LPC와 DNN을 결합한 유도전동기 고장진단 (Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motor using Linear Predictive Coding and Deep Neural Network)

  • As the induction motor is the core production equipment of the industry, it is necessary to construct a fault prediction and diagnosis system through continuous monitoring. Many researches have been conducted on motor fault diagnosis algorithm based on signal processing techniques using Fourier transform, neural networks, and fuzzy inference techniques. In this paper, we propose a fault diagnosis method of induction motor using LPC and DNN. To evaluate the performance of the proposed method, the fault diagnosis was carried out using the vibration data of the induction motor in steady state and simulated various fault conditions. Experimental results show that the learning time of our proposed method and the conventional spectrum+DNN method is 139 seconds and 974 seconds each executed on the experimental PC, and our method reduces execution time by 1/8 compared with conventional method. And the success rate of the proposed method is 98.08%, which is similar to 99.54% of the conventional method.

  • This paper suggests the techniques in determining the values of the steady-state equivalent circuit parameters of a three-phase induction machine using genetic algorithm. The parameter estimation procedure is based on the steady-state phase current versus slip and input power versus slip characteristics. The propose estimation algorithm is of non-linear kind based on selection in genetic algorithm. The machine parameters are obtained as the solution of a minimization of objective function by genetic algorithm. Simulation shows good performance of the propose procedures.

  • This paper presents a robust speed control method of induction motors(IM) using a Non-linear PI controller(NPI). NPI is high gain controller in region of small error, and low gain controller in region of large error. So in steady state, system will be robust against variation of load torque. The simulation and experiment results confirm the validity of proposed control scheme.

  • This paper describes two different systems which can compensate harmonic currents generated in a power system. As non-linear loads increase gradually in industry fields, harmonic current generated in the electric power network system also increases. Harmonic current makes a power network current distorted and generates heat, vibration and noise in the power machinery. Many approaches have been applied to compensate harmonic currents generated in the power system. Among various approaches, in this paper, two kinds are compared and evaluated. They are flywheel compensators bases on secondary excitation of WRIM(wounded rotor induction motor) and SCIM(squirrel cage induction motor). Both systems have a common structure. They use a flywheel as an energy storage device and use PWM inverters. The main differences are the size and rating of the converter used.

Development of New Conveyer Directly Driven by Contact-less Energy Transmission System

  • This paper focuses on development of new conveyer directly driven by the contact-less energy transmission system. The effect of the resonant circuit and the flux linkage characteristics caused from that are analyzed by using 3D finite element analysis. From the result it is shown that the resonant circuit needs to transfer energy from the primary core to the secondary core. Also the influence of the linear induction motor on the contact-less energy transmission system is presented. New conveyer and the experimental apparatus was manufactured by using the contact-less energy transmission system and the linear induction motor. Possibility of realization of the conveyer is proved by comparison the simulation result which is obtained by using 2D finite element analysis with experimental one and the characteristic of the voltage and resonant current.

  • Light Rail Transit (LRT) System is an urban transit system which has approximately an intermediate transportation capacity between conventional subway and bus ($5,000{\sim}25,000$ persons per hour and per direction). It is a high-tech system which operational capacity, punctuality and mobility are remarkably improved. There are some types of LRT systems such as monorail, tramway, AGT(Automated Guideway Transit), and so on. The LRT systems have been applied and being operated in about a hundred lines around the world and many projects that apply the LRT systems in Korea are being proceeded and scheduled. For the efficient management, economical construction, and safe operation of various LRT systems, the establishment of national standard is necessary such as vehicle standardized specification, vehicle performance test standard, vehicle safety standard, construction guide, operation regulation, etc. of LRT systems. This paper presents the standard specification of electrical equipment of linear induction motor type light rail vehicle, that is LIM AGT(AGT system propelled with linear induction motor) vehicle. The LIM AGT system has been applied in Japan subway and ART(Advanced Rapid Transit) system of Canada and Yongin LRT is currently under construction.

  • This paper presents a vector controlled induction motor is implemented by neural networks system compared with PI controller for the speed control. The design employed the training strategy with Neural Network Controller(NNC) and Neural Network Emulator(NNE) for speed. In order to update the weights of the controller First of all Emulator updates its parameters by identifying the motor input and output next it supplies the error path to the output stage of the controller using backpropagation algorithm, As Controller produces an adequate output to the system due to neural networks learning capability Vector controlled induction motor characteristics actual motor speed with based on neural network system follows the reference speed better than that of linear PI speed controller.

  • The thrust control characteristics of single-sided linear induction motor (SLIM) is achieved using PI controller in this paper. The trembling of air gap length between the primary winding and the secondary structure of the SLIM must be minimized in order to get quick response results. Also, the input voltage of SLIM is involved with the time harmonics because most SLIM is driven by inverter. According to the feedback linear control system, this paper describes with applying the non-linear control, speed and estimated flux algorithm. At the result of this experiment, we reached to the improvement of thrust characteristics with PI controller.

  • The purpose of this paper is Characteristics Analysis according to thickness of Secondary Conductor in Tubular Linear Induction Motor(TLIM). Linear motors make good used of several applications as pumps and linear actuator. Characteristic equations of TLIM are obtained form voltage equation. And parameters of voltage equation are calculated.

  • 본 논문에서는 3상 유도전동기의 고장진단을 수행하기 위해 상호정보량과 선형판별분석기법에 기반을 둔 진단 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실험 장치는 유도전동기 구동의 기계적 모듈과 고장신호를 구하기 위한 데이터 획득 모듈로 구성하였다. 제안된 방법은 취득된 전류신호를 DFT에 의해 주파수 영역으로 변환한 후 분산정보를 이용하여 고장상태별로 차별성이 큰 순서대로 유효 주파수 성분을 추출한다. 다음 단계로 선택된 주파수 성분에 대해서 선형판별분석기법을 적용하여 고장상태별 특징들을 추출한 후 k-NN 분류기에 의해 유도전동기의 상태를 진단하게 된다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 보이기 위해 다양한 조건하에서 실험한 결과 기존방법에 비하여 우수한 결과를 나타냈다.
