  • Patients who underwent hip arthroplasty using the conventional fat suppression technique (CHESS) and a new technique (IDEAL) were compared quantitatively to assess the effectiveness and usefulness of the IDEAL technique. In 20 patients who underwent hip arthroplasty from March 2009 to December 2010, fat suppression T2 and T1 weighted images were obtained on a 3.0T MR scanner using the CHESS and IDEAL techniques. The level of distortion in the area of interest, the level of the development of susceptibility artifacts, and homogeneous fat suppression were analyzed from the acquired images. Quantitative analysis revealed the IDEAL technique to produce a lower level of image distortion caused by the development of susceptibility artifacts due to metal on the acquired images compared to the CHESS technique. Qualitative analysis of the anterior area revealed the IDEAL technique to generate fewer susceptibility artifacts than the CHESS technique but with homogeneous fat suppression. In the middle area, the IDEAL technique generated fewer susceptibility artifacts than the CHESS technique but with homogeneous fat suppression. In the posterior area, the IDEAL technique generated fewer susceptibility artifacts than the CHESS technique. Fat suppression was not statistically different, and the two techniques achieved homogeneous fat suppression. In conclusion, the IDEAL technique generated fewer susceptibility artifacts caused by metals and less image distortion than the CHESS technique. In addition, homogeneous fat suppression was feasible. In conclusion, the IDEAL technique generates high quality images, and can provide good information for diagnosis.

  • We Consider the fuzzification of sub-implicative ideals in BCI-algebras, and investigate some related properties. We give conditions for a fuzzy ideal to be a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal. we show that (1) every fuzzy sub-implicative ideal is a fuzzy ideal, but the converse is not true, (2) every fuzzy sub-implicative ideal is a fuzzy positive implicative ideal, but the converse is not true, and (3) every fuzzy p-ideal is a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal, but the converse is not true. Using a family of sub-implicative ideals of a BCI-algebra, we establish a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal, and using a level set of a fuzzy set in a BCI-algebra, we give a characterization of a fuzzy sub-implicative ideal.

  • In this paper, we apply the concept of intuitionistic Q-fuzzy set to PMS-algebras. We study the concept of intuitionistic Q-fuzzy PMS-ideals of PMS-algebras and investigate some related properties of intuitionistic Q-fuzzy PMS-ideals of PMS-algebras. We provide the relationship between an intuitionistic Q-fuzzy PMS-subalgebra and an intuitionistic Q-fuzzy PMS-ideal of a PMS-algebra. We establish a condition for an intuitionistic Q-fuzzy set in a PMS-algebra to be an intuitionistic Q-fuzzy PMS-ideal of a PMS-algebra. Characterizations of intuitionistic Q-fuzzy PMS-ideals of PMS-algebras in terms of their level sets are given.

  • The fuzzification of an ideal in a Lie algebra is considered. Using a level subset of a fuzzy subset of a Lie algebra, we give a characterization of a fuzzy ideal, and using a family of ideals of a Lie algebra, we establish a fuzzy ideal. With relation to the ascending chain of ideals, a characterization for the set of values of any fuzzy ideal to be a well-ordered subset of the closed unit interval [0,1] is stated.

  • The notion of ideals in subtraction algebras and characterizations of ideals introduced by Y.B.Jun et al. [?]. Using this idea, we consider the fuzzification of an ideal of a subtraction algebra. In this paper, we define the concept of a fuzzy ideal of a subtraction algebra and study characterizations of a fuzzy ideal. We give some conditions to show that a fuzzy set in a subtraction algebra is a fuzzy ideal of a subtraction algebra. We investigate the generalization of some properties of a fuzzy ideal of a subtraction algebra.

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to examine the effects of the difference between actual and perceived body type and body cathexis on satisfaction with fit and 2) to identify the effect of the difference between chronological and ideal age of middle-aged woman on satisfaction with fit of ready-to-wear. For this study, questionnaires were administered to 500 middle-aged woman in Kwangju. Employing 402 respondents, data were analyzed by using $X^2$-test, t-test and Pearson Correlation. The results were as follows; 1) There were significant differences between actual and perceived body types among middle-aged women. Those who were inconsistent with actual and perceived body types had a tendency to perceive themselves to be obeser than actual body. 2) Those who were inconsistent with actual and perceived body types had a lower satisfaction level with apparel fit sites at jacket length, hip width, crotch length and waist width than those who were consistent with actual and perceived body types. 3) Correlation for body cathexis and satisfaction with fit of ready-to-wear was significantly positive. 4) There were significant differences between chronological and ideal ages. 5) Those who were inconsistent with chronological and ideal ages had a lower satisfaction level with apparel fit sites at neckline, shoulder width, bust, sleeve length, sleeve width, Jacket length, waist width, hip width and skirt length than those who were consistent with chronological and ideal ages.

  • Based on the theory of a bipolar fuzzy set, the notion of a bipolar fuzzy subring/ideal of a Near ring is introduced and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of a bipolar fuzzy subnear ring and a bipolar fuzzy ideal in near ring are established. Relations between a bipolar fuzzy ideal and a level cut are discussed. Using bipolar fuzzy ideals, we discuss characterizations of Noetherian Near ring.

  • Using a $Ir(ppy)_3$ doped in the TCTA:$Bepp_2$ mixed host and N- and P-doped in TCTA:$Bepp_2$ charge transport layers, an ideal energy level alignment technology is developed. A very low roll-off current efficiency of 7.4 % at a luminance of $10,000\;cd/m^2$ with this technology is demonstrated in green phosphorescent OLEDs.
