  • The purpose of this study was designed for the model development of curriculum of school health education including learning-teaching method, through analysis of results compared between a regular schedule health instruction and irregular health education. And this study is an attempt to give fundamental information for establishing of school health subject as the concept and scope of the school health subject is still not recognized and accepted satisfactorily in Korea. The data were collected by questionnaire from middle school girls and were carried out from 1989 to 1991. The major results obtained from this study were as follows: A Analysis of the case of school health. instruction 1. The responses of students about health eaducation : The positive rate of answers on the 'Health education is very important subject' was 91.2%, and on the 'I can maintain well healthful life : int of selfcare' was 87.1%. 2. The condition on knowledge, attitude and practice about health education: Education group had higher scores than comparison group about all most of questions, especially sex-education and drug abuse prevention education. 3. All the case of disease early founded out during the health instruction were children disease such as bone-tumor, lymphoma, hydrocephalus, and leukemia. B. • Purpose: This research is a case study on a problem-based learning (PBL) model with blended learning in a nursing college. Methods: The target students were nursing sophomores in a nursing college who agreed to participate in a blended learning course and to be subjects in this study for 15 weeks. The questionnaires developed by Baek (2003) and Lee (2007) were modified and applied to collect data. Results: The students' satisfaction with the blending learning was the highest in the item "Online community activities were helpful in enhancing knowledge." The level of satisfaction with PBL was the highest in the item "It was helpful to listen my classmates' opinions rather than thinking all by myself." Conclusion: This study is suggestive that blended learning is effective to improve learning satisfaction by reinforcing practicality of face-to-face study to online learning. Various learning methods based on students' demands and preferences should be applied in nursing education.

  • Recently, corpus assisted vocabulary instruction has been attracting a lot of interest. Most studies have focused on understanding language learners' receptive vocabulary knowledge. Limited attention has been paid to learners' productive competence. To fill this gap, this study attended to learners' productive lexical development in terms of form, meaning and use respectively. This study introduced EFL learners to the corpus-based language pedagogy to learn COVID-19 theme-based vocabulary. To investigate the gains and views of 33 EFL first-year college students, a sentence completion task and a questionnaire were developed. Learners' productive performances in the three lexical knowledge aspects (i.e., form, meaning and use) were particularly targeted. The results revealed that the students achieved significant gains in all aspects regardless of their proficiency level. In particular, the less proficient students achieved greater knowledge retention compared with their highly proficient counterparts. Meanwhile, students showed positive attitudes towards the corpus-based approach to vocabulary learning.

  • The purpose of this study is to present various examples of collaborative learning based on the Instruction of Internet in the 6th grade elementary school mathematics class. So we introduce the design method of classroom environment for classroom Internet and give example of various teaching methods. This study was conducted for nine months from March to November, 2016, one sixth grade of elementary school in D area. During this period, we conducted Instruction of Internet-based collaborative learning to classify typical teaching cases. We classified into 5 type collaborative learning. First, collaborative learning in the classroom. Second, remote collaborative learning between classroom and classroom. Third, Live participation classes. Forth, project collaborative learning. Fifth, using virtual reality in collaborative learning. In addition, we could identify that there is a difference compared to the conventional learning. It became possible to conduct collaborative learning with other students simultaneously or have opening class with both parents and teachers by using Youtube. These examples can be presented as a case to depart from traditional mathematics class in one classroom. In this regard, we will be able to provide several implications about teaching methods utilizing smart device and Internet in future classroom.

  • In this paper, we studied about method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and about the educational effects of a web based practice instruction. And, in practice instruction, we examined about role and influence of instructor, learner and manager. This study shows the method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and interaction activities in a "construction of e-business system" curriculum to support the informational education for an industrial workers. The research subject was the 15 industrial workers who enrolled a informational instruction coulee provided for two weeks by kimpo college, As a research method, workers survey, interview, and profile analysis were used for this study. The result of this study show that interaction between instructor, learner and manager was not executed actively, but the manner of lecturing about interest of learner, usage of email, question and answer of bulletin board, online-practice were brought an effect on interaction of learner activities and the educational effects.l effects.

  • As a result of the rapid development in the digital content industry, designers have to visualize colors across a range of digital media in a relevant and sophisticated manner. The purpose of this study is to develop a new digital color design education curriculum for enhancing learners' capability of digital color management. This study presents an original university-level color design curriculum for digital color learning that includes traditional color learning. In order to develop interactive pedagogy that provides diverse color experiences to students, this study suggestes a blended learning method that combines face-to-face instruction and web-based instruction. Through two case studies at universities, this paper illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed digital color design curriculum.

  • This case study explored the potential for implementing content-based English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction in a Korean middle school facilitated by computer-mediated communication (CMC). The instructor scaffolded the student participant's language learning online, helping her to produce English output on her own. While experimental social studies lessons on the topic of stereotyping were taught, data were collected on the student's online exchanges with her counterpart in Iran about their respective cultures. Findings show that the student from Korea was able to better understand her own culture as a result of the online experience. This interaction and the in-class lessons have demonstrated that content-based EFL instruction is a viable alternative to the school's existing curriculum.

  • Goos(2004) introduced educational researchers' demand for change on the way that mathematics is taught in schools and the series of curriculum documents produced by the National council of Teachers of Mathematics. The documents have placed emphasis on the processes of problem solving, reasoning, and communication. In Korea, the national curriculum documents have also placed increased emphasis on mathematical activities such as reasoning and communication(1997, 2007).The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of inquiry-oriented instruction with guided reinvention on students' mathematical activities containing communication and reasoning for science high school students. In this paper, we introduce an inquiry-oriented instruction containing Polya's plausible reasoning, Freudenthal's guided reinvention, Forman's sociocultural approach of learning, and Vygotsky's zone of proximal development. We analyze the impact of mathematical findings from inquiry-oriented instruction on students' mathematical activities containing communication and reasoning.

  • This study is to analyze the effects on using robots in elementary regular classes. The robots and PC-linked applications were developed considering the school subjects' academic goals and the learners' responses were carefully examined while applying the robots in the class. The image profile after the robot application shows positive feedbacks in most of the contents and some significant differences were found in contents such as 'theoretical-practical', 'uncooperative-cooperative'(p<.05). Moreover, the analysis on the learners' image drawings shows that more robot images are formed related to the concrete learning environment. The learners have answered in an interview to evaluate their understanding of Robot based instruction that both direct and indirect robot experience induce positive participations and provide authentic learning experience. During the robot based instruction, the learners cooperate with their group members and recognize the cooperation as a positive activity. It proves that the robot based instruction can lead to a possibility of new education paradigm.
