The scale and cost of disasters are increasing globally, emphasizing the importance of logistics activities in disaster response. A disaster response logistics system must place logistics hub centers in regions relatively safe from disasters and ensure the stable supply of relief goods and emergency medicines to the affected areas. Therefore, this study focuses on locating drone delivery centers that minimize disaster vulnerability when designing a disaster response delivery network. To facilitate the transport of relief supplies via drones, the maximum delivery range of drones is considered and we employed a natural disaster vulnerability index to develop optimization models for selecting drone delivery center locations that minimize disaster vulnerability. The analysis indicates that while the optimization models to minimize disaster vulnerability increase the number of hub investments, these approaches mitigate disaster vulnerability and allows the safe and effective operation of a disaster response logistics system utilizing drone deliveries.

In this paper, we propose an agent model for Language-Driven Zero-Shot Object Navigation (L-ZSON) tasks, which takes in a freeform language description of an unseen target object and navigates to find out the target object in an inexperienced environment. In general, an L-ZSON agent should able to visually ground the target object by understanding the freeform language description of it and recognizing the corresponding visual object in camera images. Moreover, the L-ZSON agent should be also able to build a rich spatial context map over the unknown environment and decide efficient exploration actions based on the map until the target object is present in the field of view. To address these challenging issues, we proposes AML (Agent Model for L-ZSON), a novel L-ZSON agent model to make effective use of AI foundation models such as Large Language Model (LLM) and Vision-Language model (VLM). In order to tackle the visual grounding issue of the target object description, our agent model employs GLEE, a VLM pretrained for locating and identifying arbitrary objects in images and videos in the open world scenario. To meet the exploration policy issue, the proposed agent model leverages the commonsense knowledge of LLM to make sequential navigational decisions. By conducting various quantitative and qualitative experiments with RoboTHOR, the 3D simulation platform and PASTURE, the L-ZSON benchmark dataset, we show the superior performance of the proposed agent model.

Background: A chest computed-tomography has become more prevalent so that it is more common to detect small sized pulmonary nodules that have not been found in previous simple chest x-ray. If those detected nodules are undersized or located in pulmonary parenchyma, it is difficult to accomplish a biopsy since it is vulnerable to explore them either grossly or digitally. Thus, in our hospital, a thoracoscopic pulmonary wedge resection was performed after locating a lesion by means of hook wire with CT-guided. Material and Method: 31 patients (17 males and 14 female patients) from December in 2006 to June in 2010 became our subjects; their 34 pulmonary nodules were subjected to the thoracoscopic pulmonary wedge resection after locating a lesion by means of hook wire with CT-guided. Also we analyzed a possibility of hook wire dislocation, a frequency of conversion to open thoracotomy, time consumed to operation after location of a lesion, operation time, post operation complication, and histological diagnosis of the lesion. Result: 12 of 34 cases were ground glass lesion, whereas 22 cases of them were solitary pulmonary lesion. The median value of the lesion was 8mm in size (range: 3 to 23 mm), while the median value was 12.5 mm in depth (range: 1 to 34 mm). The median value of time consumed from location of the lesion to anesthetic induction was 86.5 minutes (41~473 minutes); furthermore the mean value of operation time was 103 minutes (25~345 minutes). Intrathoracic wire dislocation was found in one case, but a target lesion was successfully excised. Open thoracotomy was performed in four cases due to pleural adhesion. However, there was no case of conversion to open thoracotomy due to failure to detect a target lesion. In histological diagnosis, metastatic cancer were found in 15 cases, which were the most common, primary lung cancer were in 9 cases, non-specific inflammation were in 3 cases, tuberculosis inflammation were in 2 cases, lymph nodes were in 2 cases, active tuberculosis were in 1 case, atypical adenomatous hyperplasia was in 1 case and normal lung parenchymal finding was in 1 case, respectively. Conclusion: In our hospital, in order to accomplish a precise histological diagnosis of ground-glass lesion and pulmonary nodules in lung parenchyma, location of pulmonary nodules were exactly located with hook wire under chest computed-tomography, which was followed by lung biopsy. We concluded that this was an accurate, minimally invasive and valuable method to minimize the complications and increase of cost of medical service provided.

A new cold neutron triple-axis spectrometer (Cold-TAS) was recently constructed at the 30 MWth research reactor, HANARO. The spectrometer, which is composed of neutron optical components and radiation shield, required a redesign of the segmented monochromator shield due to the lack of adequate support of its weight. To shed some weight, lowering the height of the segmented shield was suggested while adding more radiation shield to the top cover of the monochromator chamber. To investigate the radiological effect of such change, we performed MCNPX simulations of a few different configurations of the Cold-TAS monochromator shield and obtained neutron and photon intensities at 5 reference points just outside the shield. Reducing the 35% of the height of the segmented shield and locating lead 10 cm from the bottom of the top cover made of polyethylene was shown to perform just as well as the original configuration as radiation shield excepting gamma flux at two points. Using gamma map by MCNPX, it was checked that is distribution of gamma. Increased flux had direction to the top and it had longer distance from top of segmented shield. However, because of reducing the 35% of the height, height of dissipated gamma was lower than original geometry. Reducing the 35% of the height of the segmented shield and locating lead 10cm from the bottom of the top cover was selected. After changing geometry, radiation dose was measured by TLD for confirming tester's safety at any condition. Neutron(0.21 ${\mu}Svhr^{-1}$) and gamma(3.69 ${\mu}Svhr^{-1}$) radiation dose were satisfied standard(6.25 ${\mu}Svhr^{-1}$).
Single family houses are the traditional & typical type of house in human history. But there had been little attention to single family houses in Korea so that there was little studies on single family houses. This study aimed to analyse price determinants of single family houses in Seoul, using Quantile Regression Analysis(QRA). Because single family houses has large levels of price, quantile regression analysis is more proper than Ordinary Least Square(OLS). The Results of analysis showed that, land coverage ratio, zoning, passed years, basement floor, hight of land, shape of land were important factors to single family houses price. The scale of effect of land coverage ratio to single family houses price was different to price levels of single family houses. And basement floor affected more negative effects to middle price, location and zoning had positive effects to high price single family houses. The degree of influence of determinants of single family houses price was deferent by region, KangBuk and KangNam. In KangNam, land coverage ratio and accessibilities were more important in low price single family houses, green zone and more far way is affected positive effects on single family houses price. In Kangbuk, land coverage ratio affects similar effects on single family houses price.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of scatter radiation to dental x-ray film with long time-exposure in the different structures of the tooth, by using pinhole camera. For this study, pinhole camera, skull with tooth, and pocket dosimeter were used. The radiation with 70 and 90kVp and exposure time (minimum: 2.5 min., maximum 10 hrs.) was projected to the film in the pinhole camera. And density of the obtained x-ray film was measured with densitometer. In the intra-oral film taking, the amount of exposure of the scatter radiation affecting the thyroid gland area was measured with the dosimeter at the thyroid gland. The density of radiographs was compared in radiation projected with or without the metal cone of dental machine. The effect of the back scatter radiation to the film was also evaluated when the lead foil was removed. The obtained results were as follows: 1. A pinhole camera was a valuable device for locating the source of x-ray. 2. The scatter radiation affected the dental x-ray film when the radiation source was exposed. more than 5 hours'. In that case, the density of the scatter radiation could be observed visually. 3. The scatter radiation caused by short exposure of dental radiation didn't affect the diagnostic quality of the dental x-ray film. 4. The differences of densities between the tooth and the soft tissue according to exposure time showed 0.16 in 5 hours' exposure & 0.17 in 10 hours' exposure at 70 kVp & 0.12 in 5 hours' exposure & 0.13 in 10 hours' exposure at the 90kVp. 5. The differences of densities between the tooth and the soft tissue according to kVp showed no difference between 5 hours' exposure of tooth at 70 kVp and soft tissue at 90 kVp, but showed 0.05 high density in tooth when 10 hours' exposure at 90 kVp. 6. No difference of density was on radiographs taken with or without dental machine cone. 7. Back scatter radiation was recorded image of radiographs for only 3 min. 8. The amounts of the scatter radiation exposed to the thyroid gland in intraoral film taking were 1.12 mr in upper anterior, 0.55 mr in upper posterior, 2.75 mr in lower anterior, and 1.92 mr in lower posterior teeth.

Satellite-based positioning system such as global positioning system(GPS) has played a major role in data capture technology for constructing GIS database. Recent advances in satellite-based positioning technology have made the task of precisely locating features fast, easy, and inexpensive, and determined their current latitude and longitude. However, there are still situations where satellite-based positioning service will not provide users with desired precision such as in urban environments, that is, the only severe handicap still hampering satellite-based positioning is the well-known problem of restricted satellite visibilities. As the majority of the creation and updating of road and street network are carried out in urban environments, the obstruction problem considerably impedes the wider application of satellite-based positioning. This paper presents the current GPS-based positioning environment for GIS data acquisition in urban areas. A field experiment with measurement vehicle has been performed under varying operational conditions and areas where shading of satellite signal is encountered due to buildings and overpasses with measurement vehicle in order to evaluate the availability of existing GPS-based positioning. We found that the current GPS-base positioning system we used in this study was insufficient for a precise GIS data acquisition. This research would make a contribution for the development of base data to supplementary technology, which can complement the existing GPS-based positioning.
Localizing an object in image is a common task in the field of computer vision. As the existing methods provide a detection for the single object in an image, they have an utilization limit for the use of the application, due to similar objects are in the actual picture. This paper proposes an efficient method of object localization for image recognition. The new proposed method uses color correlation back-projection in the YCbCr chromaticity color space to deal with the object localization problem. Using the proposed algorithm enables users to detect and locate primary location of object within the image, as well as candidate regions can be detected accurately without any information about object counts. To evaluate performance of the proposed algorithm, we estimate success rate of locating object with common used image database. Experimental results reveal that improvement of 21% success ratio was observed. This study builds on spatially localized color features and correlation-based localization, and the main contribution of this paper is that a different way of using correlogram is applied in object localization.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the accommodative facility, blink rate and accommodative lag according to the change of angles of main viewpoint of near distance worker and study an appropriate viewing angle that mitigates asthenopia, such as headaches or eye fatigue accompanied when reading and staring at the computer or TV for a long time. Methods: Total of 27 people including 12 male university students and 15 female university students in the age of 20 to 36 with frequent near distance works, such as computers, were selected to study the accommodative facility, the blink rate and the accommodative lag in accordance with the change of viewing angles of the near distance workers. The refraction error was corrected completely and the phoropter was shifted to near distance mode to locate the near distance indication at 40 cm. The accommodative facility and the blink rate were measured for one minute at each viewing direction of $40^{\circ}$ downward, $20^{\circ}$ downward, horizontal, and $20^{\circ}$ upward directions based on the horizontal line and the accommodative lag was measured in dynamic retinoscopy using retinoscope. Results: As a result, when the main viewpoint was moved on upper direction from the $40^{\circ}$ below, the accommodative facility was reduced and the blink rate and the accommodative lag were increased so their eyes became dry and the accommodation response was reduced. Conclusions: In near distance works, the eye fatigue level can be minimized by locating a book or a computer screen $40^{\circ}$ below than the horizontal direction.
Purposes : This study reports the possible causes of seizure recurrence in patients underwent previous epilepsy surgery, and surgical strategy for resection of the additional epileptogenic zone locating at the distant area to the site of first resection. Methods : A total of 10 patients with previous surgery due to intractable epilepsy were studied. Five of these underwent standard temporal lobectomy, four extratemporal resection, and one corticoamygdalectomy. Seizure outcome of these were class III-IV. Evaluation methods for reoperation included MRI, 3D-surface rendering of MRI, PET, prologned video-EEG recording with surface electrodes and subdural grid electrodes. Additional resection was done in the frontal lobe in two, in the temporal lobe in three, in the parietal lobe in two, and in the supplementary sensori-motor area in two. Tumor in the superior frontal gyrus in the left hemisphere was removed in one patient. Extent of resection was decided based on the results of ictal subdural grid EEGs and MRI findings. Awake anesthesia and electrocortical stimulation were performed in the two patients for defining the eloquent area. Results : Histopathologic findings revealed extratemporal cortical dysplasia in six, hippocampal sclerosis and cortical dysplasia of the temporal neocortex in one, neuronal gliosis in two, and meningioma in one. Previous pathology of the five patients with cortical dysplasia in the second operation was hippocampal sclerosis plus cortical dysplasia of the temporal neocortex. After reoperation, seizure outcomes were class I in six, class II in three, class III in one at the mean follow-up period of 17.5 months. Characteristically, patients in class II-III after reoperation showed histopathologic findings of hippocampal sclerosis plus temporal neocortical cortical dysplasia plus extratemporal cortical dysplasia. Conclusions : Seizure recurrence after epilepsy surgery was related with the presence of an additional epileptogenic zone distant to the site of first operation, and the majority of the histopathology of the surgical specimens was cortical dysplasia. In particular, hippocampal sclerosis plus temporal neocortical cortical dysplasia was highly related with seizure recurrence in patients with previous operation. In these patients, multimodal evaluation methods were necessary in defining the additional epileptogenic zone.
