Process mining has generally analyzed the default logs of Information Systems such as SAP ERP, but as the use of automation software called RPA expands, the logs by RPA bots can be utilized. In this study, the actual status of RPA automation in the field was identified by applying RPA bots to the work of three domestic manufacturing companies (cosmetic field) and analyzing them after leaving logs. Using Uipath and Python, we implemented RPA bots and wrote logs. We used Disco, a software dedicated to process mining to analyze the bot logs. As a result of log analysis in two aspects of bot utilization and performance through process mining, improvement requirements were found. In particular, we found that there was a point of improvement in all cases in that the utilization of the bot and errors or exceptions were found in many cases of process. Our approach is very scientific and empirical in that it analyzes the automation status and performance of bots using data rather than existing qualitative methods such as surveys or interviews. Furthermore, our study will be a meaningful basic step for bot behavior optimization, and can be seen as the foundation for ultimately performing process management.

OSC is drawing attention to supplement limitations such as productivity problems and on-site safety and quality problems of existing on-site labor-oriented construction production methods. In order to activate the introduction and use of OSC in the domestic construction market, it is important to innovate the technology applied to each stage of OSC process (design and engineering, factory manufacturing, site assembly, and maintenance), but it is also necessary to develop a project management method suitable for OSC method. However, research related to OSC currently being conducted in Korea is mainly in terms of related technology development, and research on deriving project management measures for the success of OSC projects is insufficient. Therefore, it is time for research on deriving a project management plan based on the core success factors of the OSC project. Therefore, by conducting importance-performance analysis on 69 OSC critical success factors derived from the previous study, the study was conducted to derive key improvement factors for OSC introduction and utilization improvement and to provide implications for this. The results of this study are expected to have useful implications for the R&D planning and policy-making process for OSC activation in the future.
Purpose - Carbon emission standards are based on the "production-based carbon emissions" generated by the production of goods in the relevant country which were the existing measurement methods. However, can such carbon emissions measurement standards be established international? For example, some of the goods produced in developing countries are produced for the demand of developed countries. The method of measuring carbon emission based on the final demand of a certain country is called "consumption-based carbon emissions." This study compares productionand consumption-based CO2 emissions according to economic growth in ninety-three countries categorized by income level. Design/methodology - Our empirical model considers the difference between production- and consumption-based CO2 emissions according to economic growth. Also, our model investigated whether the EKC hypothesis in most of the previous studies that had been based on production-based emissions was also established in the consumption-based emission model. Considering the continuous characteristics of CO2, we utilized the generalized method of moments (GMM), specifically a system GMM econometric technique because CO2 in the previous period can affect CO2 in the present period. Findings - Our main findings can be summarized as follows: The results show that for the consumption-based CO2 emissions model, CO2 continuously increases as economic growth increases in the upper-middle income countries. The inverted U-shaped result was found in the case of the production-based model. However, in the lower-income countries, an inverted-U shape in which CO2 emissions decrease at some point as the economy grows in the production-based model does not appear. On the other hand, in the consumption-based model, an inverted U-shaped result was obtained when estimating with system-GMM. Additionally, the proportion of manufacturing, energy imports, and energy consumption had an effect on both the production- and the consumption-based model regardless of the group's CO2 emissions. On the basis of such assessments, policymakers need to consider not only production- but also consumption-based options. Originality/value - Previous studies have mainly focused on production-based CO2 emissions, with most of them revolving around economic growth or the effect of various social and economic factors on CO2 emissions. However, this study considers the relationship with economic growth using consumption-based emissions as a dependent variable by classifying ninety-three countries by income level.
A new phenomenon in recent trade is the rising interest in the trade of product production and manufacturing methods themselves, unlike in the past, when the interest was focused on the trade of tangible goods. That is, technology is considered as the object of trade instead of a simple element of production as "technology itself is commercialized". The broad meaning of technology encompasses all the property of knowledge with economic value. Its narrow meaning refers to technology used to produce and manufacture goods. Technologies have features such as no forms, heterogeneity, accumulation of value and extinction of right. The trade of technology commands different styles and content from that of tangible goods due to their unique characteristics; and accordingly, has various risk factors. In other words, technology can be traded in various ways according to commercial objectives including licensing, technical partnership, and joint investment in addition to general trading. The specific forms of technology transfer strategies depend on the purposes and situations between corporations. In case of technical trade with any form, the parties should be cautious about the following practical aspects: First, the contract should clearly define the scope and transfer method of technology. It is a very important matter how the provider of technology will provide the user of technology with abstract technology with no substantiality. Second, a monopoly on technology recognized as intellectual property rights is granted to their inventors for some periods of time, but anyone can have access to that technology after the term of existence. Thus, it is important to check the terms of existence of a patent as well as the terms of contract. Third, the user of technology should fulfill his confidentiality obligation to prevent the technology of the provider from being leaked to a third party unjustly. Fourth, the provider of technology should make a contribution to the successful implementation of the technology by the user as well as provide the licensed technology. Finally, a model contract is recommended to minimizing the legal hiatus of complex technology transfer trade when concluding a contract.

The installation of the elevator ARD(Automatic Rescue Device) system has been forced into law in these days in order to safely rescue passengers during power failure. The configuration of the ARD system consists of energy storage device, power converter and control systems. The EDLC(Electric Double Layer Capacitor) are used as energy storage device for rapid charge/discharge purposes. The power conditioning system (PCS) consists of bi-directional converter, 3-phase converter and control system. The dead-beat control system is adopted for most systems however it requires complex mathematical calculations, the high performance microprocessors are mandatory and thus it can be a cause of high manufacturing cost. In this paper the new control method for average current mode control is presented for simple structure. The control algorithm is applied to the single phase system and then expands to three phase system to meet the sysem requirements. The mathematical modeling using average modeling method is presented and analysed by PSIM computer simulation to verifie the validity of the proposed control methods.

This study introduces the development of a precast concrete double-wall, applicable to basement construction in apartment buildings. Unlike traditional precast concrete double walls, the developed double-wall doesn't require specialized manufacturing equipment such as a lathe. The constructability of these advanced technologies was validated through a full-scale mock-up test using the precast concrete double wall. The test specimens were constructed to represent a structural wall with a thickness of 250mm. It was observed that the quality of the in-situ concrete, filled between two single panels of 110mm thickness each, was excellent. The construction efficiency of the developed double-wall system for basement construction in an apartment building was also examined. Expert interviews about installation times of precast concrete elements were conducted to evaluate the speed of the basement floor's installation. The results showed that installation of precast concrete elements, including the proposed double walls, could be completed within 20 to 29 days for a basement in an apartment building. This indicates a three-fold increase in construction efficiency compared to traditional methods relying on in-situ casting.
Objectives: A mobile health intervention program was provided for employees with overweight and obesity for 12 weeks, and a process evaluation was completed at the end of the program. We investigated participant engagement based on app usage data, and whether engagement was associated with the degree of satisfaction with the program. Methods: The program involved the use of a dietary coaching app and a wearable device for monitoring physical activity and body composition. A total of 235 employees participated in the program. App usage data were collected from a mobile platform, and a questionnaire survey on process evaluation and needs assessment was conducted during the post-test. Results: The engagement level of the participants decreased over time. Participants in their 40s, high school graduates or lower education, and manufacturing workers showed higher engagement than other age groups, college graduates, and office workers, respectively. The overall satisfaction score was 3.6 out of 5. When participants were categorized into three groups according to their engagement level, the upper group was more satisfied than the lower group. A total of 71.5% of participants answered that they wanted to rejoin or recommend the program, and 71.9% answered that the program was helpful in improving their dietary habits. The most helpful components in the program were diet records and a 1:1 chat with the dietary coach from the dietary coaching app. The barriers to improving dietary habits included company dinners, special occasions, lack of time, and eating out. The workplace dietary management programs were recognized as necessary with a need score of 3.9 out of 5. Conclusions: Participants were generally satisfied with the mobile health intervention program, particularly highly engaged participants. Feedback from a dietary coach was an important factor in increasing satisfaction.

The quality control of coarse aggregate among aggregates, which are the main ingredients of concrete, is currently carried out by SPC(Statistical Process Control) method through sampling. We construct a smart factory for manufacturing innovation by changing the quality control of coarse aggregates to inspect the coarse aggregates based on this image by acquired images through the camera instead of the current sieve analysis. First, obtained images were preprocessed, and HED(Hollistically-nested Edge Detection) which is the filter learned by deep learning segment each object. After analyzing each aggregate by image processing the segmentation result, fineness modulus and the aggregate shape rate are determined by analyzing result. The quality of aggregate obtained through the video was examined by calculate fineness modulus and aggregate shape rate and the accuracy of the algorithm was more than 90% accurate compared to that of aggregates through the sieve analysis. Furthermore, the aggregate shape rate could not be examined by conventional methods, but the content of this paper also allowed the measurement of the aggregate shape rate. For the aggregate shape rate, it was verified with the length of models, which showed a difference of ±4.5%. In the case of measuring the length of the aggregate, the algorithm result and actual length of the aggregate showed a ±6% difference. Analyzing the actual three-dimensional data in a two-dimensional video made a difference from the actual data, which requires further research.

In the current era of the global mobile smart device revolution, electronic devices are required in all spaces that people interact with. The establishment of the internet of things (IoT) among smart devices has been recognized as a crucial objective to advance towards creating a comfortable and sustainable future society. In-mold electronic (IME) processes have gained significant industrial significance due to their ability to utilize conventional high-volume methods, which involve printing functional inks on 2D substrates, thermoforming them into 3D shapes, and injection-molded, manufacturing low-cost, lightweight, and functional components or devices. In this article, we provide an overview of IME and its latest advances in application. We review biomimetic nanomaterials for constructing self-supporting biosensor electronic materials on the body, energy storage devices, self-powered devices, and bio-monitoring technology from the perspective of in-mold electronic devices. We anticipate that IME device technology will play a critical role in establishing a human-machine interface (HMI) by converging with the rapidly growing flexible printed electronics technology, which is an integral component of the fourth industrial revolution.
The proportion of plant-based meat alternative (PBMA) consumers has recently increased in Korea. This is due to several reasons including protecting the environment, satisfying preferences, maintaining health, and improving eating habits. Accordingly, many companies produce and sell alternative meat using various materials. Alternative meats are classified into plant (such as soybeans and wheat), seaweed, insect, and cultured meats, depending on the raw materials used in manufacturing. PBMA is sold after undergoing processes such as grinding, seasoning, and molding. Therefore, monitoring the presence of any hazardous elements during this process is essential. Accordingly, in this study, we analyzed the harmful components of nine domestically distributed PBMA that are most easily accessible to consumers. After extracting fat from the samples and analyzing the rancidity level, samples F, G, and I were highly rancid. Trace amounts of aflatoxin were detected in samples A and B, but confirmed to be within the range. Cd and Pb were not detected in any sample. We hope that this study will help establish methods to ensure the safety of domestically sold PBMA.
