최근 위치 기반 서비스를 사용하는 안드로이드 앱이 널리 사용되고 있다. 안드로이드 플랫폼에서 지원되는 여러 위치 제공자 중 GPS (Global Positioning System) 위치 제공자의 동작에 대한 이해는 관련 안드로이드 개발자에게 중요한 과제이다. 본 고는 안드로이드 플랫폼의 GPS 서브시스템 소스를 분석하여, GPS 위치 제공자의 동작을, 주요 쓰레드를 중심으로 그리고 초기화 단계부터 최종 위치 보고 단계까지 단계별로 일목요연하게 제시하고자 한다.

위치공유기반 서비스(Location-sharing based service)는 사용자가 친구관계를 맺고 있는 다른 사용자와 자신의 위치정보를 공유하는 서비스를 일컫는다. 이 때, 이 위치정보는 서비스 제공자(SP, Service Provider)를 통해 공유되며, 자신의 위치정보는 서비스 제공자에게 노출되게 된다. 이로써 개인의 위치정보가 SP에게 노출되는 프라이버시 문제가 제기되어 왔고, 이를 보호하기 위한 메커니즘들이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 위치공유기반 서비스의 종류와 그 특징을 살펴보고, 이를 위한 프라이버시 보호 메커니즘들의 연구 동향을 조사한다. 조사된 기존 메커니즘 분석을 통해, 현 서비스에 적합한 프라이버시 메커니즘 설계 방향 및 향후 연구 방향을 제언한다.

Telematics, one of the so-called New Growth Engine of IT839, is a leading IT service where wireless internet service represented by information and mobility is extended to the area of transportation. To provide telematics service, Telematics service provider have to connect with various Contents Provider or Service Provide server - for example - LBSS(Location Based Service Server), ASPS(Application Service Provider Server), TELICS(TELematics Information Center Server), GMS(Geo-mobility Server), WTPS(World Telematics Protocol Server) and MAUS(Map Air Update Server). Presently, It is nearly impossible or very difficult for the company that are manufacturing and testing telematics device to develop and test telematics solution without connecting Telematics Service Provider, Service Provider, Contents Provider. And, it is very difficult to connect in TSP, CP, SP having the product to be developed. In this paper, we proposed virtual telematics service provider. The proposed Virtual Telematics Service Provider is to provide telematics services and functionalities by integrating telematics servers into TSP gateway virtually. In other words, VTSP is performs with the role of TSP, CP, SP. And the VTSP support integration of telematics servers, interfacing and monitoring between terminal and the integrated servers.

전화번호이동성이란 전화서비스 가입자가 전화망 사업자, 지역, 서비스의 종류를 변경하여도 종전에 사용하던 전화번호를 변경하지 않고 그대로 사용할 수 있는 것을 뜻한다. 사업자를 변경해도 전화번호가 바뀌지 않는 것을 사업자 이동성, 지역을 바꾸어도 전화번호가 바뀌지 않는 것을 지역 이동성, 서비스의 종류를 변경하여도 번호가 바뀌지 않는 것을 서비스 이동성 이라고 한다. 이와 같은 이동성을 지능망을 통하여 제공하기 위해서는 INAP(Intelligent Network Application Part)의 보완이 필수적인데, 본 논문에서는 국내에서 번호이동성을 제공하기 위하여 필요한 INAP의 변경사항에 대하여 논한다.

본 논문은 XML(eXtensible Markup Language) 파싱(parsing)기법을 이용한 안드로이드 기반의 날씨 정보 어플리케이션의 설계 및 구현에 관한 사항이다. GPS 위치 프로바이더와 XML 파싱기법 이용하여 현재 위치에 따라 날씨 정보가 변하게 된다. 또한 알람 시스템을 이용하여 어플리케이션의 접속과 종료에 상관없이 알람 이벤트가 발생 될 때의 시간을 기준으로 날씨 정보를 음성(English)으로 출력한다. 모든 어플리케이션에서 사용자 인터페이스는 앱의 첫 인상이 중요하기 때문에 복잡하지 않고, 단순한 방법으로 사용자 인터페이스 설계를 하였다.

Since in web service composition, the same service may be offered by different providers with different Quality of Services (QoS) attributes, selection criteria are needed to select which Web Services will be considered for composition. Location of provider can be one of these criteria and intends to decrease the number of remote interactions between providers as well as reducing waiting time of service consumer. Therefore in this paper, we present technique for composing web services according to their location by semantically describing customer's goals and provider's web service capability by means of carefully designed ontology and logical expression.

위치 기반 광고란 휴대폰, PDA(Personal Digital Assistant), 노트북 PC 등 위치 획득이 가능한 단말의 위치 정보를 이용하여 광고를 하는 것으로 위치 추적이 가능한 단말의 위치 정보를 활용하여 부가정보를 서비스하는 위치 기반 서비스 (LBS, Location Based Services)의 한 종류이다. 최근의 이동 통신 기술의 발달과 휴대폰, PDA 등 모바일 단말의 급속한 확산으로 인하여 LBS 는 유무선 인터넷의 응용 및 그를 이용한 부가 가치 창출에 있어 핵심적인 역할을 할 것이며, 특히 위치 기반 광고는 LBS 시장의 상당 부분을 차지할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이러한 위치 기반 광고는 광고를 저장하고 관리하는 광고 ASP (Application Service Provider) 플랫폼에서 단말의 위치 정보를 저장 및 관리하는 LBS 플랫폼을 참조하여 위치 및 시간에 따라 광고의 대상이 되는 사용자 목록을 얻고, 해당 사용자에 대하여 단문 메시지 또는 멀티미디어 광고를 제공함으로써 이루어질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 많이 사용되고 있는 단문 메시지 서비스 (SMS, Short Message Services)를 사용하여 위치 기반 광고를 제공할 수 있는 광고 ASP 플랫폼을 설계한다. 이를 위해 광고 ASP 플랫폼이 제공하여야 하는 기능과 위치 기반 광고의 처리 흐름을 분석한다.

The selection of the optimal partners in supply chain management is one of the most critical success factors. In the past, partners for outsourcing production were selected repeatedly within a closed group of candidates due to the limited information and location of partners. But, the wide use of internet and the development of electronic commerce make it possible that the partners capable of providing the optimal services are selected regardless of their location or nationality. And the concept of partners was limited to the provider of production resources. In the supply chain management, the concept should be extended to the provider of transportation and warehouse due to the high portion of transportation cost among the total production cost Therefore, In this study, we propose an analytical approach to the selection of Production and transportation partners in supply chain management. For this purpose a mathematical model is developed, and then a heuristic algorithm based on tabu search is presented since the model belongs to the NP hard problem.

The increasing availability of personal location data pushed by the widespread use of location-sensing technologies raises concerns with respect to the safeguard of location privacy. To address such concerns location privacy-preserving techniques are being investigated. An important area of application for such techniques is represented by Location Based Services (LBS). Many privacy-preserving techniques designed for LBS are based on the idea of forwarding to the LBS provider obfuscated locations, namely position information at low spatial resolution, in place of actual users' positions. Obfuscation techniques are generally based on the use of geometric methods. In this paper, we argue that such methods can lead to the disclosure of sensitive location information and thus to privacy leaks. We thus propose a novel method which takes into account the semantic context in which users are located. The original contribution of the paper is the introduction of a comprehensive framework consisting of a semantic-aware obfuscation model, a novel algorithm for the generation of obfuscated spaces for which we report results from an experimental evaluation and reference architecture.

WiBro service provider have made an effort to provide the subscriber's location and have deployed LBS system using cell-ID method. Cell-ID method has a location error problem if repeater is used on the other cell places at the same time. We introduce and analysis LMU(Location Measurement Unit) on the repeater fer location detection of subscriber which is serviced via the repeater. In this paper we propose the method using LMU on the repeater to avoid these location errors and to provide more exact location to the subscriber. we can conclude that the location error can be more exact at the building which uses repeater. It represents in which level the subscriber is serviced at the building.
