This study was conducted to develop a provenance representation model for data-type electronic records. It supports the distinction between provenance and context for the creation and management of data-type electronic records. To express both, it aims to design an extensible provenance model. For this purpose, W3C PROV is utilized as a basic model, with P-Plan and ProvONE for designing prospective provenance area. Afterward, the provenance model was extended by mapping the record management requirements. The provenance model proposed in this study is designed to represent and connect both retrospective and prospective provenance of data-type electronic records. Based on this study, it is expected to discussing the concept of provenance in the records management and archival studies area and to extending the model in the future.

Recently, according with a sudden increase of records produced and stored by digital way, it becomes more important to maintain reliability and authenticity and to ensure legal effect when digital records are collected, preserved and managed. On the basis of domestic legal procedure law and record management-related legislation, this paper considered judicial admissibility of evidence on electronic records managed by National Archives of Korea and drew potential problems when these are submitted to court as a evidence. Also, this paper suggested a plan applying digital forensics technique to electronic records management to ensure admissibility of evidence about electronic records stored in National Archives of Korea.

It is very important to understand changing technological environment such as information big bang, mass production of electronic records, and emergence of many storage media for the sake of promoting reliable electronic records management system. This study examined the insufficiency of current archives acts and standards, and compared to recording storage media and related technologies. Through these analyses, this paper proposes the revision of archives acts and standards such as the expansion of types of media, the elaboration of guidance for media selection. and the efficient maintenance plan for recording media.

Mosts of export/import cargo has been moving using maritime transport means. Korea had been driven the system automation project using EDI document since the mid-1990s. However, this automation system comes upon about 40-50% against overall maritime business process, manual or paper document processing work is existing as ever. International e-business environment also has changing into electronic form document transaction from paper document-based transaction. International standardization organization, UN/CEFACT proposed UNeDocs for paperless jtransaction. UNeDocs is a specification to define XML data model as well as electronic form. With UNeDocs, it is not necessary to generate the duplexed data, and it can support user convenient and guarantee the flexibility. This paper defines the UNeDocs data model for EDI and Off-Line processing at the current maritime business. Then, it have to check XML syntax and structure for the defined data model through quality of document check system. Also, it explains the applying plan about the defined UNeDocs data model. It is possible to support paperless transaction as defining UNeDocs-based standard data model and converting into paper document, XML and EDI document using UNeDocs data model.

Because the electronic book field tends to be marked by rapid changes, keeping current with the events and the literature can be difficult. The electronic book means for reading on PCs or hand-held devices were also limited by the quality of the screen. The electronic book will survive and reading devices become much cheaper and much better in quality. This paper, based on recent electronic book technologies, addresses some of the issues that are central to the acceptance and integration of electronic book into academic library. It also addresses the current electronic book environment, notes the increasing issues, details the management factors in academic library, and examines potential future electronic book directions.

In this study, group to set the military reserves has caused occasional friction. Therefore, for the protection of military bases and military facilities around the County win-win was to provide real estate management plan. This study aims to present a Braille Library document creation and management status, and to identify ways to improve. This research field surveys and interviews were conducted three institutions, the quality requirements of the ISO 15489 standards. As a result, the Braille Library document management improvement plan is as follows. First, the policy and regulatory maintenance is needed. Copy of the regulations on the creation and management, access rights and related document management policies should be developed. Second, the document creation process needs to be improved. Electronic approval system responsible for the creation of persons who are visually impaired, visually impaired people can read documents created during document creation, and introduced measures and braille labels on the files attached to will have to be prepared. Third, the document management process needs to be improved. Changes in the creation copy of the records, and preserved along with the preservation of the original and the copy to have the same period, appointed to manage one set of all copies of the authentic copy of the plan is also required. Finally, for document management system should be introduced. Systematic document management system that can be introduced is required. This system will be designed to be accessible to the visually impaired, the search.

A surface mount device (SMD) assembles electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCB). Since a component assembly process is a bottleneck process in a PCB assembly line, making an efficient SMD plan is critical in increasing the PCB assembly line productivity. Feeder assignment is an important part of the SMD plan optimization. In this paper, we propose a feeder re-assign improvement algorithm for a specific type of SMD machine with a piano type multi-head gantry. Computational results on some real-world benchmark data sets show the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm.

A collection development policy is the library's master plan that provides library's long/short-term plans. It also informs the community of the library's commitment in collection development. However, in Korea, libraries which maintain such a policy are not yet to be easily found. Furthermore, due to increasing importance of electronic resources, libraries are gradually required to have electronic resource management policy that reflects a change in the information environment. The purpose of this study is to suggest a model electronic resource management policy in academic libraries. It derived and verified more than thirty preliminary elements from literature and case studies. The elements were modified and supplemented, and as a result, the selection criteria gained the highest marks. The findings can be applied for selecting the elements of digital collection development policy in the university library and reorganizing them so as to meet its peculiarities. This study, finally, presents a model that includes a guideline for the university library which will establish digital collection development policy.
