배전선반송 데이타통신에서의 주기적 임펄스노이즈의 발생특성 (The Originating Characteristics of Periodic Impulse Noises in the Data Communication System by Distribution Line Carrier Method)

  • The existence of peroodic impulse noises in distribution line carrier (DLC) communication system is known to be the most serious obstacle for improving DLC communication quality in reliability and capacity. From the spectral points, impulse noises can be divided into baseband type and modulation type the noise width of whichs are much different each other. With each nose type, this study presents the basic characteristics in relation to what they originate from and how their spectrum properties are revealed. The baseband type impulse noise is normally caused from thyristor circuit running with low switching speed and the modulation type noise from the circuit of switching power supply. The base wave of modulation noise is shown to be the pulsuatic charging current to primary condenser in switching power circuit. The study result indicates also that placing the DLC carrier frequency away the band predominated by modulated noise especially from RCC type switching power circuit is very important in DLC design.

INVAR 마스크 응용 반도체 기판 소재의 고체 UV 레이저 프로젝션 어블레이션 (DPSS UV Laser Projection Ablation of IC Substrates using an INVAR Mask)

  • Due to the fact that the dimensions of circuit lines of IC substrates have been forecast to reduce rapidly, engraving the circuit line patterns with laser has emerged as a promising alternative. To engrave circuit line patterns in an IC substrate, we used a projection ablation technique in which a metal (INVAR) mask and a DPSS UV laser instead of an excimer laser are used. Results showed that the circuit line patterns engraved in the IC substrate have a width of about 15um and a depth of $13{\mu}m$. This indicates that the projection ablation with a metal mask and a DPSS UV laser could feasibly replace the semi-additive process (SAP).

  • This paper proposes the Selected Harmonic Elimination Pluse Width Modulation (SHE PW) scheme toreduce the ahrmonic components of source line current. To eliminate the low order harmonics which affects the source dominatly, we apply the Fourier series analysis to line current waveforms and then find out the switching patterns using the SHE PWM scheme. In addition to the analysis of harmonic effects, the three phase filter circuit is used to reduce high order harmonics. For the experimental realization, the converter circuit with power Transistor(PTR) is designed and the Pulse Time Control(PTC) is applied. The line current and the load voltage are measured under the condition of three phase application, highly inductive load.

  • 본 논문은 페라이트 필름을 기반으로 하는 마이크로스트립 선로로부터 여기되는 정자표면파의 복사 임피던스를 full-wave모멘트 해석법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 마이크로스트립 선로 폭과 페라이트 필름 두께 변화에 따른 여 기 특성 변화도 분석하였다. 정자파 근사에 의하여 계산된 복사 저항값은 주파수가 증가할수록 실험 값과 차이가 심해지나, full-wave 해석에 의하여 계산된 복사 저항값은 실험값에 매우 근접함을 알 수 있었다.

An On-Line Adaptive Control of Underwater Vehicles Using Neural Network

  • All adaptive neural network controller has been developed for a model of an underwater vehicle. This controller combines a radial basis neural network and sliding mode control techniques. No prior off-line training phase is required, and this scheme exploits the advantages of both neural network control and sliding mode control. An on-line stable adaptive law is derived using Lyapunov theory. The number of neurons and the width of Gaussian function should be chosen carefully. Performance of the controller is demonstrated through computer simulation.

  • 본 논문에서 마이크로스트립 라인을 사용한 가변 위상 천이기를 제안한다. 인가 전압의 변화에 따라 강유전체의 상대 유전율이 변하는 특성을 이용하여 tunable 특성을 얻었고. 구조는 Au/BSTO/MgO/Au로 설계하였다. 제한 된 면적에서 특정 주파수에서의 위상 편이를 증가시키기 위여 여러 개의 커플링을 연결한 구조를 이용하였고. 금속 도체의 선폭을 줄여 손실을 줄였다.

Modeling and Simulation of Line Edge Roughness for EUV Resists

  • With the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography, the performance limit of chemically amplified resists has recently been extended to 16- and 11-nm nodes. However, the line edge roughness (LER) and the line width roughness (LWR) are not reduced automatically with this performance extension. In this paper, to investigate the impacts of the EUVL mask and the EUVL exposure process on LER, EUVL is modeled using multilayer-thin-film theory for the mask structure and the Monte Carlo (MC) method for the exposure process. Simulation results demonstrate how LERs of the mask transfer to the resist and the exposure process develops the resist LERs.

  • Underwear made of plain and 1$\times$1 rib-knit cotton fabric were laundered to evaluate the change of the size and the tensile properties. For laundering pulsator and drum washers were used. After 30 washing cycles the amount of shrinkage and the extension were different with washer types. Underwear laundered by the drum type was shrunken in the neck line armhole line and hem line were extended and the bodice width and side length were shrunken,. Tensile strength of the knitted fabric was not decreased through repeated washings because the fabric density was increased. But it was confirmed by SEM that the surface of the fiber was damaged by washings.

  • The aim of this study was to find the initial design value of turbine blade for electrical type turbocompound system generating 10 kW. Turbocompound is one of the waste heat recovery system applying to internal combustion engine to recover exhaust gas energy that was about 30 % of total input energy. To design the turbine blade, 1-D mean line flow model was used. Exhaust gas temperature, pressure, flow rate and turbine rotating speed was fixed as primary boundary conditions. The velocity triangles was defined and used to determine the rotor inlet radius and width, the rotor outlet radius at shroud and radius at hub, the rotor flow angles and the number of blades.

  • 에지는 영상에서 위치와 모양 등에 대한 다양한 정보를 포함하고 있다. 그러므로, 이러한 에지를 검출하기 위한 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔으며, 초기에 사용한 에지 검출 연산자는 인접한 화소를 조사하고, 각 화소들 사이에 대한 관계를 이용하는 것이었다. 그러나, 이러한 방법들은 노이즈가 존재하는 영상에서는 우수한 성능을 나타내지 못하며, 선택적인 에지 검출이 불가능하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 라인 폭에 의존하지 않는 웨이브렛 함수를 사용하여, AWGN에 훼손된 영상으로부터 라인-에지 성분을 검출하였다.
