The Subjects for Examination & Criteria for Preparation of Test Questions of the Environmental Impact Assessor Qualifications Developed by DACUM (DACUM법을 이용한 환경영향평가사 자격의 시험과목 및 출제기준 개발 연구)

  • This paper is aimed to design for qualification structure and criteria for preparation of qualification test of the environmental impact assessor qualifications. In this study, a DACUM(Development A curriculum) method job analysis to extract contents such as task range, eligibility, examination standards, selection criteria of examination questions, examination methods, etc was done by an job analysis committee composed of 9 specialists in the industry and academia. In the first place, this report presents job analysis models by procedures for developing selection criteria of examination questions of the environmental impact assessor. The first step is preparation for job analysis(data research, interviews and selection of experts), the second step the establishment of job models(first expert council and site study), the third step the drawn-out of knowledge, skills, and tools(the second expert council and site study), the fourth step the selection of courses and an examination subject(the third expert council), the fifth step the establishment of guidelines for making questions(the third site study).

The Images of the Elderly Perceived by Mid and Older-aged Adults and Their Preparation for Later Life (중장년층이 인식하는 노인 이미지와 노후생활 준비도)

  • This study recruited adults aged 35 to 64 living in Daegu and Gyeongsang buk-do to analyze the images of the elderly perceived by the mid and older- aged adults and their preparation for later life. The results of this study are as follows: First, as for the images of elderly people recognized by the research subjects, psychological images were the most positive, followed by physical and social images. Those with a higher education level, full-time job, and parents alive had more positive images of the elderly. The psychological images were better in those married compared to singles or divorcees, and the higher the age considered as elderly, the better the psychological and social images of the elderly. Second, preparation for later life in the mid and older-aged adults was better in order of emotional and physical preparation, whereas economic and leisure and social preparation were not enough. Those who are female, those with a higher education level, higher average monthly household income, professional job, and full-time job, and those who have an older age in mind as a definition of elderly have been better prepared for later life. Third, it was found that the sub-factors of their images of elderly people and preparation for later life affected each other, and the more positive their images of elderly people, the better they had been prepared for later in life. The results of this research suggests a desirable direction for improving the images of the elderly, implicating the necessity of exploring measures to provide individual and social support and developing educational programs for successful life after retirement.

Factors influencing the career preparation behavior of dental hygiene students (치위생(학)과 학생의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Objectives: This study examined the professionalism, major satisfaction, self-leadership, and career preparation behavior of dental hygiene students, and examined the factors affecting career preparation behavior. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among dental hygiene students in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas of Korea, and finally, questionnaires submitted by 190 subjects were analyzed. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 21.0. Results: The average scores for professionalism, major satisfaction, self-leadership, and career preparation behavior among the evaluated subjects were 3.68±0.56, 3.44±0.46, 3.57±0.55, and 3.24±0.52, respectively. Students who answered that their motivation for career preparation according to general characteristics was "because it is a valuable job" showed the highest score of 3.60±0.54 for professionalism (p<0.01) and higher scores for major satisfaction and career preparation behavior (p<0.001). The factors that affected career preparation behavior were self-leadership (p<0.001), major satisfaction (p<0.01), and professional intuition (p<0.01). Conclusions: The study findings showed that groups with higher self-leadership, major satisfaction, and professionalism exhibited more active career preparation behavior. Therefore, various educational programs are needed to improve dental hygiene (academics) and career preparation behavior of students.

Influences of Coffee Education Service Quality on Educational Satisfaction, Intention to Recommend, and Job Preparatory Behavior : Focusing on Job Searchers in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry (커피교육서비스 품질이 교육만족도, 추천의도, 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향 :관광·외식분야 취업준비생을 대상으로)

  • This study aims to verify the influence of coffee education service quality recognized by trainees wishing to get a job at coffee-related companies on job preparation behavior through education satisfaction and recommendation intention. In order to achieve the research purpose, this study posited five research hypotheses based on relative literature and also established a research model with the five hypotheses. This study shows the following research results. First, the study found that coffee education service quality had a positive and significant impact on education satisfaction. Second, the study found that educational satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on recommendation intention. Third, the study found that educational satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on job preparation behavior. Fourth, the study found that education satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on the effect of coffee education service quality on recommendation intention. Fifth, the study found that education satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on the effect of coffee education service quality on employment recommendation intention. Such findings of this study imply practical suggestions that the characteristics of a wide range of trainees in the study of coffee education service quality and satisfaction, and provide practical suggestions to help improve the future direction of education services and competitiveness of coffee education institutions.

A Study on the Influence of Office Workers' Job Performance Ability, Retirement Readiness, and Future Anxiety on Entrepreneurship Will: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Another Success Expectation on Life after Retirement (직장인의 직무수행능력, 노후준비도, 미래불안감이 창업의지에 미치는 영향연구: 퇴직후 삶에 대한 또 다른 성공기대감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Currently, Korea is changing into an ultra-aging society, and office workers retire at the age of 49.5 on average from their main jobs, and the national pension is delayed from 62 years old to 65 years old by 2034, so research is needed to prepare for the aging of office workers after retirement. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting the intention to start a business after retirement and the mediating effect of another sense of success expectation on life after retirement, targeting office workers nationwide. Changes in individual attitudes and systematic institutional support are needed to prepare for a sustainable job until the age of 100 after retirement, that is, a start-up utilizing wisdom and experience in work life. As a result of the study, the ability to perform the goal as job performance, economic preparation for retirement preparation, preparation for external relations, and future anxiety have a positive effect on the entrepreneurial will, and the ability to use new technologies as job performance, and physical preparation for retirement. Preparation and preparation for internal relations were found to have no effect. In the influencing relationship between preparation for external relations and the will of start-up, and future anxiety and will of start-up, another sense of success was confirmed to have a partial mediation effect. In the relationship between economic preparation and willingness to start a business, the effect of complete mediation was confirmed. In order to increase the will to start a business after retirement, it was confirmed that another sense of expectation for success was an important variable. Introducing a government-sponsored education system in the company to reduce the government's financial burden due to super-aging and achieve corporate growth through employee training while potential founders, office workers, are employed, and entrepreneurship and goals for the three life goals of office workers By introducing a performance improvement program, we were able to get implications that would be a solution to the growth of individuals and businesses and reducing the government's financial burden.

Analysis of Successful Adaptation Factors of Computer Science Freshmen Students (컴퓨터 전공 신입생의 성공적 적응 요인 분석)

  • As other major, students have difficulties to be successfully adapted to computer science major without some interest and skill to computer programming. In this paper, we try to find successful factors for computer science major freshmen students to computer programming. The factors we focused are programming experience before college entrance, taking liberal arts/natural science courses at high school, application motivations to computer major, existence of mentors, satisfaction to his/her computer department, student's holland job aptitude code. After analysis, taking liberal arts/natural science courses at high school, satisfaction to computer department, some holland job aptitude code are significant to their successful adaptation to computer major. Also, we found the holland job apptitude code is closely related to student's satisfaction to their major for engineering students including computer science students. Our analysis results will be a suggestion for designing computer science education program with students who enters college without some aptitude or preparation to his major.

The Effect of Variables on Attitudes and Preparations toward Retirement (은퇴에 대한 태도 및 은퇴준비에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the factors causing the attitudes and preparations toward retirement. Tow hundred eight employees participated in this study. The results of this study are as fellows: First, income, age, sex, self-esteem, attitudes toward job, family, and leisure affect the attitudes toward retirement. Second, income and attitudes toward leisure affect economic preparations. Third, age, attitudes toward family and leisure affect psychologic preparations. Fourth, age, self-esteem, locus of control, and attitudes toward leisure affect physical preparations.

The Study of Relations between Positive Psychological Capital, Career Planning, and Job Preparation Activities of Physical Education Students (체육계열학과 대학생들의 긍정심리자본과 경력계획 및 취업준비행동의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study is to reveal the relations between positive psychological capital, career planning, and job preparation activities of physical education students. To do that, pilot survey and main survey are separately conducted. At first, pilot survey is carried out in September 9, 2015 with third and fourth grade of students in D University in Kyeongbuk. Main survey is conducted with students majoring in physical education in Youngnam province except for the students who are participated in pilot survey. In main survey, 310 questionnaires are collected. However, 7 questionnaires are excluded because they are not suitable for the study, so 303 cases are used to conduct analysis of frequency. Multiple regression analysis in SPSS version 23.0 for windows statistical package program is used and the results are presented as follow; First, dynamic stability, hope, and optimism in positive psychological capital of physical education students have a positive effect on career planning. Second, optimism, dynamic stability, and self-efficacy in positive psychological capital of physical education students have positive influence on career planning. Third, the order of concreteness and challenge in career planning of psychological education students positively affect job preparation.

  • This study analyzed how job stress of counselors at Multicultural Family Support Center effects on their psychological exhaustion. The purpose of this research is on suggesting efficient human resource administration plan by mitigating job stress using the result of analysis. In the result of analysis, MFSC counselors' job stress had an effect on emotional exhaustion, impersonalization, and a factor of decline in sense of self-perfection. Applying this result, this research proposed a necessity of realistic plan preparation to prevent job stress and psychological exhaustion of MFSC counselors.
