The purpose of this study was to identify the management of nutrition programs in kindergarten and the implementation of educational activities during snack and lunch times. The study also investigated early childhood teachers' understanding of the management of the nutrition program. 259 early childhood teachers responded to a questionnaire developed by the researchers. It was found that there was no effort to provide educational activities through snack and lunch times, implying the necessity of inservice training programs for early childhood teachers.

In this paper, we propose a non-edge following method for linear programs. Unlike alledged poor performance of algorithms of this type, this method performs well at least with 25 randomly generated problems. This method is comparable to Rosen's gradient projection method as applied to the dual formulation. The latter is of general purpose, and no implementation rules are available for linear program applications. This paper suggests ways of finding improving dual feasible directions, and of allowing to move across the extreme faces of a higher dimension polyhedron. Rather simple computational rules are provided for projection operations needed at each iteration.

Purpose: This study was performed to develop the case management program that can provide the qualitative health care service to satisfy the increasing needs for health care elderly and prevent the increase in medical cost cased by prolonged and repetitive hospitalization. Method: The survey was completed as follows. First, 290 elderly patients who would be soon discharged in 4 hospitals are participated in the survey on needs of nursing care and case management programs. Second, 70 professionals working at 5 hospitals including doctors, nurses, social workers and so on are participated in the survey on the case management team operation. Result: Level of needs to Nursing care and case management programs showed so high. Professionals suggested on the case management team operation. Finally, based on the survey and literature review, the case management program was developed. Conclusion: In this study, the specific models for the five case management services were suggested. It is thought that the service provision by the case management team based on the multi-disciplinary case management program model suggested in this study would be suggested as a constituent of the effective health care delivery system for the hospitalized elderly patients.

This study analyzed Korean edu-care programs for young children, including such parameters as educational planning and management, instructional materials, health, social life, expressiveness, language, and discovery. Using a questionnaire consisting of 170 items developed for the study, 830 parents evaluated the programs of 200 day care centers which their young children were attending Results showed that the programs serving children from birth through 2 years of age need to be better tailored to their developmental level by months of age, and the quality of programs for 3- to 5-year-olds needs to be enhanced. Suggestions were presented for the improvement of edu-care programs.

The government expands its investment on R&D programs for economic growth, thus there is growing attention on the result of R&D Programs. This study proposes more improved measuring method for efficiency when the number of R&D programs is not enough to be for measuring efficiency analysis. It provides more various application method of factors on efficiency analysis. This study analyzes the influence of each input factor on efficiency by using partial efficiency concept. And it also determines input factors in similar influence throughout Spearman correlation coefficient. Finally, it suggests new method to improve discriminatory power of efficiency analysis by determining representative factors. Also, the proposed method can be practiced not only for national R&D programs, but also for other fields of research.

The purpose of the present paper is to review the content of the Consumer Education Programs, is to establish a hypothetical model regarding the contents of the consumer Education programs, and is also to analyze the contents of the Consumer Education Programs seen from the various angles of the value of our home life. For this, we have researched literatures and habe made the hypothetical model for the desirable contents of the consumer education programs, and also have conducted a case study together with and analysis bearing the actual evidence. Form what we have studied regarding the results of the research, conclusions that can be derived are as follows; First, the contents of the consumer education programs of Korea are not sufficient to improve the quality of the environments of our houses, family life, and decision making. Secondly, the contents of the consumer education do not meet the societal and economic changes. Third, since the contents of the consumer program of Korea emphasize the theory-oriented discussion, they are not suitable to educate the consumers who are really in need of consumer education.

The purpose of this research was to examine the experiences of three types of family-friendly workplace professionals (professionals here after) including consultants, certification auditors, and professional instructors, and to provide suggestions for the improvement of training programs aimed at such professionals. Ten professionals participated in focus group interviews. Two themes were identified: the competencies of the professionals and ways to improve the training system and the curriculums of training programs. Competencies are dependent on job type. Therefore, different training programs should be provided to the three types of professionals. To make training programs more comprehensive, most participants agreed that training program curriculums for the three types of professionals should link together. Participants also suggested increasing training time and differentiating training programs between new and experienced specialists. In terms of improving the training system, professional networking and the creation of a database for family-friendly programs were discussed. The findings suggest that training programs need to be restructured in line with the competencies required by the professionals and professionals' needs.

In terms of theory, this study differentiates the definition of collaboration management and provides the different angle to find collaboration determinants. In terms of practice, stressing the necessity of establishing and practicing the plan for collaboration management, it suggests us that promising strategies of management for inter-organizational collaboration in korean children and youth social service arena should be prepared. Through examining the theories, it is found that collaboration management like formal and informal meeting, contract, appointing the staff for collaboration is different from the former organizational factors. Collaboration management is found to be a factor accelerating the collaboration and differentiating from collaboration result itself. It is found that collaboration management factor affects the clients being refereed, providing some kinds of programs, and getting them. It means that the policy of organization which makes the staffs to participate at meetings to obtain various programs that other organizations provide, draws the agreement for collaboration, and arranges internal system for collaboration like appointing special staff activates the collaboration among organizations. Findings of this study provides us some recommendations. The efforts to develop technique, know-how, and management theory should be made in the Korean society. Organizations and the government should encourage organizations to manage the collaboration among them and make an effort to initiate policies and programs.

This study has developed a medical information management educational program that can improve the management ability of medical information. The educational medical information management program was developed for 8mnths uing VB. The database utilized the ACCESS Database, which allows learners to easily understand and understand the structure of the data. The learners enter data in the discharge analysis and the cancer registration program and the incomplete program after analyze the medical records. After entering and saving data, medical information management programs can be used to understand and analyze the structure of the database to generate medical information. The educational programs can improve the ability of learners to manage medical information by extracting the necessary data from the database directly through SQL and creating various medical information. However, although the medical information management program is an educational program, there is no evaluation system for the learners program operation. Accordingly, the next studies should develop the assessment system of the medical information management program for learners evaluation.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of agricultural management accounting information, education status, and policy demands through a questionnaire survey of advanced agricultural managers. These people are expected to play a key role in the changing agricultural environment in Korea. Based on survey results, several policy implications were derived for the advanced agricultural managers' agricultural management accounting information record activation. Survey results of 303 respondents identified that 63.4% of them record their agricultural management accounting information. The biggest reason given for not recording this information was lack of time for record keeping. The biggest problem was a 'lack of Question and Answer system'. In addition, 37.2% of the respondents were not aware of the current agricultural accounting guidelines. In terms of education, 71.3% of the respondents have completed course work in accounting and responded that an 'On-off parallel education system', which offers both online and offline classes, was the most effective method to prevent dropout. Respondents thought that agricultural management accounting records were helpful for the management of agriculture and their participation in government policies. They also thought that customized education programs should be further implemented for enhancing the effectiveness of education programs, and 'One-stop Question and Answer system on related web sites and organizations' is required for them to keep better records. The following policy implications can be derived from the survey results. First, interoperability between agricultural management accounting information recording programs is needed. Second, accessibility should be strengthened. Third, the education system needs to be improved. Fourth, voluntary participation should be encouraged. Last, the government needs to establish a post-verification system.
