LED 점등 세기가 젖소의 생산성, 혈액 매개변수 및 면역 반응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of LED Lighting Intensity on Productivity, Blood Parameters and Immune Responses in Dairy Cows)

  • A light-emitting diode (LED) is most efficient in terms of economic benefits. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of LED lighting intensity on milk production, milk composition, and the immune response of Holstein cows. Thirty-eight lactating cows were assigned to four experimental groups: control group (exposed natural daylight without LED light) and three LED treatment group (50 lux; natural daylight and 6 h LED light of 50 lux intensity, 100 lux; natural daylight and 6 h LED light of 100 lux intensity, 200 lux; natural daylight and 6 h LED light of 200 lux intensity). There was a significant effect on the decrease ratio in milk production in 200 lux group. Lactose was significantly increased in 100 lux than the other LED treated groups. In addition to the hemolytic biochemical analysis, AST and β-HB were significantly increased in the 50 lux than the other groups. Prolactin and IGF-1 levels were significantly increased in 200 lux compared to other groups. Besides, cortisol was significantly higher in 50 lux and lowered in the 200 lux than the control, while IgA and IgG were not significant among the groups. Therefore, it was concluded that LED lighting intensity had some impact on blood parameters and immune responses in dairy cows with increased milk production.

  • This paper aimed to verify and develop lighting design data for offices in Korea. It focused on a Korean standard office value relative to lighting density and the evaluation of lighting energy and cooling load. When planning indoor lighting design, we generally utilize the lighting density value which is set $14W/m^2$ by the ASHRAE/IES standard office value. However, the value is not appropriate to apply in Korea where higher efficiency lamps are more popular than others. For calculation of a proper lighting density of Korea, we analysed distribution curves of luminous intensity(2-lamp fluorescent lighting fixture with Parabolic) and derived the new lighting density $12.64W/m^2$ as Korea standard office value. In the simulation using this value, it was shown that lighting energy and cooling load could be reduced.

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 LED 실내조명을 위한 효율적인 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 지능형 LED 실내조명을 위한 효율적인 제어 시스템은 스케줄 정의에 의한 조명 스타일과 재실 감지에 의한 조명 스타일에 PIR 센서와 조도 센서에 의해 측정되는 주광강도와 같은 요소를 포함시켜 무선 센서 네트워크로 점등제어를 하고 에너지 절감을 할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 또한, 재실감지에 의한 실내조명 점등제어는 PIR 센서를 사용하여 미세 움직임을 감지하고, 창측과 내측의 불필요한 조명 밝기 제어는 조도센서를 이용하여 주광의 수준을 측정하여 제어하였으며, 주광 유입량이 많은 경우 창측 조명은 자동으로 어두워지고, 적으면 조명이 자동으로 밝아지도록 설계하였다. 제안하는 지능형 LED 실내조명을 위한 효율적인 제어 시스템의 효율성 검증 결과, 외부 조명이나 주광이 조금이라도 실내로 유입되면 실내조명의 밝기를 실시간으로 제어하여 에너지 절감 효과를 극대화할 수 있었다.

사용자 요구조도 만족 스마트 조명 관리시스템 (A Smart Lighting Management System with Satisfaction of User's Lighting Requirements)

  • In this paper, we proposed a smart lighting management system controls the lighting efficiently to reduce energy consumption while satisfying user's lighting requirements. The proposed system considers the available daylight intensity and indoor light source to satisfy the lighting requirements of each user according to the work environment. In addition, for user convenience, we have developed different user interfaces for lighting control including local interface, and remote interface through internet or Bluetooth for personal computer as well as smart phones. The proposed system satisfies the lighting requirements of each user according to the corresponding work environment. The proposed smart lighting management system utilizes the lighting energy efficiently, and can be considered a significant contribution towards future green buildings.

  • In this paper, the intelligent landscape lighting power control and monitoring system with solar sell generator equipment is proposed. The first, the intelligent landscape lighting power controller is designed using the fuzzy logic control method. And the fuzzy logic controller is used to save power consumption for various reference intensity of the illumination. The second, the GUI monitoring system is presented. It has control and display faculty. And the practical experiment device is used to evaluate the performance criteria of the proposed intelligent landscape lighting power control system with the solar cell power generation equipment. From the experiment results, we present the property of proposed fuzzy controller such as steady state error, the tracking and power consumption characteristic for the reference intensity of illumination. And also we show the superiority of power control as well as the characteristic of GUI monitoring system in the proposed system.

주거공간을 위한 IT결합 광선반시스템 개발 연구 -조명에너지 저감을 중심으로- (A Study on Light-shelf system based on IT in Housing Space -Focus on Lighting Energy Saving-)

  • The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the light-shelf system combined with IT to save lighting energy in resident space. According to the multiple variables that affected intensity of illumination, various experiments were designed and conducted. The main findings of this study were following: (1)the optimal level of light-shelf system was formulated which met the appropriate range of intensity of illumination in living-room; (2)although the mixed light-shelf system indicated a high performance, it could often provide discomforts to residents according to the degree of exposure; (3)artificial lights using light-shelf system combined with IT showed a higher effectiveness than those using fixed light-shelf system displayed. This study provided initial information of light-shelf system formative processes that could contribute to the lighting energy diminution. Future studies should focus more on multiple approaches regarding different types of resident space planning.

  • 배광분포를 측정함으로써 조명기구의 모든 광학적 특성을 계산해낼 수 있으며 이를 바탕으로 조명설계를 수행할 수 있다. 이러한 일련의 측정과 해석을 위해 배광측정기의 개발시에 배광해석용 소프트웨어 개발이 동시에 이루어져야 한다 연구진이 현재 개발하고 있는 소프트웨어는 조명기구의 광학적 특성을 파악하는 데 있어, 상당히 유용한 기능들을 포함하고 있다. 또한, 조명설계에 있어 근본적인 문제 해결의 과학적 검증을 제공함은 물론, 더 나아가 조명계산에 있어 하나의 표준을 마련하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

  • 본 실험은 상업공간 중에서 화장품매장 쇼케이스를 연구대상으로 하여 바람직한 쇼케이스 조명환경을 제시하고자 실험을 실시하였다. 쇼케이스 조명의 실험 결과, "명시성" 과 "차별성" 을 얻기 위해서는 내부 조도를 높게 하고 균등하게 밝히며, "정서성" 을 얻기 위해서는 적당한 조도로 수평 뒷면 조명과 수직 앞부분 조명을 하여 음영의 효과를 얻는 것이 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

방송조명에서 LED 배경화면이 영상품질에 미치는 영향 분석 (The effects of video quality by LED background image in the broadcasting lighting)

  • 최근 LED(Light Emitting Diode) 영상표시장치가 방송제작에 사용되고 있으나, 조명과 LED 영상표시장치 간의 상관관계가 정량적으로 분석되지 못해 HD방송의 영상품질 향상을 위해 사용되는 LED 영상표시장치의 효과를 제대로 구현하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 조명과 LED 배경화면의 명암비가 피사체에 미치는 명암 및 색채 변화를 실제 방송에서 사용되는 장비들을 이용한 실험을 통해 분석하여, LED 배경화면 명암비와 영상품질의 상관성을 정량적으로 나타냈다. 실험결과 LED 배경화면의 밝기를 6%로 할 경우, 피사체에 20[IRE] 정도의 영향을 미치면서 최적의 영상품질을 구현할 수 있었고, 밝은 LED 배경화면은 영상 명암에 왜곡현상을, 어두운 LED 배경화면은 영상 색에 왜곡현상을 발생시켰다.

COH형 LED 패키지를 이용한 가로등 생산공정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Manufacturing Processes of Street-lighting System using COH LED Package)

  • Recent high oil price results in the development of energy saving technology such as LED lighting system. Street-lighting system using COH LED package can save energy because the heat dissipation through cupper base is better than conventional technology. Studies on manufacturing processes of lighting system are insufficient even though LED package design and its heat analysis have been studied. This study focuses on the problem and solution of manufacturing processes such as LED packaging process, optimized emission angle, and LED bar dimension for mechanical assembly. As a result, we established better manufacturing alternatives of LED packaging and street-lighting system with higher lighting efficiency of 84 lm/W, as well as good illumination intensity of 39.7 lux at 6 m from lighting source.
