An Analysis of the Case Study on Tablet Computer based Mobile Learning Environment

타블렛 컴퓨터를 활용한 모바일 학습사례 분석

An analysis of the case study was reported to pioneer the perceptions of teachers, students, and parents for the educational use of tablet computers. The findings showed that the amount of learning, various learning activities, interest, and motivation of learners increased and that the teachers perceived the potentiality of the tablet computer and the necessity of a training for designing mobile-based instructions.

무선 인터넷 기기를 활용한 모바일 학습 환경에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 모바일 학습 연구 중에서 노트북, PDA, Handheld에 비해 타블렛 컴퓨터에 관한 연구는 상대적으로 드물다. 본 연구에서는 실제 학교 현장에서 이루어진 타블렛 컴퓨터의 활용 사례를 분석하여 그 교육적인 유용성 및 잠재적인 활용 가능성에 관한 참여자들의 인식과 관심을 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 타블렛컴퓨터를 활용했을 때 학습자들의 경우 학습량이 증가하고 학습 방법이 다양해졌을 뿐만 아니라 흥미와 관심도도 증가하였다. 교사들의 경우, 타블렛 컴퓨터의 교육적인 잠재성을 인식하였고 모바일 학습 기기를 활용한 교수-학습 모형에도 관심을 보였다.
