마이크로 제트엔진 배기플룸 주위 물 분사에 따른 장파장 적외선 신호특성 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Long Wave Infrared Signal by Water Injection around the Exhaust Plume of the Micro-jet Engine)

  • 배기플룸 주위에 물을 분사할 경우 배기플룸에서 방출되는 장파장 적외선에 대한 특성을 알기 위하여 실험적인 방법으로 연구를 수행하였다. 배기플룸을 생성하기 위하여 마이크로 제트엔진을 사용하였으며, 배기노즐 주위에 8개의 물 분사노즐을 배치하였다. 물을 배기플룸과 평행하게 분사하여 배기플룸을 감싸거나, 또는 배기플룸 내에 물을 분사하는 두 가지 분사각도를 적용하였다. 장파장 적외선 신호 측정결과 물을 배기플룸과 평행하게 분사할 경우 물 분사유량에 따라 적외선 신호는 감소되었다. 배기플룸 내에 물을 분사할 경우, 적외선 신호는 배기플룸만 분사하는 경우보다 오히려 큰 값을 나타내는 것으로 측정되었다.

  • A jet injected normally into a cross flow has been found to have the cross section of a horseshoe shape. It occurs by a twin vortex motion in the region downstream of the jet injection. Such a flow is inherently and highly three-dimensional and numerical calculations should play an important role. The three-dimensional momentum equations with buoyancy effect and energy equation are solved to obtain the velocity distributions, center-line trajectories, cross sectional shape and entrainment. The density difference is sufficiently small, so that the Boussinesq approximation is considered to be valid. The SIMPLE algorithm is applied in a staggered grid system of a calculational domain for the numerical method.

  • 본 논문에서는 초음속 유동장내에 분사된 이차제트 주변에서의 열전달 현상을 고찰 하였다 초음속 유동장내에 등열유속조건이 적용된 표면을 설치하고, jet to freestream momentum ratio의 변화에 따른 2차분사를 하여, 2차분사 노즐 주변의 표면온도변화를 적외선카메라를 통하여 측정하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 대류열전달계수를 계산하였다.

액화석유가스(butane)의 대기중 누출현상에 대한 고찰 (Discussions on the Leak Phenomena of Liquid Butane in the Open Air)

  • Almost accidents related with gas have started with the leakage of LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in the open air. But experimental data of LPG leak jet are difficult to find because the safety of experiment is hard to secure and its phenomenon is not steady but transitional. This study is focused on the phenomena of injection jet of liquid butane to the open air. Simple experiment shows that only liquid butane jet in the open air is possible due to the slow vaporization because of low temperature difference between the liquid and air and low vapor pressure of liquid butane. Comparing with the water, 25~40% more liquid butane flow through the tube under the same pressure difference driving.

막냉각에 따른 추력실의 냉각 성능 (The Cooling Performance of Thrust Chamber with Film Cooling)

  • Experiments on film cooling were performed with a small scale rocket engine homing liquid oxygen (LOx) and Jet A-1(jet engine fuel). Film coolants(Jet A-1 and water) were injected through the film cooling injector. Film cooled length and the outside wall temperature of the combustor were determined for chamber pressure, and the different geometries(injection angle) with the flow rates of film coolant. The loss of characteristic velocity due to film cooling was determined for the case of film cooling with water and Jet A-1. As the coolant flow increases, the outside wall temperatures decrease but the decrease in the outside wall temperatures reduced over the 8 percent film coolant flow rate. The efficiency of characteristic velocity was decreased with the Increase of the film coolant flow rate.

헬륨$\cdot$공기흡합기농도분포에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on the concentration distribution of helium and air mixture in the direct injection type engine)

  • This study has been conducted by experiments for distribution of concentration of helium gas, which is jetted into stationary atmosphere at the normal temperature and pressure. It is able to obtain the data for concentration of helium and air mixtures by the use of hot wire probe which has fast response. At an up stream, the concentration gradient which is attained is steep. At a down stream, the mixing time of helium and air is gradually shortened with the lapse of time in front of a jet. The arrival frequency of a jet in an unsteady area is mostly constant from 0% to 100% up to 80mm, but the time which is reaching to 100% is gradually to lengthen as a descending downstream. After starting a jet and the point of 90%, the mixing time is especially to lengthen. This reason comes from the turbulent intensity which causes for mixing of helium and air. This time difference which causes according to lengthen a jet should be considered in the design of combustion chamber.

  • We fabricated a coplanar type organic thin-film transistors using ink-jet printed silver source/drain electrodes and ${\alpha},{\omega}-dihexylquaterthiophene$ (DH4T) which is an active layer. Use of ink-jet printed silver nanoparticle-based metal electrode assists the energetic mismatch with p-type organic semiconductor via modification of their interfacial properties to enable ohmic contact formation.

  • 미사일 수직발사 시스템은 공간을 작게 차지하고 간편하여 각국이 선호하고 있다. 그러나 수직발사 초기에는 매우 낮은 속도로 상승하므로 Fin의 공력이 발생하지 않기 때문에 추력방향을 직접제어하지 않으면 안된다. 추력방향 제어장치는 Gimbal, Jet Vane, Jet Tab, Secondary Injection 등 여러 방식이 있으나 Jet Vane Type의 추력 방향 제어장치는 응답이 빠르고 경량화가 가능하며 후방 Fin과의 연동 및 작동 후 분리가 가능하다는 장점으로 인해 수직발사 미사일의 초기 방향제어에 주로 사용한다. 이 장치는 Vane이 화염 속에서 직접 구동되므로 고내열성 재료의 기술이 필요하며 미사일의 전체 System에 요구되는 Side Force를 발생시키기 위한 Vane의 최대 받음각 및 회전속도를 결정해야 한다. 따라서 초음속 유동해석을 통해서 Vane의 받음각에 대한 Side Force와 Torque를 계산하며, 구조해석을 통해 Side Force가 가해지는 동안의 Housing의 굽힘, 비틀림 하중 등을 계산하였다. 또한 Controller는 기존의 유압방식보다도 소형이며 복잡하지 않고 가격이 싼 DC Motor와 감속기를 이용하여 빠른 응답성에 부합토록 설계하였다. 본론에서는 성능과 관련된 초기 요구조건에 대한 최적설계의 변수들을 해석하고. 그에 따른 개발사양, 개발 과정, 구조, 시험방법 등에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

정적 용기내의 직접분사식 스파크 점화 성층 연소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Direct Injection Stratified Charge Combustion with Spark Ignition in Constant Volume Bomb)

  • The direct-injection stratified-charge engine has the advantages of higher thermal efficiency and less CO and $NO_x$ emission levels than conventional spark ignition engines. However, its actual utilization is prevented by high unburned hydrocarbon emission levels during light-load operations. In this paper, fundamental studies were carried out using a pancake type constant volume bomb. The effects of intensification of local premixing by tangential and radial fuel injection were examined experimentally. Unburned hydrocarbon emission levels with radial fuel injection were shown to be lower than those of tangential fuel injection cases. The stratification and mixing process of fuel jet and combustion process were observed by schlieren photography.

기체구 분사 모델을 이용한 CNG 직접분사식 인젝터 분사 수치해석 기법 (Modeling of CNG Direct Injection using Gaseous Sphere Injection Model)

  • This paper describes the modeling of CNG direct injection using gaseous sphere injection model. Simulation of CNG direct injection does not need break up and evaporation model compared to that of liquid fuel injection. And very fine mesh is needed near the injector nozzle to resolve the inflow boundary. Therefore it takes long computation time for gaseous fuel injection simulation. However, simulation of CNG direct injection could be performed with the coarse mesh using gaseous sphere injection model. This model was integrated in KIVA-3V code and RNG $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model needs to be modified because this model tends to over-predict gas jet diffusion. Furthermore, we preformed experiments of gaseous fuel injection using PLIF (planar laser induced fluorescence)method. Gaseous fuel injection model was validated against experiment data. The simulation results agreed well with the experiment results. Therefore gaseous sphere injection model has the reliability about gaseous fuel direct injection. And this model was predicted well a general tendency of gaseous fuel injection.
