원자력발전소 건전성평가를 위한 인터넷기반 가상현실환경과 웹데이터베이스의 개발 (Development of an Internet based Virtual Reality Environment and Web Database for the Integrity Evaluation of the Nuclear Power Plant)

  • A nuclear Power Plant is composed of a number of mechanical components. Maintaining the integrity of these components is one of the most critical issues in nuclear industry. In order to evaluate the integrity of these mechanical components, a lot of data are required including inspection data, geometrical data, material properties, etc. Therefore, an effective database system is essential to manage the integrity of nuclear power plant. For this purpose, an internet based virtual reality environment and web database system was proposed. The developed virtual reality environment provides realistic geometrical configurations of mechanical components using VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language). The virtual reality environment was linked with the web database, which can manage the required data for the integrity evaluation. The proposed system is able to share the information regarding the integrity evaluation through internet, and thus, will be suitable for an integrated system for the maintenance of mechanical components.

  • In the present, most lighting simulation programs are based on luminaires data produced at overseas. Currently, it is difficult to use proper domestic luminaire database in most lighting simulation programs, because there are only oversea luminaire database available. Therefore, in this study, domestic luminaire database were developed and categorized and applied to Internet Web-based RADIANCE rendering system. Luminaire database are constructed with 3D modelings, materials and IES data of each luminaire.

SPaRe: Efficient SQLite Recovery Using Database Schema Patterns

  • In recent times, the Internet of Things (IoT) has rapidly emerged as one of the most influential information and communication technologies (ICT). The various constituents of the IoT together offer novel technological opportunities by facilitating the so-called "hyper-connected world." The fundamental tasks that need to be performed to provide such a function involve the transceiving, storing, and analyzing of digital data. However, it is challenging to handle voluminous data with IoT devices because such devices generally lack sufficient computational capability. In this study, we examine the IoT from the perspective of security and digital forensics. SQLite is a light-weight database management system (DBMS) used in many IoT applications that stores private information. This information can be used in digital forensics as evidence. However, it is difficult to obtain critical evidence from IoT devices because the digital data stored in these devices is frequently deleted or updated. To address this issue, we propose Schema Pattern-based Recovery (SPaRe), an SQLite recovery scheme that leverages the pattern of a database schema. In particular, SPaRe exhaustively explores an SQLite database file and identifies all schematic patterns of a database record. We implemented SPaRe on an iPhone 6 running iOS 7 in order to test its performance. The results confirmed that SPaRe recovers an SQLite record at a high recovery rate.

  • P2P (Peer-to-peer) 파일 공유 시스템에서 컨텐츠의 복제는 Hot Spot의 방지와 가용성의 보장, 검색 속도의 향상을 위해 사용되고 있다. 컨텐츠의 복제본의 수(공간 효율성)와 검색 성능은 일종의 trade-off로써 이 논문에서는 가능한 검색 성능을 향상시키면서 적절한 양의 복제본의 수를 유지하는 방법인 SRoD 알고리즘을 제안한다. SRoD는 DHT 기반 파일공유시스템에서 전반적으로 간단하게 접목하여 사용할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 특징은 P2P가 추구하는 자율성과 평등성을 보장하기 위한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 SRoD 알고리즘을 설명하고 이것의 장점과 보완해야 할 점에 대해 논하게 될 것이다.

  • There are many statistical information sites as the use of internet is increased quickly in recent years. In this paper, we explore and analyze internet sites for statistical information such as statistical survey system, education, database, and terminology. And then we classify these sites to apply statistical information to some particular spheres easily. In so doing, this study result aims at enhancing our understanding of internet sites for statistical information.

Performance of Distributed Database System built on Multicore Systems

  • Recently, huge datasets have been generating rapidly in a variety of fields. Then, there is an urgent need for technologies that will allow efficient and effective processing of huge datasets. Therefore the problems of partitioning a huge dataset effectively and alleviating the processing overhead of the partitioned data efficiently have been a critical factor for scalability and performance in distributed database system. In our work we utilized multicore servers to provide scalable service to our distributed system. The partitioning of database over multicore servers have emerged from a need for new architectural design of distributed database system from scalability and performance concerns in today's data deluge. The system allows uniform access through a web service interface to concurrently distributed databases over multicore servers, using SQMD (Single Query Multiple Database) mechanism based on publish/subscribe paradigm. We will present performance results with the distributed database system built on multicore server, which is time intensive with traditional architectures. We will also discuss future works.

  • 인터넷 활용의 증가와 함께 디자이너 계층의 인터넷을 이용한 정보 접근력은 해마다 급증하고 있으며, 디자인을 학습하는 학생 및 전문가를 포함한 관련계층에게 디자인 공통용어와 개념을 빠르게 전달할 필요가 있다. 이를 위하여 인터넷은 유용한 매체임에 틀림없으나, 새로운 용어의 급격한 증가와 사용자 상호작용 요소를 감안하면 정보의 일방적 구축과 단방향적 전달만으로는 인터넷의 특성에 미흡하다 할 것이다. 이는 오프라인 서적을 통한 기존의 전달 방법과 달리 온라인 데이터베이스 구축 프로세스에 대한 심도 있는 고찰이 필요하고, 이를 바탕으로 한 적절한 인터페이스 구조의 연구가 필요함을 의미한다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 일방적 정보 전달 형식에서 벗어나 전체적 시스템 구축의 관점으로 실시간 자생적 정보 구축을 목표로 인터넷을 이용한 데이터베이스 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 즉 인터넷을 이용한 디자인 용어사전의 연구를 통해 가상공간 내에서 텍스트의 변형과 중심을 생산자에서 소비자로 옮기고, 수용자에 의한 생산과정에의 참여 모델을 제시함으로서, 고도의 개방성과 상호 텍스트성을 바탕으로 한 사용자 중심의 상호 구축적 교환체계로 변환하는 방안을 제안하고 구조화하였다

  • Internet services are utilizing a variety of server/client technologies. In particular internet technologies provide improved accessibility to information for facility management customers and users for the systems. This study is the architectural data exchange system development more effective management and accept using on Internet web environment. This paper is the explore the use of computers in architectural planning that how the information may be extracted drawing entered into database and exchanged architectural detail data interfaces. System support communication and interactive collaboration among designers through complex Building object during the Design. There are four part in collaborative design system. User Management system, Standard Database System, Project Database System and Interface system. All Data are recognizable format include drawing file and contents. Web/DB server supported communication and collaboration among partners in the building design and construction process. Collaborative Design system is provide new conceptual framework that exist in the Web.

인터넷을 통한 스페이스 프레임 구조 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study of Structural Analysis for Space Frame on the World Wide Web)

  • This paper proposes structural analysis on the World Wide Web to form a part of the architectural design project. It purposes modeling space frames and a structural analysis program on the internet only by inputting basic data for forming a shape in the whole phase of space frame analysis. The analysis data is conducted by Oracle DBMS(DataBase Management System), GUI(Graphic User Internet) by Java Applet and connection with server and database by Java Servlet respectively. The result from modeling and analysis is provided as graphic and text file forms by web browsers. Programs can be executed irrespective of user's OS by using internet and highly-secured system is constructed taking advantage of Java. Of great efficiency is maintaining and recycling data as the whole is dealt by database from the beginning to the end of program.
