This paper provides a guideline for specifying the operational compliance characteristics considering the location of compliance center and the grasp points in assembly tasks using robot hands. Through various assembly tasks, we analyze the conditions of the achievable operational stiffness matrix with respect to the location of compliance center and the grasp points. Also, we show that some of coupling stiffness elements in the operational space cannot be planned arbitrarily. As a result it is concluded that the location of compliance center on the grasped object and the grasp points play important roles for successful assembly tasks and also the operational stiffness matrix should be carefully specified by considering those conditions.

Through T-type assembly task, we analyze the conditions of the achievable operational stiffness matrix with respect to the location of compliance center and the grasp points. It is concluded that the location of compliance center on the grasped object and the grasp points play important roles for successful assembly tasks and also the operational stiffness matrix should be carefully specified by considering those conditions.

This paper provides a guideline for the determination of compliance characteristics and the proper location of the compliance center in typical peg-in-hole and peg-out-hole tasks using hands. We first observe the fact that some of coupling stiffness elements cannot be planned arbitrarily. The given peg-in/out-hole tasks are classified into two contact styles. Then, we analyze concluded of the operational siffness matrix, which achieve the give peg-in/out-hole tasks effectively for each case. It is concluded that the location of the compliance center on the peg and the coupling stiffness element existing between the translational and the rotational direction play ompliance on the peg and the coupling siffness element existing between the translational and the rotational direction play important roles for successful peg-in/out-hole tasks. The analytic results verified through simulations.

This paper deals with an analysis of the compliance characteristic for effective peg-in-hole task using robot hand without inter-finger coupling. We first observe the fact that some of coupling stiffness elements cannot be planned arbitrary. next we classify the task of inserting a peg-in-a-hole into two contact styles between the peg and the hole. Then we analyze the conditions of the specified stiffness matrix in the operational space to successfully and more effectively achieve the give peg-in-hole task for each case. It is concluded that the location of compliance center on the peg and the coupling stiffness element existing between the translational and the rotational direction play important roles for successful peg-in-hole task. Simulation results are included to verify the feasibility of the analytic results.

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the satisfaction of participants in the National Cancer Screening Program(NCSP) and to identify factors affecting the satisfaction. The telephone survey was conducted in July 2007 for the participants who were screened by the NCSP from January through May 2007. Student's t-tests and analysis of variance were performed first to determine if the mean satisfaction score differed by the characteristics of study objects, followed by multiple linear regression analyses to examine the factors affecting satisfaction. Dependent variable was general satisfaction for the screening service, and three dimensions of independent variables - 'sociodemographic characteristics', 'screening characteristics', and 'perceived service quality' - were used for the empirical analyses. Female, old-aged, less educated, Medicaid recipients, rural residents and the participants with normal results were more likely to be satisfied with the NCSP. The results of multiple regression analyses show that gender, age, location of residence, type of screening units, and perceived quality of screening services were significantly related to satisfaction. This study is meaningful as the first attempt to measure participant satisfaction with the NCSP, and to identify factors affecting the satisfaction. Among the identified factors, the NCSP needs to pay attention to perceived quality of service, in particular, to improve the satisfaction. This study is expected to contribute to raising the compliance rate and to improve the quality of the NCSP.

본 연구의 목적은 역사적인 특성을 가지고 있는 제천 최고(古)의 시장이자 최대의 시장인 제천중앙시장의 공간적인 장소성과 문화적인 특수성을 고려한 S.I.(Space Identity)를 구축하는데 있다. 이를 위해 문화관광형시장의 흐름을 파악하고 제천중앙시장의 현황을 조사 분석한 후 공간별 스토리텔링에 입각한 방향성을 제시한다. 공간디자인의 컨셉은 공존으로 공간, 시간, 사람, 문화로 나누어 상인과 상품, 상가는 하나의 공간에서 시간성을 공유하고 공존함을 세부내용으로 하였다. 따라서 각 층별 시설물은 각 층별로 게이트, 안내판, 조명, 휴게공간, 디자인 벤치시설, 안내센터, 영업 준수선, 바닥사인물, 게이트 바닥사인으로 구성하였다. 이를 통해 제천중앙시장 상가의 새로운 수요창출 및 매출이 증대되는 경제적인 효과를 예측할 수 있도록 단계별 추진전략을 구축하여 중장기 발전전략을 수립해야 할 것이다.
