성공적인 m-Learning 구현을 위한 핵심 요인에 대한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Critical Factors for Successful m-Learning Implementation)

  • This study defined the notion of general idea on m-learning as based upon e-Learning and mobile internet related literature review and identified the m-Learning distinctive features. Also, this study has searched for factors that are expected to influence the use intended for m-Learning from self-regulated learning, which is acknowledged to be a useful method for learning accomplishment in education field, in order to measure the relationship between learners' motivation and use intention. Then it has empirically validated the conceptual model based on Davis' TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) As a result, self-efficacy, self-determination, interest, contents quality, time management, help seeking, and Peer study are factors affecting Perceived usefulness. Also self-efficacy, self-determination, interest, contents qualify, time management, and peer study are factors affecting perceived ease of use. Finally both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are significant factors affecting use intention.

고등학교 모바일러닝(Mobile Learning) 성과 예측요인 규명 (Factors Affecting Mobile Learning Outcomes within High School Classroom)

  • 본 연구는 모바일러닝의 효과성을 높이기 위해 고려해야 할 지침을 얻고자, 모바일러닝 환경에서 학습성과를 예측하는 요인으로 모바일러닝 효능감, 편재성, 유용성, 용이성을 선정하고 이들의 예측력을 규명하였다. 이를 위해 2012학년도 9월에서 10월초까지 경남 지역에 소재한 A여자 고등학교 2학년 학생 144명을 대상으로 약 5주동안 모바일기기를 활용하여 모바일러닝을 진행하였다. 수업 종료 후 학습자의 설문을 수거하여 상관분석 및 회귀분석으로 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 모바일러닝 효능감, 유용성은 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치고, 유용성, 편재성은 인지된 성취도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 모바일러닝 활용 측면의 편재성, 용이성 등의 기기자체의 특성 보다는 모바일러닝에 대해 본인이 느끼는 긍정적 태도나, 유용하다고 느끼는 정도가 모바일러닝의 만족도를 예측하는 요인으로 규명된 것이다. 반면 편재성이 인지된 성취도를 유의미하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 모바일 특성상 시간과 장소에 관계없이 필요한 정보를 이용할 수 있고 자신에게 적합한 서비스나 정보를 제공받을 수 있으므로, 학습자가 모바일학습 환경에서 더욱 효율적인 학습이 가능했기 때문이라고 생각된다. 유용성이 만족도와 인지된 성취도 모두를 유의하게 예측한 것은, 학습자에게 유용한 모바일러닝을 제공하고 또한 모바일러닝에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 함양할 수 있도록 하는 전략이 필요하다는 것을 함의한다.

중등학교 가정과교사의 교사 효능감 유형에 대한 연구 (Types of Teacher Efficacy among Secondary School Home Economics Teachers)

  • The purposes of this study are to identify the types of teacher efficacy, to present a theoretical base for teacher efficacy among Home Economics teachers and subsequently, to improve the quality in the practices of home economics education. To achieve these purposes, 263 secondary school home economics teachers were surveyed by the prime investigator. The three research questions of this study were: 1. What are the individual characteristics, the environmental characteristics and the trends of teacher efficacy among secondary school home economics teachers? 2. What is the factor in teacher efficacy among secondary school home economics teachers? 3. What are the types of teacher efficacy among secondary school home economics teachers? For these research questions, factor analysis and cluster analysis were conducted. The factor analysis on teacher efficacy with a survey of secondary school home economics teachers produced 5 factors of efficacy: classroom management, needs assistance, instructional strategies, environmental assistance and teaming assistance. The teacher efficacy had a mean of 3.58 and the home economics teachers showed a slightly higher level in teacher efficacy. Of the 5 efficacy factors, classroom management showed the highest level (M=3.89), followed by learning assistance (M=3.81), instrumental strategies (M=3.57), environmental assistance (M=3.42) and needs assistance (M=3.19). Overall, the teachers had positive feeling in teacher efficacy. Three types of teachers were found in the types of teacher efficacy: the supreme, the average and the efforts-needy. Those types were identified based on the mean scores of the five sub-domains from the factor analysis. To enhance the teacher efficacy, the needs assessments for the students and behavioral adjustment issues should be reflected in the curriculum of teacher education and workshops. The primary investigator suggested that continuous and long-term plans for teacher education need to be developed because short-term plans may not be effective in changing attitudes such as teacher efficacy.

The impacts on school life of a occupational therapy student use of smartphone

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate occupational therapy at M college in Changwon and the impact of smart phone use on the school life of college students and to help them find ways to further develop in the future. Methods; Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the questionnaires consisted of 152 total questions with 15 interpersonal questions, 23 problem solving skills, 43 self-efficacy, 16 class participation scale, and 55 self-directed learning scale. It was conducted to first and second graders of M college and conducted a survey through the corresponding academic year from March 26, 2019 to March 29, 2019 to retrieve 120 questionnaires and use them for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS. Statistic 20.0. Results: Studies show that "school life satisfaction" is usually the highest at 53 percent. The "smartphone user motivation" was the highest with 50.8 percent, while the "most frequently used feature on smartphones" was the highest with 57.5 percent on SNS. Satisfaction after using a smartphone was the highest with 49.2 percent, while 41.7 percent said it would be easier to acquire and utilize information in the areas of satisfaction. Conclusion: Smartphone addiction, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving skills, self-efficacy, participation in classes, and self-control learning items are not only affected by one part, but also by the other.

Special Education Teachers' Competence, Self-Efficacy, and Autonomy in Using ICT amid the Covid19 Pandemic

  • The outbreak of Covid-19 has forced teachers of special education in Saudi Arabia to keep to themselves to live in a technology-infused society throughout the virtual teaching and learning process. This study set out to explore the competence, self-efficacy, and autonomy in using information communication technology (ICT) of special education teachers in Saudi Arabia. A total of 244 special education teachers in Saudi Arabia participated in this study. This study adopted the New General Self-Efficacy Scale developed and validated by Chen, Gully, and Eden (2001), as well as the Basic Psychological Needs in Exercise Scale (BPNES) developed and validated by Vlachopoulos and Michailidou (2006). Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) were used as the main data analysis in this study. The findings showed that special education teachers in Saudi Arabia possessed competence, self-efficacy, and autonomy in using ICT in their teaching and learning process. All the factor loadings in each factor were.75 or higher, indicating good factor loadings. The results of the MANOVA indicated that special education teachers in Saudi Arabia do not report different perceptions of their competence, self-efficacy, and autonomy despite their different gender, age group, academic background, and teaching experiences.

간호 대학생의 감성 지능과 자기 효능감이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Self-Efficacy on Clinical Competence of the Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생의 감성 지능과 자기 효능감이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였으며 본 연구의 대상자로 일 대학의 간호 대학생 199명이 참여하였다. 자료 수집은 Wong & Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), General Self-efficacy Scale, 임상수행능력 도구를 통하여 설문조사하였다. 본 연구 결과 감성 지능, 자기 효능감, 임상수행능력은 중간 수준(감성 지능은 M=4.7, SD=0.81; 자기 효능감은 M=3.2, SD=0.34; 임상수행능력(5점 만점)은 M=3.4, SD=0.56)으로 나타났다. 그리고 간호 대학생의 학년과 임상실습 만족도가 높을수록 임상수행능력 정도가 높게 나타났다. 더 나아가 감성 지능과 임상수행 능력의 상관성(r=.566, p< .001), 자기 효능감과 임상수행능력(r=.440, p< .001)은 통계적으로 유의한 순 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 감성 지능, 자기 효능감, 성별이었다. 이들 요인의 설명력은 총 49.3%였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 간호 대학생의 임상수행능력 향상을 위해서는 이들 변수를 반영한 다양한 교수법과 학습전략마련이 필요하다.

ICF 구성요소 기반 이중과제 훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 보행 능력과 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Dual Task Training based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health on Walking Ability and Self-Efficacy in Chronic Stroke)

  • PURPOSE: This study was conducted to determine the effect of dual-task training (based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health; ICF) on walking ability and self-efficacy in individuals with chronic stroke. METHODS: 22 chronic stroke patients participated in this study. Participants were randomly allocated into either the single-task group (n=11) or the dual-task group (n=11). Both groups had physical training three a week for 4 weeks, and at a three-week follow-up. Outcome measures included the 10m walking test (10MWT), figure of 8 walk test (F8WT), dynamic gait index (DGI), and Self-efficacy scale. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 for Windows. Between-group and within-group comparison were analyzed by using the Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon singed-rank test respectively. RESULTS: In the dual-task group, the 10MWT, time and steps of F8WT, DGI, and self-efficacy showed significant differences between pre- and post-test (p<.05). The Changes between the pre- and post-test values of 10MWT (p<.05), DGI (p<.05), and self-efficacy scale (p<.05) showed significant differences between the dual-task group and single-task group. CONCLUSION: Participants reported improved walking ability and self-efficacy, suggesting that dual-task training holds promise in the rehabilitation of walking in chronic stroke patients. This study showed that ICF-based on a dual-task protocol contiributes to motor learning after chronic stroke.

다중지능에 기초한 국어교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과검증 (A Study on the Development and Effect of Korean Language Education Program Based on Multiple Intelligences)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 정규 국어수업시간에 적용 가능한 다중지능에 기초한 국어교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 개발한 프로그램을 교실현장에 적용하여 그 효과를 알아보려는 데에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 대전시에 위치한 M초등학교 3학년 1개 학급 실험집단(남자 13명, 여자 16명, 총 29명)에 프로그램을 전개하고 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 3학년의 1개 학급 통제집단(남자 14명, 여자 15명, 총 29명)의 사전, 사후 검사를 비교해 본 결과, 다중 지능에 기초한 국어교육 프로그램을 통해 아동의 다중지능과 자기효능감, 성취동기가 향상되었다. 이상의 연구결과를 볼 때, 다중지능에 기초한 국어교육 프로그램은 다중지능과 자기효능감, 성취동기를 증진시키는데 효과적일 뿐만 아니라 언어와 논리-수학적 지능만을 강조하던 전통적인 학교교육 현장의 개선에 시사점을 안겨준다.

A Predictive Model to identify possible affected Bipolar disorder students using Naive Baye's, Random Forest and SVM machine learning techniques of data mining and Building a Sequential Deep Learning Model using Keras

  • Medical care practices include gathering a wide range of student data that are with manic episodes and depression which would assist the specialist with diagnosing a health condition of the students correctly. In this way, the instructors of the specific students will also identify those students and take care of them well. The data which we collected from the students could be straightforward indications seen by them. The artificial intelligence has been utilized with Naive Baye's classification, Random forest classification algorithm, SVM algorithm to characterize the datasets which we gathered to check whether the student is influenced by Bipolar illness or not. Performance analysis of the disease data for the algorithms used is calculated and compared. Also, a sequential deep learning model is builded using Keras. The consequences of the simulations show the efficacy of the grouping techniques on a dataset, just as the nature and complexity of the dataset utilized.

  • Various lean design and construction methods such as target value design, pull planning, value stream mapping have successfully transformed the commercial building construction industry into achieving improved productivity, higher design and construction quality, and meeting the target values of construction projects. Considering the significant advantages of lean, the accelerated dissemination and adoption of lean methods and tools for construction is highly desirable. Currently, the lean design and construction body of knowledge is imparted primarily through publications and conferences. However, one of the most effective ways to impart this soft knowledge is through getting students and trainees involved in hands-on participatory games, which can quickly help them truly understand the concept and apply it to real-world problems. The COVID-19 Pandemic has raised an urgent need of developing virtual games that can be played simultaneously from various locations over the Internet, but these virtual games should be as effective as in-person games. This research develops an online 3D simulation game for Target Value Design that is as effective as in-person games or possibly better in terms of knowledge capture and retention and enjoyable environment and experience. The virtual game is tested on volunteers using feedback from pre-and post- simulation surveys to evaluate its efficacy.
