online business.

  • In recent years, the retail industry has been undergoing major shifts. Outlet malls are an important part of the new retail landscape. This paper seeks to increase the understanding of the shopping experiences of visitors to a Premium outlet shopping mall in Shinsagae Chelsea Premium Outlet at Paju City, Gyeongi-do. This paper analyze the Element of the premium outlet across demographics. It explores seven critical factors which significantly influence customers' perceptions of premium outlet. Findings are base on a mall intercept survey with 292 respondents across a range of demographics. The summary of 7 factor is classified as the visual, location, Shopping support, human traces, mood, transit expedience, and tenant. The main implication of these findings is that factory outlet stores are perceived favourably and that they need to build more positive marketing strategies accordingly.

  • The competition for telecommunication-broadcasting bundle is under full steam. Even large mobile OS companies like Apple and Google are showing signs of moving into the telecom and broadcasting industry, and it is expected that competition for bundle will become even fiercer. In the light of this situation, this study will show which factors can heighten purchasing intention for bundle and lower expected-discounting rates, seeking its answer in the quality, satisfaction, and brand loyalty to core product. The results of the study show that the brand loyalty to core product affects the customer's purchasing intention positively while lowering expected-discounting rates. This conclusion suggests the importance of a marketing strategy that heightens satisfaction of existing customers who use a single item, which is just as important as strategies to induce switching behavior of the customers of other companies through competitive pricing. Also, the results suggest that rather than appeal to loyal customers through discounts, it is more effective to offer them different benefits or value.

Study on Factors Affecting Effects of Online Behavioral Advertising (온라인 맞춤형 광고 효과에 미치는 요인들 연구)

  • One important online marketing practice to emerge in recent years is online behavioral advertising. Online behavioral advertising entails a range of issues, including the following: personal information collection and usage agreements (three conditions: no agreement, agreement, or agreement with a reward), consumers' levels of perceived personalization (low vs. high), and consumers' level of online privacy concerns (low vs. high). The effects of all these is what this study is designed to examine, as it evaluates online behavioral advertising. Study findings suggest that types of information collection and usage agreement play a pivotal role in the evaluation of online behavioral ads. Individuals who provided the informed consent form with the possible reward had a more favorable attitude toward the brand than individuals who provided the informed consent form without a possible reward. In terms of personalization, the level of perceived personalization of the advertising message impacted consumers' attitudes toward the online behavioral ad and toward the brand. Finally, online privacy concerns appear to impact consumers' attitudes toward the online behavioral ad and toward the brand. Theoretical and practical implications are also discussed.

  • This study highlighted influences which affect purchase intention of audience to viewing performance. And after grouping audience types by applying the cluster analysis to samples which are collected by survey, this study examined how purchase intentions influence audience to viewing performance by each audience type. Thus, to improve the reliability to classify audience type, the sample was selected by considering neither age group nor previous experience of viewing performance arts. Factor analysis and reliability analysis was performed to analyze the effect of purchase intention according to the type of audience. And we used AMOS program to verify using SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) how affect it was with moderating variable of audience type. Through surveying and analyzing th results, we confirmed that viewing motivation and quality of performing work have significant effect on purchase intention and significant moderating effect according to audience type. Therefore, we contribute to make suitable strategy that they figure out audience type, when performing art organizations make marketing strategy.

  • The objectives of this study are to understand the factors composing the attributes of mobile social-commerce shopping mall and the characteristics of shopping mall business, and also to verify the effects of those attributes on the shopping satisfaction and shopping mall loyalty. The respondents participating in this study are the consumers who have experiences in purchasing fashion clothing in mobile social-commerce shopping mall within the last one year. The results of this study are as follows. First, the personally-customized service and convenience of shopping mall had positive effects on the social-commerce shopping satisfaction. Second, the personally-customized service and diversity of products had positive effects on the shopping mall loyalty. Third, the reputation of shopping mall of the characteristics of social-commerce shopping mall business had positive effects on the shopping satisfaction and shopping mall loyalty. This study above could provide the important implications for the establishment of marketing strategies for vitalizing the fashion clothing market of social-commerce shopping mall.

Consumer characteristics of Body Mass Index groups, and the effect of body satisfaction and self-esteem on the involvement in dieting among females aged 25-49 years (25-49세 여성의 Body Mass Index 수준에 따른 소비자 특성과 신체만족도 및 자아존중감이 다이어트 관여도에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is to explore diverse characteristics of females aged 25 to 49 years grouped according to Body Mass Index(BMI), and to investigate the effect of body satisfaction and self-esteem on involvement in dieting within each BMI group. In total, 549 females who participated in an online survey were divided into groups based on BMI(underweight, normal, and overweight). Results demonstrated three key factors, as follows. First, differences were identified among BMI groups according to demographic characteristics(age, household income, and marital status), although no difference according to education level was found. Second, differences according to BMI groups were found in body satisfaction and involvement in dieting, whereas were not found in self-esteem. Third, model testing for each BMI group showed, a positive correlation between body satisfaction and self-esteem in all three groups. However, there was a difference in causal relationships among variable across BMI groups. Body satisfaction negatively affected and self-esteem positively affected involvement in dieting for the underweight and normal groups, whereas there was no causal relationship between variables in the overweight group. Based on these results, basic information of groups segmented by the level of BMI was obtained, which could be used for both academic and practical implications.
