  • YouTube, the most representative video sharing platform, is used by millions every day. New videos across various fields, such as daily life, beauty, games, eating, fashion, and music are constantly being uploaded. Among the content available on YouTube, beauty-related videos are particularly popular. Creators who produce and share beauty-related content on online media platforms are known as beauty creators. There is a significant amount of beauty-related content produced in response to high public interest. Most of this content focuses on sponsored advertisements related to product relevance and attitudes, such as makeup tutorials, hairstyle creation, and new product reviews. However, there is a lack of research on the diverse environments of self-media beauty creators and basic makeup production techniques. This study investigated the content composition of individual media YouTube beauty creators and examined the current status of YouTube beauty creators in Korea. This research is necessary for the development of diverse content and videos by beauty creators. Based on these findings, a makeup technique was developed for YouTube beauty creators, considering the production environment of marketing content and video production steps. This study aims to expand and specialize the broad range of content environments of beauty creators and develop makeup techniques that can be effectively used in YouTube content production.

  • Users in social media post various types of opinions such as product reviews and movie reviews. It is a common trend that customers get assistance from the opinions in making their decisions. However, as opinion usage grows, distorted feedbacks also have increased. For example, exaggerated positive opinions are posted for promoting target products. So are negative opinions which are far from common evaluations. Finding these biased opinions becomes important to keep social media reliable. Techniques of opinion mining (or sentiment analysis) have been developed to determine sentiment polarity of opinionated documents. These techniques can be utilized for finding the biased opinions. However, the previous techniques have some drawback. They categorize the text into only positive and negative, and they also need a large amount of training data to build the classifier. In this paper, we propose methods for discovering the biased opinions which are skewed from the overall common opinions. The methods are based on angle based outlier detection and personalized PageRank, which can be applied without training data. We analyze the performance of the proposed techniques by presenting experimental results on a movie review dataset.

  • The objective of the study are two-fold: one is to explore the relationship between environment, organizational structure, and organizational effectiveness of public health centers in Korea, and the other is to examine the validity of contingency theory for improving the organizational structure of public health care agencies, with special emphasis on public health nursing administration. Accordingly, the conceptual model of the study consisted of three different concepts: environment, organizational structure, and organizational effectiveness, which were built up from the contingency theory. Data were collected during the period from 1st of May through 30th of June, 1990. From the total of 249 health centers in the country, one hundred and five centers were sampled non proportionally, according to the geopolitical distribution. Out of 105, 73 health centers responded to mailed questionnaire. The health centers were the unit of the study, and a various statistical analysis techniques were used: Reliability analysis(Cronbach's Alpha) for 4 measurement tools; Shapiro-Wilk statistic for normality test of measured scores of 6 variables: ANOVA, Pearson Correlaion analysis, regressional analysis, and canonical correlation analysis for the test of the relationships and differences between the variables. The results were. as follows : 1. No significant differences between forma lization, decision-making authority and environmental complexity were found(F=1.383, P=.24 ; F=.801, P=.37). 2. Negative relationships between formalization and decision-making authority for both urban and rural health centers were found(r=-.470, P=.002 ; r=-.348, P=.46). 3. No significant relationship between formalization and job satisfaction for both urban and rural health centers were found (r=-.242, P=.132, r=-.060, P=.739). 4. Significant positive relationship between decision - making authority and job satisfaction were found in urban health centers (r=.504, P=.0009), but no such relationship was observed in rural health centers. Regression coefficient between them was statistically significant($\beta=1.535$, P=.0002), and accuracy of regression line was accepted (W=.975, P= .420). 5. No significant relationships among formalization and family planning services, maternal health services, and tuberculosis control services for both urban and rural health centers were found. 6. Among decision-making authority and family planning services, maternal health services, and tuberculosis control services, significant positive relationship was found between de cision-making authority and family planning services(r=.286, P=.73). 7. A significant difference was found in maternal health services by the type of health centers (F=5.13, P=.026) but no difference was found in tuberculosis control services by the type of health centers, formalization, and decision-making authority. 8. A significant positive relationships were found between family planning services and maternal health services and tuberculosis control services, and between maternal health services and tuberculosis control services (r=-.499, P=.001 ; r=.457, P=.004 ; r=.495, P=.002) in case of urban health centers. In case of rural health centers, relationships between family planning services and tuberculosis control services, and between maternal health services and tuberculosis control services were statistically significant (r=.534, P=.002 ; r=.389, P=.027). No significant relationship was found between family planning and maternal health services. 9. A significant positive canonical correlation was found between the group of independent variables consisted of formalization and de cision-making authority and the group of dependent variables consisted of family planning services, maternal health services and tuberculosis control services(Rc=.455, P=.02). In case of urban health centers, no significant canonical correlation was found between them, but significant canoncial correlation was found in rural health centers(Rc=.578, P=.069), 10. Relationships between job satisfaction and health care productivity was not found significant. Through these results, the assumed relationship between environment and organizational structure was not supported in health centers. Therefore, the relationship between the organizational effectiveness and the congruence between environment and organizational structure that contingency theory proposes to exist was not able to be tested. However decision-making authority was found as an important variable of organizational structure affecting family planning services and job satisfaction in urban health centers. Thus it was suggested that decentralized decision making among health professionals would be a valuable strategy for improvement of organizational effectiveness in public health centers. It is also recommended that further studies to test contingency theory would use variability and uncertainty to define environment of public health centers instead of complexity.

  • For development of landslide risk assessment techniques using GIS(Geographic Information System), this study classifies the category of socioeconomic factors. The landslide quantitative risk assessment performs first prediction of flow trajectory and runout distance of debris flow over natural terrain. Based on those results, it can be analyzed the factors of socioeconomic which are directly related to the magnitude of risk due to landslide hazards. Those risk assessment results can deliver factual damage situation prediction to policy making for the landslide damage mitigation. Therefore, this study is based on feature classification of the digital map ver. 2.0 provided by the National Geographic Information Institute. The category of factors can be used as useful data in preventing landslide.

  • In optimization problems, computationally intensive or expensive simulations hinder the use of standard optimization techniques because the computational expense is too heavy to implement them at each iteration of the optimization algorithm. Therefore, those expensive simulations are often replaced with approximation models which can be evaluated nearly free. However, because of the limited accuracy of the approximation models, it is practically impossible to find an exact optimal point of the original problem. Significant efforts have been made to overcome this problem. The approximation models are sequentially updated during the iterative optimization process such that interesting design points are included. The interesting points have a strong influence on making the approximation model capture an overall trend of the original function or improving the accuracy of the approximation in the vicinity of a minimizer. They are successively determined at each iteration by utilizing the predictive ability of the approximation model. This paper will focuses on those approaches and introduces various approximation methods.

  • Phishing website has become a crucial concern in cyber security applications. It is performed by fraudulently deceiving users with the aim of obtaining their sensitive information such as bank account information, credit card, username, and password. The threat has led to huge losses to online retailers, e-business platform, financial institutions, and to name but a few. One way to build anti-phishing detection mechanism is to construct classification algorithm based on machine learning techniques. The objective of this paper is to compare different classifier ensemble approaches, i.e. random forest, rotation forest, gradient boosted machine, and extreme gradient boosting against single classifiers, i.e. decision tree, classification and regression tree, and credal decision tree in the case of website phishing. Area under ROC curve (AUC) is employed as a performance metric, whilst statistical tests are used as baseline indicator of significance evaluation among classifiers. The paper contributes the existing literature on making a benchmark of classifier ensembles for web phishing detection.

  • Assessing response to therapy allows for prospective end point evaluation in clinical trials and serves as a guide to clinicians for making decisions. Recent prospective and randomized trials suggest the development of imaging techniques and introduction of new anti-cancer drugs. However, the revision of methods, or proposal of new methods to evaluate chemotherapeutic response, is not enough. This paper discusses the characteristics of the Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumor (RECIST) version 1.1 suggested in 2009 and used widely by experts. It also contains information about possible dilemmas arising from the application of response assessment by the latest version of the response evaluation method, or recently introduced chemotherapeutic agents. Further data reveals the problems and limitations caused by applying the existing RECIST criteria to anti-cancer immune therapy, and the application of a new technique, immune related response criteria, for the response assessment of immune therapy. Lastly, the paper includes a newly developing response evaluation method and suggests its developmental direction.

  • This study is about the application of visual structure and presentation of film as one of new methods for design of sequential landscape. The primary objective of the study is to present the basis of applicable and reasonable D니. In applying components of film to DSL, if it is compared with sequential landscape, the film is collection of shots while sequential landscape is accumulation of sceneries. Film and sequential landscape give us a whole meaning different from the meaning itself of a shot or scenery in its experience. The study build a tentative technique of DSL which has the following stages : 1) Goal setting and making out a scenario 2) Analysis and investigation 3) Selection process of definite form 4) Drawing up conti., sketch and notes, It is expected that the technique presented in this study could be a basis for further study of DSL.
