OTPA방법을 이용한 철도차량 실내 소음 기여도 분석 연구 (A Study on Interior Noise Contribution Analysis of Trains based on OTPA Method)

  • The sensitivity of interior noise that the passengers perceive is comparatively high in the train, and structure-borne and air-borne types of noises come into the train. In this paper, to analyze contributions of these noise sources operational transfer path analysis(OTPA) is used. OTPA has some advantages of executing the contribution rates of several sources simultaneously, and in this work, 29 points are measured while running. Transfer functions between reference measurement points and response measurement points are calculated by the singular value decomposition(SVD) and Principal component analysis(PCA) method, and the frequency characteristics of the noise source are successfully derived. Also the interior noise is predicted and compared with measurement data to show the reliability.

타이어 공명 소음 저감체 개발 (Tire Cavity Noise Reducing Material Development)

  • Vibrations transmitted through rolling tire are major sources of road noise in vehicle interior on the range of $0{\sim}500Hz$. Among various road noises, tire cavity noise makes many problems recently. Vehicle NVH performance has improved better and road surfaces are made well. But tires are changed to high inches and low series. So tire cavity noise becomes more serious. In this paper, a designed material for reducing tire cavity noise is proposed. On the surface inside tire, this material is attached at one position using double-tape. This material disperses the pressure variations inside the tire. So a spindle forces at wheel center are reduced. And tire cavity noise at vehicle interior is also reduced. Durability is verified by tire only test and vehicle test. Noise performance also compared with peak levels after attaching this material.

  • Today, the interior noise perceived by the occupants is an important factor in the design of automotive interior assemblies. Buzz, Squeak and Rattle Noises in a Seats are one of the major concerns mentioned above. In this study, the terms 'Buzz, squeak and rattle' were defined as the noise originating from structural vibrations in an assembly. And, the BSR noise of vehicle seat was investigated and the improvement of BSR noise level was confirmed though the structural treatment based on the structural analysis results from the modal and sound intensity of seat.

  • 오늘날 고속 철도는 중요한 교통수단으로 사용되고 있다. 주행거리 단축을 위해 직선 선로를 만드는 것이 불가피해 졌고 그에 따라 터널과 교량의 구간이 늘어나게 되었다. 특히 터널 통과 시에 발생되는 실내 소음은 운행 속도, 운행 구간 레일의 종류 등 여러 가지 원인에 의해 야기되어 진다. 실내소음으로 인해 철도를 이용하는 승객의 쾌적한 환경에 많은 영향을 미치게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KTX와 새마을호의 터널 통과 시 발생되는 소음이 피험자에게 미치는 영향을 EEG를 통해 살펴보았다. 먼저 터널 통과 시 KTX와 새마을호의 실내 소음을 실제로 측정하여 크기, 주파수별로 분석하였다. 측정된 실내 소음을 피험자에게 제시하였을 때 나타나는 EEG를 측정하였다. EEG의 분석에 대해서는 불안, 긴장 등 스트레스를 받을 때 강하게 나타나는 ${\beta}$파의 변화를 관찰한 결과를 제시하였다.

실내 인테리어 마감재에 따른 카페 재실자의 소음 환경 영향 분석 (Analysis of Noise Environment of Cafe Occupants According to Interior Finishing)

  • Indoor noise environment is an important factor when it comes to occupants comfort, especially in cafe. Results of the survey, 33.9% of occupants were feel unpleasant and sensitive about noise environment. Noise in cafe fluctuate depending on the finishing of both wall and ceiling, volume of the room, and the number of occupants in the room. Therefore, the noise meter device was used for measurement of various under conditions. Also, the subjective assessment of occupant noise was conducted through questionnaires. When the interior finish was exposed concrete, the maximum value of the noise measurement was 66.6 dB and the minimum value was 63 dB, respectively. Also, the result of subjective assessment of unpleasant noise were 5.43 and 4.96 point of 10 point of noise and echo, respectively. Otherwise, the interior finish was gypsum board, the maximum value of the noise measurement was 73.8 dB and the minimum value was 60.4 dB, respectively. Also, the result of subjective assessment of unpleasant noise were 3.88 and 3.95 point of 10 point of noise and echo, respectively. The results of the study showed that the noises and echoes in the cafes were lower than when did not.

청음용 자동차 로드노이즈 추출 방법 연구 (A Study on Road Noise Extraction Methods for Listening)

  • This study pertains to the extraction of the road noise component of signals from a vehicle's interior noise via the traditional frequency domain and time domain system identification methods. For road noise extraction based on the frequency domain system identification method, the appropriate matrix inversion strategy is investigated and causal and non-causal impulse response filters are compared. Furthermore, appropriate data lengths for the frequency domain system identification method are investigated. In addition to the traditional road noise extraction methods based on frequency domain system identification, a new approach to extract road noise via the time domain system identification method based on a parametric input-output model is proposed and investigated in the present study. In this approach, instead of constructing a higher order model for the full-band road noise, input and output signals are processed in the subband domain and lower order parametric models optimal to each subband are determined. These parametric models are used to extract road noises in each subband; the full band road noise is then reconstructed from the subband road noises. This study shows that both the methods in the frequency domain and the time domain successfully extract the road noise from the vehicle's interior noise.

회귀모형과 신경망모형을 이용한 차량공조시스템의 음질 인덱스 구축 및 비교 (Construction and Comparison of Sound Quality Index for the Vehicle HVAC System Using Regression Model and Neural Network Model)

  • The reduction of the vehicle interior noise has been the main interest of noise and vibration harshness (NVH) engineers. The driver's perception on the vehicle noise is affected largely by psychoacoustic characteristic of the noise as well as the SPL. In particular, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system sound among the vehicle interior noise has been reflected sensitively in psychoacoustics view point. Even though the HVAC noise is not louder than overall noise level, it clearly affects subjective perception to drivers in the way of making to be nervous or annoyed. Therefore, these days a vehicle engineer takes aim at developing sound quality as well as reduction of noise. In this paper, we acquired noises in the HVAC from many vehicles. Through the objective and subjective sound quality (SQ) evaluation with acquiring noises recorded by the vehicle HVAC system, the simple and multiple regression models were obtained for the subjective evaluation 'Pleasant' using the semantic differential method (SDM). The regression procedure also allows you to produce diagnostic statistics to evaluate the regression estimates including appropriation and accuracy. Furthermore, the neural network (NN) model were obtained using three inputs(loudness, sharpness and roughness) of the SQ metrics and one output(subjective 'Pleasant'). Because human's perception is very complex and hard to estimate their pattern, we used NN model. The estimated models were compared with correlations between output indexes of SQ and hearing test results for verification data 'Pleasant'. As a result of application of the SQ indexes, the NN model was shown with the largest correlation of SQ indexes and we found possibilities to predict the SQ metrics.

실내장식용 섬유소재의 흡음성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Absorption of Textiles for Interiors)

  • The purpose of this study is to help to prevent daily noises by measuring the noise absorption coefficient of the non-woven fabrics and wallpapers which are commonly used in lining and noise absorption coefficient of lining curtain. Seven types of fiber materials for the interior decoration, one non-woven fabric for the wallpaper linings, and two types of textiles for curtain linings are used as the experimental materials in this study. The noise absorption coefficient of the noise absorbents were measured by using impedance tube. And the thermal transmittance were measured by using thermal transmittance tester. The results of this study are as follows; Observing the noise absorption efficiency of each experimental materials, the combination of fiber materials and linings, the noise absorption efficiency of cotton, polyester and silk were similar and for the experimental materials of flax, rayon, acrylic and nylon were resulted the similar noise absorption efficiency. The result of combination of fiber material and black fabric was highest among the combined linings. For the combination of fiber material and non-woven fabric, double layers of non-woven fabric resulted slightly higher noise absorption coefficient result than single layer of non-woven fabric. The thermal transmittance and the sound absorbents of experimental materials were affected by the thickness, density and layer of air of the experimental materials.

유한 두께 창문 모델을 적용한 능동 소음제어 창문 (Active Window system based on Finite Thickness Window Model)

  • Active window system which can reduce the environmental noises, such as traffic noise and construction noise, from an open window into a room was proposed in the previous works. The key idea of the proposed active window system was that the control sources are approximately collocated with the primary noise source in terms of the acoustic power for global noise reduction throughout the interior room. Moreover, because it is important not to intrude into the living space in the building environment, no error sensors were used and an open-loop control method using control sources at the window frame and the reference sensors outside the room was used for the proposed system. The open-loop control gain was calculated by the interior room model assumed as the semi-infinite space, and the interior sound field was estimated by Rayleigh integral equation under the baffled window model assumption. However, windows with a finite thickness should were considered for the calculation of the open-loop control gain of the active window system since these are representative of most window cases. Therefore, the finite thickness window model based on the Sgard's model was derived and the open-loop control gain using the interior sound field estimated by that model was calculated for active window system. To compare the performance of these two models, a scale-model experiment was performed in an anechoic chamber according to noise source directions. Experimental results showed that the performance for the thickness window model is better than the baffled window model as the angle with respect to the perpendicular direction is larger.
