충남지역의 지하수개발에 관한 조사 (Research on the Ground Water Developement in the Region of Choong Nam Province)

  • Resulties of research on the capacity of ground water of 994 concrete-pipe-wells and 97 infiltration-gallerys in ground-water-developement-works region executed from March to Julyin 1969, in Choong Chung Nam Do, and research on the quality of ground water for 88 wells for home-use around of River Geum Area, are as fellows: (1) Thickness of aquifer is no more than 2.85m averagely even at river-overflowed plain, alluvial plain and valley plain area that are estimated to contain ground water mostly. And so, it is guessed that ground water capacity is not much especially. (2) Soil of aquifer of the above area is sand or gravel and it is estimated to be good for ground water developement and its mean permeability coefficient is bout $2.5{\times}10^{-3}$(m/sec), and its porosity is about 33.9%. (3) The quality of ground water is good for irrigation water exception of delta plain area. Warm water plan is to need for irrigation water when water temperature is less than 19 degrees below zero. (4) Prospect of ground water developement, judging from quality and quantity, expects to lay infiltration gallery under the ground at river bed in order to utilize under-flow-water of river bed, river-overflowed plain, alluvial plain and valley plain that ground level is less than 50m. (5) Collectable water volume of under-flow-water of river bed is about 450 to $750m^3/day$ to be able to irrigate 3ha to 5ha of the cultivated land in case that infiltration gallery length is 50m and its depth is about 5m. (6) Collectable water volume at river-overflowed plain, alluvial plain and valley plain area, is estimated $150m^3/day$ to be able to irrigated 1ha of the cultivated land.

코이어 배지 수경재배에서 관수효율 향상을 위한 급액 제어 (Irrigation Control for Improving Irrigation Efficiency in Coir Substrate Hydroponic System)

  • 본 연구는 환경오염과 양수분 손실을 주는 비순환식 수경재배에 FDR센서를 이용한 자동관수시스템을 적용할 때 관수효율을 높이기 위한 최적의 최소대기시간을 설정하고자 수행되었다. 실험은 가을과 겨울철에 봄과 여름철에 두 번 수행하였고 가을과 겨울철에는 3분 급액과 최소대기시간을 5분으로 한 3R5F 처리구, 3분 급액과 최소대기시간을 10분으로 한 3R10F 처리구, 5분 급액과 최소대기시간을 15분으로 한 5R15F 처리구를 설정하여 실험하였고 봄과 여름철에는 3분 급액과 최소대기시간을 5분으로 한 3R5F 처리구, 3분 급액과 최소 대기시간을 10분으로 한 3R10F 처리구를 설정하여 실험하였다. 3분 급액은 주당 60mL, 5분 급액은 주당 80mL가 공급되었다. 가을과 겨울철 재배에서 정식 후 62일 까지 주당 급액량은 3R5F (858mL) > 5R15F (409mL) > 3R10F (306mL) 처리 순으로 나타났고 배액률은 3R5F (44%) > 5R15F (23%) > 3R10F (14%) 순으로 나타났다. 정식 후 62일부터 102일 까지는 일일 주당 급액량이 5R15F (888mL)> 3R5F (695mL)> 3R10F (524mL) 순으로 나타났고 이 시기에 배액률은 5R15F에서 가장 높았다. 봄과 여름재배에서는 일일 주당 급액량과 배액율이 3R5F 처리구에서 3R10F 처리구보다 높았다. 두 재배 모두에서 수분이용효율 (WUE)은 3R10F 처리에서 높았다. 따라서 FDR 센서를 활용한 자동화 관수 시스템에서 관수효율을 높이기 위한 최소대기시간은 10분으로 고찰된다.

  • 나지상태(裸地狀態)에서 관수량(灌水量)에 따른 양분(養分)의 수직이동(垂直移動) 양상(樣相)을 구명하기 위하여 본량사양토(本良砂壤土)(Typic Udifluvents)의 작토층(作土層)을 공시토양(供試土壤)으로 하여 microplot(지름 20cm, 길이 85cm)시험(試驗)을 수행하였다. 시비량(施肥量)를 기준으로 하여 각(各) 성분(成分)이 (각(各) 토층(土層)으로 이동(移動)된 양(量))/(시비량(施肥量))${\times}$(시비지점에서 각(各) 토층(土層) 중심점까지의 거리)의 화(和)를 평균(平均) 이동(移動)거리라 했을때, 평균이동(平均移動)거리는 관수량(灌水量)과 수직적(直線的)인 관계가 있었다. 1 pore volume(piston front 10cm)물의 이동(移動)에 대한 각(各) 성분(成分)의 평균(平均) 이동(移動)거리는(cm)는 Cl, 7.52>무기태(無機態) N, 6.03>K, 3.50>Mg, 2.69>Ca, 1.19>유효인산(有效燐酸), 0.29순이었다. 여러 성분중(成分中) Cl이 가장 활발하게 하향이동(下向移動)되어 물의 piston front 이동(移動)거리의 75%가 되었고, 인산(燐酸)은 거의 이동(移動)되지 않아 물의 piston front 이동(移動)거리의 3%에 불과하였다. 양분이동(養分移動)의 결과 토양 pH는 관수량(灌水量)이 많아질수록 표층(表層)에서 낮아지고 심층(深層)에서 높아지는 경향인데 토양(土壤)깊이별 pH변화는 치환성(置換性) Ca과 Mg보다는 $NH_4-N$의 함량변화와 같은 경향을 보였다.

자동물꼬의 개발 (Development of the Automatic Inlet)

  • Three types of floating-type automatic inlet were developed for the purpose of reduc- ing farmer's working hours required for water management and saving irrigation water. The point of automation is to use a float within the inlet which is floated and sinked by the ponding depth of paddy field, Thus opens and closes the control gate of irrigation. Suitability of each inlet may depend on production cost, applicability to paddy field condi- tions, and feasibility to farmers, etc. The first model was composed of three parts : chamber for irrigation control gate, chamber for float controlled by ponding depth, and connection bar between the two parts. It was designed to open and close the control gate gradually as the ponding depth drops and rises to a certain level. The second model was designed to improve the weak point of the first model which is the imperfect-closing of gate when it approaches to the end of ir- rigation. A switch-spring was equipped above the connection bar for perfect opening and closing of gate when the ponding depth reaches to a certain level. The third model was designed by combining the two chambers, that is, cut in halves the inlet volume of the above two models. Magnets were equipped above the float for perfect opening and closing gate. The functional experiment for three developed inlets was successfully carried out and the rating curves were derived.

간척지 논 농업배수 처리에 적합한 인공습지 설계 기법 (Constructed Wetland Design Method to Treat Agricultural Drainage from Tidal Reclaimed Paddy Areas)

  • The standard design methodology was suggested to construct wetland system for reducing non-point source pollution from Saemangeum reclaimed paddy land. To set for the design flow and concentrations, runoff and water quality survey were conducted during the irrigation period in 2008 at Gyehwa reclaimed paddy land located at near Saemangeum lake. It is rational that 1ha is the optimum constructed wetland size. To meet this size, the moderate drainage area of reclaimed paddy field was 50ha under the conditions that rainfall is 30mm, average runoff coefficient is 0.83, and runoff capture ratio is 0.6. At these condition, the runoff volume from 50ha was 10,520 $m^3/d$ including base flow during irrigation period. To select the optimum wetland system, several case studies were conducted by focusing on the tidal reclaimed land areas having wetland systems in Seokmun. Pond-Wetland system was selected as the standard model because of showing the highest reduction efficiency. Single variable regression equation were delivered to estimate effluent water concentrations from the designed wetland by using long-term monitoring data from the Seokmun experiment site. The effluent concentration from the designed wetland using these equation were showed moderately range.

관개용 저수지의 한발지수산정 (Drought Index Calculation for Irrigation Reservoirs)

  • Drought index calculation based on the principal hydrological parameters, such as rainfall and reservoir storage, can estimate the duration and intensity of drought in irrigation reservoirs. It is difficult to build up a drought criteria since the conditions change variously by the reliability of rainfall. Because of the increasing water demands, it is urgent to prepare a generalized positive countermeasure to overcome drought. Water demands can at calculated but the estimation of drought characteristics, and the effective water management method can be established. The purpose of this study is to obtain a drought index and build up a data-base on the reservoir basins for establishing the fundamental hydrological data-base. This Index can observe the behavior of the WSI(Water Supply Index) and the component indices. The results summarized through this study are as follows. 1. WSI value of zero does not correspond to 100% in average due to the skewness in the probability distributions. 2. WSI is not a linear index; that is, given change in terms of water volume or percentage of average does not result in a proportional change on the WSI scale. 3. WSI is not always between the reservoir and the rainfall index in magnitude. This is only true if the component indices are of opposite sign. If they are of the same sign, the SWSI will often have a mangitude greater than either of the component indices. This is easily understood, because the concurrence of extreme values of the same sign for the two components is rarer than the occurrence of extreme values for either of the two components individually.

  • 북한의 농업용 저수지 개발방향을 설정하고 농촌종합개발사업 및 농지현황분석 등 농업대책정보 수요에 보다 신속하고, 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 기술적, 정책적 방향을 수립하는 것은 남북교류 및 통일을 대비하여 중요한 의미가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 SPOT-5 위성영상을 처리하여 북한 예성강 유역내 농업생산기반 DB를 구축하고 농업용 저수지 현황을 분석하는데 있다. 연구 결과, 현장방문조사가 불가능한 예성강유역의 농업용수관련 현황을 분석하여 분류항목을 설계하고 아울러 실제 농업생산기반관련 주제도를 제작하는 방법 및 절차를 정립할 수 있었다. 그리고, 유역추출, 기설 저수지 용적계산, 전답의 규모 및 수혜지역(생산지역) 범위 설정, 기존의 농업용수체계 등을 조사하여 농업용 저수지의 개발적지 분석을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다. 또한, 북한지역의 농업생산기반 DB 구축시 문제점과 한계를 파악할 수 있었다.

펄라이트 재배에서 급액량이 토마토의 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Drip Irrigation Volumes on Plant Growth and Yield of Tomato Grown in Perlite)

  • 본 실험은 펄라이트 수경재배에서 급액량이 토마토(Solanum lycopersicum L.)의 생육과 수량에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해 수행되었다. 급액 처리는 대조구인 I0와 대조구보다 급액량이 각 25%, 50% 많은 I25와 I50로 세수준 처리하였다. 처리기간 중 대조구 I0 처리구는 배액이 없었다. 조사항목으로 토마토 생육특성, 수량 및 수분이용효율을 측정하였다 토마토의 초장, 엽장 및 엽폭이. I0 처리 가장 짧았고 I25와 I50 처리에서는 통계적으로 차이가 없었다. 처리 후 111일, 132일 및 143일째에 측정한 토마토 과실의 당도, 산도 및 건물율은 관수량이 가장 적은 I0가 관수량이 많은 I25와 I50 보다 높았다. 그러나 처리 후 111일과 132일째 과실 내 수분함량은 I0 처리에서 가장 낮았다. 대과(>180g)의 수는 I25에서 유의하게 더 많았으나 총 수확과 수는 처리 간 유의한 차이가 없었다. 과실의 평균 과중(g·plant-1)과 총 수확량(g·plant-1)은 I0 처리된 토마토에서 가장 낮았다. 수분 소비량은 처리 간 유의한 차이가 없었으나 수분이용효율은 I0 처리에서 가장 낮았다. 주성분 분석 결과 과실의 당도와 산도는 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 실험에서 토마토 생육, 과실 특성 및 수분이용효율을 토대로 얻은 결과는 I25가 토마토 펄라이트 수경재배에서 다른 처리 보다 적절한 급액량임을 보여준다.

저수형 잔디블록 저수조 내 충진재료에 따른 저수량 및 초종별 증발산량 (Volume of Water Storage and Evapotranspiration by Inserted Materials at a Reservoir of Porous Grass Block)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance of porous grass block. For the investigation, Festuca arundinacea and Zoysia japonica 'Zenith' were planted, and the volume of evapotranspiration and remains were examined based on different materials in the water tank in the experiment of Festuca arundinacea, the volume of water storage of treatment with perlite ($10.84{\iota}/m^2$) was higher than that with drainage ($7l/m^2$). The difference between the two was $3.84/m^2$. The drainage treatment without water storage capacity showed the higher degree of dryness in turf grass. The volume of evapo-transpiration of treatment with perlite was the highest (21.57mm/week). The volume of evapotranspiration of treatment with sand was 19.57mm/week, and with treatment with drainage was 18.24mm/week. Based on the measured volume of daily evapotranspiration of $2.60{\sim}3.08mm\;d^{-1}$, it was determined that the unit with water storage capacity would store water of one to two days usage compared to unite without such storage capacity. In the experiment of Zoysia japonica 'Zenith', the volume of water storage of treatment with perlite was $10.77l/m^2$ which was similar to the former experiment. The volume of evapotranspiration of treatment with perlite and sand were 21.64mm/week and 20.64mm/week, respectively. In case of airtight water tank, the volume was measured as 22.06mm/week. Each treatment has no notable difference in the volume of evapotranspiration. In conclusion, from the investigation in this study, porous grass block with water tank was found to be effective in plant growth under low irrigation. As the ecological area ratio and vegetated porous pavement have became more emphasized, additional study of rain infiltration and reservoir effect are needed in the future.

Effect of the Nutritive Components of Mulberry Fruits From Two Cultivars Based on Irrigation Scheduling

  • BACKGROUND: The mulberry cultivars 'Daeshim' and 'Shimgang' were developed in RDA in 2014 and 2017, respectively. 'Daeshim' yields a fruit size bigger than that of other varieties and has a productivity of over 70%, whereas 'Shimgang' has a high yield and a special characterization against the mulberry popcorn disease. In our study, a compositional comparison of these popular cultivars in Korea was undertaken to explore the nutrient profiles of mulberry fruit and promote the development of the rich minerals and flavonoids in mulberry fruit as performing each other irrigation time. METHODS AND RESULTS: These two cultivars were collected from the Sericulture and Apiculture Division, RDA, in Korea to investigate their amounts, weights, minerals, and flavonoid content using each other instrument. After 6 h of irrigation treatment, the amount of fruit (kg/tree) from Daeshim and Shimgang increased by 17.5 and 15.2 kg/tree, respectively. The total flavonoid content from Daeshim and Shimgang was determined to be 132.9 mg and 36.3 mg, respectively, after the 6 h irrigation treatment. CONCLUSION: Appropriate irrigation treatment methods such as water scheduling and volume will help increase fruit quantities and farmer incomes. It would be interesting to conduct further in-depth research on these fruits so that consumers can benefit from them as a food additive.
