연구개발 특성이 기업 연구 성과에 미치는 영향 분석 - 국제화된 한국 중소기업을 중심으로 - (An Analysis of the Effect of R&D Characteristics of Firms on R&D Performance)

  • The main purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships between the R&D characteristics and R&D performance for Korean enterprises. We divided R&D performance into technological and business launching performance and analyzed four R&D characteristics' effect on the performance. The empirical analysis results can be summarized as follows: First, R&D characteristics of enterprises show a strong relationship with R&D performance in the case of R&D process control. Second, firm capability and information routine positively affect to technological performance at 0.1 significant level but not showing significance in the case of business launching performance. Third, managerial support negatively affects to technological performance but dose not show statistical significance. Its effect on business launching performance, however, shows positive and significant effect. This result is expected to be highly suggestive for establishing the effective R&D strategies of enterprises and also the relevant overseas marketing plan to support R&D planning.

  • Now, GPS survey is used on equipment from leisure to precise geodetic survey and nation admits the result of GPS survey. When surveyors perform precise GPS survey, they use post processing method but they greatly use real time processing method to consider field status. Especially, when surveyors measure the result of moving target, they use real time GPS survey to the best method. For this study, the author precisely surveyed distance of ship launching from shipyard on real time using real time precise GPS method. In this paper, the author compares and examines the accuracy of first real time precise GPS survey method nationally and the capability on use. And the author performed real time precise GPS survey in NOKBONG and 21C shipyard positioning at GEOJEDO.

  • For the purpose of launching strikes, initial survivability of self-propelled artilleries is of crucial importance despite the fact that they are mobility weapon systems. This study identifies the combat placement possibility of the reinforced concrete box-type artillery positions, which might enable the replacement of the current igloo-types, in terms of cost and protection capability. In the numerical analysis the obtained numerical values have proved that these facilities have sufficient protection capability. In addition, it could be concluded that these facilities are also cost-competitive, if more than five positions are constructed simultaneously.

  • The stern boat deployment system was investigated to evaluate the capability of launching and recovering rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) via the stern ramp. The main parameters to launch and recover RHIB were tested at the design stage. The combined hydrodynamic effect of the stern wake and the water jet flow made it difficult to maintain the maneuvering and sea-keeping ability of RHIB approaching to the stern ramp. The safe recovery course was proposed to maintain the directional control of RHIB and to reduce the combined hydrodynamic effect in the transom zone. To evaluate the feasibility of RHIB recovery, the stern sill depth was measured in various conditions and the ramp availability time was obtained. Also, the experimental percent time operability (PTO) test was performed by the number of successive launching and recovering operations.

  • 탄도미사일은 발사 후 탐지 및 요격이 어렵고, 빠른 비행속도로 인해 대응 시간이 제한되어 주변 및 관련 국가에 매우 위협적인 무기체계이다. 최근 북한의 탄도미사일 발사 시험은 우리나라는 물론 세계 각국의 관심과 우려를 자아내고 있으며, 특히 2012년에는 은하3호 장거리 로켓을 이용하여 광명성 3호 인공위성을 성공적으로 발사함으로써 대륙간탄도미사일(ICBM, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) 개발 능력을 전 세계에 과시하였다. 본 논문에서는 탄도미사일의 역사와 분류 기준에 따른 종류 및 세계 각국이 보유하고 있는 탄도미사일의 위협에 대해 조사하여 기술하였다.

지식기반형 수출기업의 개방형혁신 성과와 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance and the Influence factors of Open Innovation of Knowledge-based Exporting companies.)

  • Knowledge-based exporting companies in Korea have reached a stage to develop new technological innovation and to pioneer new markets. But, developing new technologies and launching new products require an enormous sum of money for Research and Development(R&D) and there is still uncertainty in technological development and markets. Therefore, through open technological innovation, they are encouraged to actively use external technological sources and ideas. They also need to enhance the efficiency of the relatively little R&D investment. In this paper, firstly, it conducts a precedent study on the concept and influence factors of knowledge-based exporting companies and open technological innovation. Secondly, it sets a study model and estimates a regression coefficient to analyze the influence factors of open technological innovation of knowledge-based exporting companies which are using external resources on the process of innovation. Through case study and empirical analysis, we are going to find the implication of open technological innovation and prepare the way of the innovation for the knowledge-based exporting companies. According to the empirical analysis, variables such as firm size, processing degree, product life, patent registration, maintaining internal security didn't have positive effects on open innovation performance. On the other hand, research capability and market preoccupancy had positive effects. Therefore, to succeed in open innovation, knowledge-based exporting companies not only need to secure research capability through open innovation, but also need to preoccupy the market through commercialization of developed product.

  • 최초의 인공위성이 발사에 성공해 LEO에 투입된 이래 발사체와 더불어 로켓엔진의 성능은 비약적으로 향상되었다. 최초의 인공위성인 스푸트닉 1호는 단지 182 파운드(83 kg)의 배구공만한 크기였으나 지금의 인공위성은 10톤을 훌쩍 넘는 것도 있으며 러시아의 프로들 발사체의 경우에는 임무에 따라 22 톤까지의 위성을 궤도에 투입시킬 수 있다. 이렇듯 시간이 흐르면서 발사체의 성능이 향상되고 그에 따라 보다 높은 성능의 엔진이 요구되어왔지만, 로켓엔진은 언제나 보다 크고 커다란 추력을 내는 방향으로만 그 개발이 진행된 것은 아니었다. 80년대 이후 상업적 로켓이 등장하면서 보다 효율적으로 주어진 임무를 달성할 수 있는 경제적인 로켓의 개발이 또 하나의 주류를 이룬 것이다. 이 연구에서는 발사체의 성능과 엔진과의 상관관계를 연구하여 보다 효율적이며 경제적인 엔진 개발의 참고 자료로 활용하고자 작성되었다.

한국 수출기업의 혁신활동에 따른 영향요인과 수출성과에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Factors Influencing the Innovations of Korea's Exporting Companies and Export Performance)

  • 새로운 기술개발과 신제품 출시에는 막대한 연구개발비가 필요하고, 시장의 불확실성도 존재한다. 이에 비해 우리나라의 수출기업들은 선진기업에 비해 연구개발 투자비의 절대규모가 작고 누적 기술자산도 부족한 실정이다. 그러므로 개방형 혁신을 통해 외부의 기술을 활용하고 상대적으로 적은 연구개발 투자비의 효율성을 제고할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 수출기업의 혁신활동에 따른 각각의 영향요인을 도출하고, 이러한 혁신활동이 수출성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 혁신활동을 폐쇄형 혁신활동과 개방형 혁신활동으로 구분하고, 혁신활동의 영향요인인 기업특성요인, 연구특성요인, 상품특성요인을 독립변수로, 수출성과를 종속변수로 하는 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 회귀분석결과 기업규모, 신상품 출시기간은 혁신활동 각각에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 연구역량과 연구성과는 폐쇄형 혁신활동에만 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개방형 혁신활동은 수출성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 폐쇄형 혁신활동은 수출성과에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

무인지상차량과의 합동운용을 위한 동축반전 회전익형 무인항공기 개념연구 (Conceptual Study on Coaxial Rotorcraft UAV for teaming operation with UGV)

  • 무인지상차량을 통해 수직이착륙 무인항공기의 운반, 발사, 귀환 및 재충전 기능을 제공함으로서 두 체계의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 무인항공기-무인지상차량 합동운용 개념이 제시되었다. 합동운용 개념은 두 체계의 물리적 결합을 통해 무인지상차량의 감시정찰 범위를 확대하고, 수직이착륙 무인항공기의 운용능력을 확장할 수 있는 개념이다. 체계간의 유연하고 정확한 인터페이스를 제공하기 위해 구형 동체를 가지는 동축반전 회전익형 무인항공기의 형상이 제안되었다. 무인항공기의 정밀착륙을 위해 영상기반 목표추적 기법이 포함된 복합항법 기술이 검토되었고, 실험적 연구가 수행되었다. 또한, 탑재된 회전익형 비행체에 콤팩트한 형상을 제공하기 위한 길이-가변 로터의 구현 가능성에 대해서도 기술하였다.

Overview of new developments in satellite geophysics in 'Earth system' research

  • Space-borne Earth observation technique is one of the most cost effective and rapidly advancing Earth science research tools today and the potential field and micro-wave radar applications have been leading the discipline. The traditional optical imaging systems including the well known Landsat, NOAA - AVHRR, SPOT, and IKONOS have steadily improved spatial imaging resolution but increasing cloud covers have the major deterrent. The new Earth observation satellites ENVISAT (launched on March 1 2002, specifically for Earth environment observation), ALOS (planned for launching in 2004 - 2005 period and ALOS stands for Advanced Land Observation Satellite), and RADARSAT-II (planned for launching in 2005) all have synthetic aperture radar (SAR) onboard, which all have partial or fully polarimetric imaging capabilities. These new types of polarimetric imaging radars with repeat orbit interferometric capabilities are opening up completely new possibilities in Earth system science research, in addition to the radar altimeter and scatterometer. The main advantage of a SAR system is the all weather imaging capability without Sun light and the newly developed interferometric capabilities, utilizing the phase information in SAR data further extends the observation capabilities of directional surface covers and neotectonic surface displacements. In addition, if one can utilize the newly available multiple frequency polarimetric information, the new generation of space-borne SAR systems is the future research tool for Earth observation and global environmental change monitoring. The potential field strength decreases as a function of the inverse square of the distance between the source and the observation point and geophysicists have traditionally been reluctant to make the potential field observation from any space-borne platforms. However, there have recently been a number of potential field missions such as ASTRID-2, Orsted, CHAMP, GRACE, GOCE. Of course these satellite sensors are most effective for low spatial resolution applications. For similar objects, AMPERE and NPOESS are being planned by the United States and France. The Earth science disciplines which utilize space-borne platforms most are the astronomy and atmospheric science. However in this talk we will focus our discussion on the solid Earth and physical oceanographic applications. The geodynamic applications actively being investigated from various space-borne platforms geological mapping, earthquake and volcano .elated tectonic deformation, generation of p.ecise digital elevation model (DEM), development of multi-temporal differential cross-track SAR interferometry, sea surface wind measurement, tidal flat geomorphology, sea surface wave dynamics, internal waves and high latitude cryogenics including sea ice problems.
