  • In general, ZnO lighting arrester are known to exhibit an increases in resistive current with time, the rate of increase being exacerbated with increasing applied voltage. In addition, since the resistive leakage current caused by deterioration of ZnO lighting arrester mainly caused an increase of the third harmonic component, thereby it is possible the arrester degradation diagnosis by measuring the third harmonic component in the total leakage current. So, in this paper, we presents a leakage current measuring and analysis system of 18[kV] ZnO lighting arrester.

혼합냉매의 누출과정에 관한 시뮬레이션 (Simulation of a Leakage Process of Refrigerant Mixtures)

  • Nonflammable mixtures of flammable and nonflammable refrigerants are possible as substitute refrigerants for use in domestic heat pumps and refrigerators. Refrigerant leakage from such a system is of paramount concern since it is possible that the resulting mixture composition remaining in system will reside in the flammable range. This paper presents a simulation of a leakage process of refrigerant mixtures. Idealized cases of isothermal leakage process are considered in this study representing a slow leak. Simulation is performed for selected composition of binary and ternary refrigerant mixture; R-32/134a and R-32/125/134a. Mixture compositions with respect to percentage leak of original charge are presented. In isothermal leakage process, both vapor and liquid compositions of more volatile refrigerant decrease during vapor and liquid leak, but the total composition of this component decreases during vapor leak and increases during liquid leak. Vapor and liquid compositions are determined depending on the vapor-liquid equilibrium relation of the refrigerant mixture. The refrigerant mixture left in the system can go to a nonflammable direction relying on which component in the mixture is flammable.

경제성을 고려한 지방상수도 목표 유수율 산정 (Calculation of the target revenue water ratio of local waterworks considering economic feasibility)

  • As an advanced study on the method of calculating the target revenue water ratio of local waterworks through the leakage component analysis method proposed by Kim et al. (2022), this study developed a model to calculate the achievable revenue water ratio within the specified project cost, the required project cost to achieve the specified target revenue water ratio, and the economically appropriate target revenue water ratio level by considering the leakage reduction cost and leakage reduction benefit for each revenue water ratio improvement strategy, and conducted an applicability evaluation of the developed model using actual field data. The procedure for calculating the target revenue water ratio of local waterworks considering economics proposed in this study consists of three stages: physical data linkage model construction, leakage component analysis, and economic analysis, and the applicability was evaluated for Zone H with branch type and the Zone M network type. As a result of the application, it was calculated that approximately 32.5 billion won would be required to achieve the target revenue water ratio of 70% in the Zone H, and approximately KRW 10.5 billion would be required to achieve the target revenue water ratio of 75% in the Zone M. If the business scale of Zones H and M was corrected to 10,000 m3/day of water usage, the required project cost for a 1% improvement in the revenue water ratio of Zone H was calculated to be 0.7642 billion won and 0.4715 billion won for Zone M.

적분기를 이용한 저항성 누전전류 작동방식 누전차단기 개발 (Development of an Earth Leakage Breaker Operating by Resistive Leakage Current using a Resetable Integrator)

  • The former earth leakage breaker is operating by total leakage current which is the vector-sum of resistive leakage current and capacitive leakage current. However, the electric disaster like the electric shock and fire is caused mainly by resistive leakage current. Therefore, the earth leakage breaker is ideal when it is operating by resistive leakage current. In this paper, the theory for finding the component of resistive leakage current from total leakage current is suggested and it is embodied to actual circuit. The resistive leakage current can be found by integrating the total leakage current during half cycle of line voltage. Thus, we can simply find resistive leakage current by using OP-AMP integrators, and we can confirm that the resistive leakage current is computed exactly from total leakage current obtained by resistive leakage current and capacitive leakage current. The results that the earth leakage breaker is operating within regular interrupt time are verified when the former earth leakage breaker's controller circuit is replaced by the proposed controller circuit.

계측자료 분석에 의한 필댐의 장기 침투거동 연구 (A Study on Long-Term Seepage Behaviour of Fill Dam by the Monitoring Data Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 중앙심벽형 필댐인 주암댐과 임하댐을 대상으로 자동계측에 의해 연속적으로 생산되는 침투수량 계측자료에 대하여 분석을 통하여 필댐 고유의 특성에 따른 장기 침투특성과 댐의 안전관리 방법을 검토하고자 하였다. 필댐의 침투수량 계측값에는 내재 하는 강우 성분 등의 외부 요인의 영향으로 직접적으로 이상 누수의 발생을 검출하는 것은 어렵다. 이 때문에, 종래 저수위와 강우량을 고려하는 중회귀분석 등에 의해 누수량을 추정하는 방법이 적용되어 왔으나, 강우 성분의 추정 오차가 상대적으로 크고 정밀도가 불량한 것으로 알려졌다. 본 논문에서는 강우 성분의 분리해석을 통해 직접적으로 강우 성분에 영향을 받지 않는 저수지 수위에 연동하는 댐별 침투거동을 평가함과 아울러 분석대상 댐의 지형적, 수리지질학적 특성을 반영한 3차원 수치해석을 실시하여 계측 침투수량 자료와 비교하였다. 2개 대상댐의 침투거동은 각각의 고유한 특징을 가지고 있으며, 장기적으로 침투수량의 감소를 보여주고 있어 안정적인 상태로 나타났다. 또한, 수문곡선분리법은 침투수 안전관리 방법으로 적용가능한 것으로 판단되었다.

Salt fog에 의한 오손된 EPDM애자의 누설전류 파형 분석 (Analysis on Waveform of Leakage Current of Contaminated EPDM Insulators by Salt Fog)

  • This paper presents the results of power spectra using the fundamental and low frequency harmonic components of leakage current waveform to study aging on contaminated EPDM insulator(was serviced during 1997-2001, region Pohang, korea) under salt fog conditions. Experiments have been conducted in the chamber salt fog and at the 16KVrms. The salt contents adjusted as 0g,25g,50g and 75g per liter of deionized water. The onset of dry-band arcing on polymer insulators could be determined by signal processing the low frequency harmonics components. A correlation has been found between the fundamental and low harmonic components of power spectra on leakage current. Where aging could be associated with an increase in the level of both the fundamental and low frequency harmonics components of leakage current. Surface aging for contaminated EPDM insulators occurred when the fundamental component of leakage current was greater then some level On the other hand, when the polymer insulator approached failure, the fundamental component of leakage current reached relatively high values and low frequency harmonics components of the leakage current trended to decrease. The results suggest that both the fundamental and low frequency harmonics of leakage current can be used as a tool to determine both the beginning of aging and before flashover, end of life EPBM insulator in salt fog.

자기 포화와 누설자속이 고려된 자기등가회로법을 이용한 클로우 폴 스테핑 모터의 요크 형상 설계 (Yoke Shape Design of Claw-Poles Stepping Motor Using Modified Magnetic Equivalent Circuit Method Including Magnetic Saturation Effect and Leakage Flux)

  • This paper presents a shape design process of Claw-Poles Stepping Motor(CPSM) using Modified Magnetic Equivalent Circuit Method(MMEC). Because this motor is adopted on low power devices, the motor size is a very small type. But it have a very strong permanent magnet. So magnetic saturation effect happens on yoke teeth of CPSM. Also this magnetic saturation effect causes more leakage flux component between yoke tooth have another pole. In this motor type, it is essential to design a shape of yoke teeth for avoiding the magnetic saturation effect and the leakage flux. In this paper, MMEC including the magnetic saturation effect and the leakage flux component was used for design process. Comparing with data calculated by using the MMEC and results analyzed by 3-D FEM, it could be stated that the design process with MMEC was reasonable. Finally, the model has the optimized shape of yoke teeth was compared with a conventional model for no-load Back EMF and torque at steady-state operation.

  • In this paper, to understand the effect of forest fires on polymer insulators for transmission lines, it was observed the aging of the housing surface of the polymer insulators. And, this paper shows the way how to create the artificial field testing in order to simulate forest fire. As the results of, maximum leakage current peaks by influence of flame increased from 1[mA] to 1.4[mA], and SEM results show the inorganic component on the housing surface because the organic component matters disappeared. Therefore, the case of exposed by forest fire, polymer insulator can be used in the early stage, but an exchange needs active countermeasure to be stabilize power delivery.

공기압실린더의 누설유량 계측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement Method of Leakage for Pneumatic Cylinder)

  • In this study, a measurement method of leakage flow-rate for pneumatic driving apparatus is proposed. The existing measurement methods of leakage flow-rate of air need disassemble the test component. Therefore, there is no effective method to measure the leakage flow-rate while operating pneumatic driving apparatus. In this study, the leakage flow-rate is measured from the pressure change in an isothermal chamber that can realize isothermal conditions by stuffing the steel wool into it. Therefore, a wide range of flow-rate could be measured only from the pressure response and the leakage flow-rate can be measured during operating pneumatic driving apparatus. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by experimental results.
