  • Every complex vector bundle over $S^1$ splits sum of line bundle and the first Chern class classify complex line bundle. This implies every complex vector bundle over $S^1$ is trivial. In this paper, we show the existence of some nontrivial complex vector bundle over $S^1$ in the equivariant case.

  • For 4-conductor bundle transmission line spacer damper are equipped so as to keep the spacing between sub conductors. For 4-conductor bundle the subspan spacing of a spacer damper is determined and applied in order that the bundle may get restored to a normal state when 4-conductor bundle is rolled by rigid body vibration due to wind. But 4 conductors of 345kV 4-conductor bundle transmission line were twisted by the angle of $315^{\circ}$ for the first time korea. In this paper, we will analyze the reason of the power line twisting of 4-conductor bundle which occurred for the first time in korea and offer the preventive countermeasures for this

  • Let G be a topological group and X a G space. For a given nonequivariant vector bundle over X there does not always exist a G equivariant vector bundle structure. In this paper we find some sufficient conditions for nonequivariant real line bundles to have G equivariant vector bundle structures.

Impact of Central Line Insertion Bundle on the Adherence of Bundle and Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections in the Operating Room (수술실에서 중심정맥관 삽입 시 번들적용이 중심정맥관 관련 혈류감염에 미치는 영향)

  • Background: This study purposed to examine how the incidence of the central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) in a operating room (OR) is affected by bundle application on central line insertion (CLI) practice. Methods: The study design was a pretest-posttest experimental trial. The subjects were 83 patients before the bundle application on CLI and 70 patients after. Results: The compliance(%) of bundle on CLI of among those who observed all of the five items increased from 7.2% before the intervention to 72.9% after. By items, compliance with the maximal barrier precaution was 100% for the use of a mask and cap before and after the intervention, but increased from 73.5% before the intervention to 88.6% after for the hand hygiene, from 73.5% to 88.6% for the use of a sterile gown, and from 9.6% to 75.7% for the use of a sterile large drape covering the whole body. CLABSI did not happen on CLI either before or after the application of the bundle intervention. Conclusion: Bundle application increased compliance with the use of a sterile gown and the use of a sterile large drape. However, its effect in the prevention of CLABSI was not clear probably due to the short period of intervention in a single hospital.

  • It has been issued that the necessity of Live line work for 765kV vertical double circuit six bundle conductors transmission line when the characteristics of transmission line, the composition of T/L and near the T/L circumstances etc. Others are considered. The Barehand method of UHV T/L is extremely dangerous work and especially it is directly related with lineman life so it is very dangerous. It should be performed several technology developments for live-line work on the UHV T/L, that should be considered such as the electrical influence on workers near the T/L, development of live-line facilities, guarantee of safety, the technical rules of live-line work, the safe method of live-line work and etc. In order to maintain the 765kV transmission lines safely by barehand work, first of all, we should know the analysis of electrical safety level test in live-line work at 765kV vertical double circuit six bundle conductors on the suspension string tower type.

Decreasing Technique of the Electric-field Intensity on Transmission Conductor Surface using the Hybrid Conductor Bundle (2종소도체 배열방식을 적용한 송전도체 표면전계강도 저감기법)

  • Corona discharges form at the surface of a transmission line conductor when the electric-field intensity on the conductor surface exceeds the breakdown strength of air. In order to decrease the electric-field intensity on the conductor surface, a new 6 conductor bundle has been studied. This bundle, hybrid conductor bundle, consists of using a larger subconductor at the bottom two conductor positions in the 6-conductor bundles of each phase of the line. The electric field on these two larger subconductors is reduced which in turn reduces the corona noise. It is shown that this is a better solution for decreasing the electric-field intensity than ether the conventional bundle or the asymmetric bundle proposed by EPRI.
