This paper proposes knit slacks patterns by lower body shape of middle-aged women. In addition, this paper aims to propose a design method for a prototype of nice knit slacks using the properties of knitwear. To select basic woven slack patterns which would be used in designing prototype of knit slacks for middle-aged women, two industrial slack patterns and two educational slack patterns were collected, and lab coats were prefabricated using muslin. Then, a shape test was performed by an evaluation board which consisted of eight experts who majored in Clothing Construction. Using blended yarn (1/17's) with 64% wool, 23% rayon and 13% nylon, 12G knit slacks in plain stitch were made. In terms of waist circumference of knit slacks, the front and the back were set to W/4+1+2(D) and W/4-1+2(D), respectively, with 1cm of difference using waist circumference (Omphalion) to cover the abdominal circumference. To make the front-back width of the side line even, the front waist circumference was increased by 1cm. The ease of hip circumference was set to 4cm in total with H/4+1+0.8 in front and H/4+1-0.8 in the back (0.8cm in difference). Crotch length was set by adding 3cm (width of waist belt) after deducting crotch height from waist height (Omphalion). The center front angle was shifted by 1cm while the center back angle was shifted from the center front to the side line by 5cm.
Magnetic garnet films of (YSmLuCa)$_3$(FeGe)$\_$5/O$\_$12/ have been grown by the liquid phase eqitaxy method on the substrate of non-magnetic garnet Gd$_3$Ga$\_$5/O$\_$12/. The variation of Sm ion concentration were varied 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, mole/formula unit respectively. The magnetic properties of the samples for the bubble magnetic materials, such as, line width ΔH of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR), magnetic saturation induction 4$\pi$Ms, wall mobility u$\_$w/ uniaxial magnetic anisotropy energy Ku, were measured and discussed the relations between these properties. The line width ΔH decreases with increasing 4$\pi$Ms, and with decreasing Sm concentration. The anisotropy energy Ku increases not only with increasing Sm ion concentration, but also increasing 4$\pi$Ms. The value of wall mobility u$\_$w/ increase with increasing 4$\pi$Ms and decreases with increasing Sm concentration. We define a physical constant Eι from the fact that the product of 4$\pi$Ms and ΔH is constant with dimension of energy density. The Eι is dependent only on Sm concentration.density. The Eι is dependent only on Sm concentration.

In this study, experiments were conducted for micro pattern printing to combine solution atomization process and stencil printing based on electrospray deposition. The stencil mask fabricated by etching the photosensitive glass placed below 0.3 mm distance to substrate has 100 um line width. The process parameters of electrospray deposition system for the atomization of the solution are applied voltage and supply flow rate of the solution. Meniscus angle of cone-jet was optimized by varying the supply flow rate from 0.3 ml/hr to 0.7 ml/hr. Voltage condition was verified having symmetric cone-jet angle and no pulsation at 8.5 kV applied voltage. In addition, a number of micro patterns are printed using a single 1 step process by solution atomization process. Variable line width of approximate 100 um was confirmed by changing conditions of solution atomization regardless of the pattern size of stencil mask.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the resulting root canal angulation and shape change after using various enlarging instruments. The mesial canals (120) of extracted human mandibular 1st and 2nd molars were randomly divided into 6 groups; Control, K-type me, Heliapical me, Canal Master me, sonic and ultrasonic instrumentation group. Vertical angulation of each canal was determined by a straight line through the long axis of canal and another straight line through the apical foramen to intersect at the point where the canal began to leave the long axis of the tooth. By recording and comparing the measured angles of the each set of pre-and postinstrumentation. Then, the roots were sectioned horizontally in the apical, middle, coronal thirds and the canal shapes examined, as was the mesiodistal canal diameter as it relates to the external root surface. The results were as follows: 1. Instrumentation using K-type me group resulted in the highest mean change in angulation ($9.900^{\circ}$) (p < 0.005), while Sonic Air MM 3000 group resulted in the least degree of straightening canals ($8.250^{\circ}$) (p < 0.005). 2. Canal Master file group resulted in the best canal shape at the three levels (P < 0.005). 3. Measured minimal mesial root width produced Heliapical me group at the apical 1/3 level, Sonic Air MM 3000 group at the middle 1/3 level, Heliapical me group at the coronal 1/3 level (P < 0.005). 4. Measured minimal distal root width produced Sonic Air MM 3000 group at the apical 1/3 level (P < 0.05), Heliapical me group at the middle 1/3 level (P < 0.005), Canal Master me group at the coronal 1/3 level (P < 0.005). 5. HeIiapical me group produced more increased canal diameter than any other groups (P < 0.005).

Purpose : This study was designed 1) to compare the perception of dental professionals and lay people with respect to minor variations in maxillary anterior tooth size and alignment and their relation to the surrounding soft tissues, and 2) to evaluate the normal tooth-gingiva topographical relationships in periodontally healthy young subjects, Materials and methods : Maxillary anterior teeth were intentionally diagrammed in varying degree of deviation with respect to one of three common anterior esthetic discrepancies including variations in crown length, shape of gingival margin, and length of interproximal contact, 17 images were generated to be preferentially selected by 2 groups consisting of dental professionals and lay people (total of 740). Smiling photographs of 120 dental students who had healthy periodontium were taken and the photographic images were analyzed to be classified as 17 kinds of altered image groups. Results : The results demonstrated noticeable difference between the varying levels of discrepancy. Both group preferred gingival margin of lateral incisor to be 0.5mm lower than that of central incisor. Lay people preferred the gingival margin shape that has 2/9 horizontal component of the crown width, while dental professionals preferred the gingival margin shape that has 1/9 horizontal component of the crown width. Lay people preferred longer length of the interproximal contact (two thirds of the crown length), whereas dental professionals preferred shorter length of the interproximal contact (half of the crown length). Photographic analysis of normal esthetic gingival topography revealed 2/9 horizontal component and short length of the interproximal contact which was of the hybrid nature of the preferences shared by lay people and dental professionals. Conclusion: The results of this study show that dental professionals and lay people demonstrated significant difference in their preference of dental esthetic components, which may then influence the decision making process by dental professionals with respect to designing the anterior esthetic gingival line.
We attempted the first measurement of the spectral width of the nickel-like molybdenum x-ray laser (${\lambda}\;=\;18.895\;nm$) by use of a high-resolution spectrometer in order to determine the strength of the magnetic field required for the generation of a circularly polarized x-ray laser. The spectral width was measured to be ${\Delta}{\lambda}\;=\;18\;m{\AA}$ under the substantial lasing condition. The magnetic field required for the generation of a circularly polarized x-ray laser was 40 T. The splitting of the x-ray laser line was clearly obtained under 15 T external magnetic field. The strength of the magnetic field estimated from the splitting of the x-ray laser line was large compared with the external magnetic field. It implies that there might be an alternative mechanism for enhancement of the magnetic field in the gain medium plasma.

Currently, metal silicides become increasingly more essential part as a contact material in complimentary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS). Among various silicides, NiSi has several advantages such as low resistivity against narrow line width and low Si consumption. Generally, metal silicides are formed through physical vapor deposition (PVD) of metal film, followed by annealing. Nanoscale devices require formation of contact in the inside of deep contact holes, especially for memory device. However, PVD may suffer from poor conformality in deep contact holes. Therefore, Atomic layer deposition (ALD) can be a promising method since it can produce thin films with excellent conformality and atomic scale thickness controllability through the self-saturated surface reaction. In this study, Ni thin films were deposited by thermal ALD using bis(dimethylamino-2-methyl-2-butoxo)nickel [Ni(dmamb)2] as a precursor and NH3 gas as a reactant. The Ni ALD produced pure metallic Ni films with low resistivity of 25 $\mu{\Omega}cm$. In addition, it showed the excellent conformality in nanoscale contact holes as well as on Si nanowires. Meanwhile, the Ni ALD was applied to area-selective ALD using octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) self-assembled monolayer as a blocking layer. Due to the differences of the nucleation on OTS modified surfaces toward ALD reaction, ALD Ni films were selectively deposited on un-coated OTS region, producing 3 ${\mu}m$-width Ni line patterns without expensive patterning process.

This technical note demonstrates the feasibility of using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry for the characterization of U-7Mo/Ale5Si dispersion fuel. Our measurements show 5.0% Relative Standard Deviation (RSD) for the reproducibility of measured $^{98}Mo/^{238}U$ ratios in fuel particles from spot analysis, and 3.4% RSD for $^{98}Mo/^{238}U$ ratios in a NIST-SRM 612 glass standard. Line scanning allows for the distinction of U-7Mo fuel particles from the Al-5Si matrix. Each mass spectrum peak indicates the presence of U-7Mo fuel particles, and the time width of each peak corresponds to the size of that fuel particle. The size of the fuel particles is estimated from the time width of the mass spectrum peak for $^{98}Mo$ by considering the scan rate used during the line scan. This preliminary application clearly demonstrates that laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry can directly identify isotope ratios and sizes of the fuel particles in U-Mo/Al dispersion fuel. Once optimized further, this instrument will be a powerful tool for investigating irradiated dispersion fuels in terms of fission product distributions in fuel matrices, and the changes in fuel particle size or shape after irradiation.

As the chip size gets smaller, the width of the electrode line is also fine, and the density of interconnections is increasing. As a result, RC delay is becoming a problem due to the difference in resistance between the capacitor layer and the electrical conductivity layer. To solve this problem, the development of electrodes with high electrical conductivity and dielectric materials with low dielectric constant is required. In this study, we developed low dielectric ink by mixing commercial PSR which protect PCB's circuits from external factors and PI with excellent thermal property and low-k characteristics. As a result, the ink mixture of PSR and PI 10:3 showed the best results, with a dielectric constant of about 2.6 and 2.37 at 20 GHz and 28 GHz, respectively, and dielectric dissipation was measured at about 0.022 and 0.016. In order to verify the applicability of future applications, various line-width transmission lines produced on Teflon were evaluated, and as a result, the loss of transmission lines using low dielectric ink mixed with PI was 0.12 dB less on average in S21 than when only PSR was used.
The X-ray binary pulsar Her X-1 was observed with Ginga on 1988 August 28 during the orbital phase of 0.76 to 0.85 at the main-on phase of the 35 day cycle. During the observations the X-ray intensity varied by a factor of five or more on a time scale as short as 30 sec, due mostly to the soft X-ray absorption in the pre-eclipse phase. From the studies of pulse profiles and energy spectra, we revealed that there exists in the dipphase an unpulsed component which is "3% of the intensity at the non-absorbed high-level. We suggest that scattering of the source continuum by the optically thin hot corona is responsible for the unpoised component. In the spectral analysis, we find that the high-state non-absorbed spectra can be fitted by a power-law without absorption, and the spectra observed in the different abgorption states by two components of a power-law with the same photon index. An iron-K emission line is required in to the cases of fitting. The estimated equivalent width of the iron line varies from 0.18 to 0.51 key according to the change in the absorption column density along the line of sight. We suggest that the fluorescent iron line arises in a cool and relatively small region, like the Alfvensur face, and may be partially intercepted by the optically thick gas cloud passing across the line of sight.1 Korea Astronomy Observatorya The Institute of Space and Astronautical Science in Japan3 Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology
