COVID-19 팬데믹과 식품의 면역조절 기능 (COVID-19 pandemic and the immune regulatory function of foods)

  • Coronavirus, known as one of the causes of colds including mild upper respiratory tract disease in humans, has mutated into the infectious severe disease, COVID-19 through SARS and MERS. The mortality and symptoms of COVID-19 are related to the ability to regulate innate immunity, which acts as the first barrier against microorganisms and viruses. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for food that helps to strengthen immunity is rapidly increasing. Functional foods promote general health and alleviate the risk of disease symptoms by activating multiple biological functions. A recent, there is an interest in discovering functional substances that can induce enhancement of immunity and prevent viral infection as well as relieve disease symptoms. Therefore, this article focus to understand the concept of immune response and highlights the recent status of functional foods and research trends that can help prevent and treat viral infections by inducing the enhancement of immune function.

핀테크 등장이 은행 및 저축은행 산업에 미치는 영향 분석 (An Analysis of the Effects of Fintech on the Banking and Savings Banking Industries in Korea)

  • 글로벌 금융위기 이후 전 세계적인 금융 혁신의 흐름에 따라 핀테크가 등장하면서 금융 산업에 큰 변화가 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 핀테크 현황을 살펴보고 핀테크의 도입과 성장이 은행 및 저축은행의 수익성과 신용 공급에 미치는 영향을 패널 자료를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 핀테크 등장에 따라 은행업의 경우 기존 은행에서 수익성 지표인 NIM이 감소하고 여신이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 저축은행의 경우에도 핀테크 등장에 따라 수익성 지표가 은행과 유사하게 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 핀테크 등장에 따른 경쟁촉진으로 인하여 은행 및 저축은행 산업에서 독점력이 감소하고 혁신 및 효율성이 증가한 결과로 해석되며 금융 소비자에게 바람직한 결과로 보인다. 다만 핀테크가 이처럼 금융 소비자들에게 전반적인 편익을 가져오더라도 개별 금융 기관의 입장에서는 경쟁 격화에 따른 수익성 감소, 핀테크 투자비용 증가 등의 어려움을 겪을 가능성이 크므로 효과적인 대응 전략을 모색할 필요가 있다.

Development of Shoulder Wheel with Adjustable Rotating Speed and Rotating Angle and Application Contents

  • The purpose of this study to improve the shoulder wheel that is used frequently during shoulder circumduction exercise in a park, to link the shoulder wheel to a game application comprising various shoulder circumduction exercise and shoulder ROM exercise, and to enjoy the game during the exercises. A step motor was added to the shoulder wheel, and the rotating speed and rotating angle, and rotating direction can be controlled. The shoulder height, different for different people, can be controlled as well, so that any user can use this device. The developed application content includes the game elements, to enjoy the repetitive and boring exercise with fun and interest, and the control to adjust the degree of difficulty. This was to help users heighten their desire to rehabilitate by inducing active participation during repetitive shoulder rehabilitation exercise because the game vests users with intrinsic motivation and immersion. If the shoulder wheel and application contents proposed in this study are used, shoulder diseases can be prevented in advance by performing muscle strengthening exercises required in an aging society. This study is expected to contribute to the field of research related to serious games and rehabilitation.

A Strategy for Productive Teachers' Questioning in Chemistry Class: Disassembly, Assembly and Interweave of Questions

  • Questioning forms an integral part of most strategies for effective teaching when the class consists of difficult content. Science including chemistry is usually content-rich, but difficult to understand without supporting lab experiments, subsidiary visual materials and model kits. Engaging the attention and interest of students in such a subject, therefore, is the key to the success of a daily lesson in the classroom. However, generating meaningful questions requires a certain level of information and metacognitive skills on the part of the teacher. The purpose of this study was to find out the framework of effective teachers' questioning with a large group in chemistry class: how teachers used questioning to engage their students in such a big class, to identify a variety of forms of feedback provided by students and to develop a model of question-inducing strategies. We investigated the teachers' recognition of their questioning and the students' recognition of teachers' questioning by surveying over 82 teachers and 434 students in Korea. The survey findings show that the questionnaire can be categorized into four elements: the theme of the teachers' questions (T), students' inquiries (I), methods of teachers' questioning (M) and encouragement of students (E). These elements can be analyzed and sub-categorized to find out which elements are effective in good questioning, even though the elements are interwoven tetrahedrally.

학습동기이론 기반의 초등학생 재난안전 교육을 위한 보드게임 설계 (Board Game Design for Disaster Safety Education for Elementary School Students Based on Learning Motivation Theory)

  • In order to improve safety consciousness due to the increase in disasters and safety accidents, safety education is necessary to prepare for disasters with interest in safety. This study is a board game design for disaster safety education for elementary school students based on Keller's learning motivation theory. By considering the school safety curriculum and the safety education contents of the School Safety Mutual Aid Association and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the content and goals of learning were derived and the order of learning was determined. When designing game content, the fun elements of the game were applied to Keller's learning motivation inducing factors such as attention concentration (A), relevance (R), confidence (C), satisfaction (S), and educational game design elements to induce the achievement of learning goals at the game planning stage. It is expected that the existing safety education focusing on lecture-style and audiovisual will be supplemented and used in the educational field.

한.일 국민학교 자연 교과서 삽화 비교 연구 (The Comparison on Illustrations of Elementary Science Textbooks in Koaea and Japan)

  • In this study, with the problem of "What is the desirable illustrations?", the problem points of the existing textbooks were analyzed, and the opinions of experts concerning desirable illustrations were examined through questionaire survey, and by developing 'Analysis Framework of Illustrations', and Korean-Japanese 'science' textbooks were analyzed and compared with. The conclusions for the direction of korean 'science' textbooks are summarized as follows : 1) The numbers of korean illustrations should be more about two than one of per one page of the existing textbooks. 2) The korean illustrations for the 6th grade should be more largely inserted. 3) The more econmic space utilizing measure should be groped for looking at from the such side. 4) Though the kinds of Korean illustrations are mostly composed of photographs, pictures, illustrations, cartoons, etc. should be positively utilized. and the shapes of photographs should be diversified by such as square, round shape,omissions of background and others. 5) The distribution of players by sex should be considered envenly for male and female from the ascendency of male (1.5: 1). 6) It was found that it is desirable for the formation of role of illustrations of 20% for motive inducement, 45% for guidance for experimentation, 30% for presentation of data, and 5% for presentation of the results of experimentation. 7) The illustrations for guidance for experimentation should present important stages of experimentation process regardless the number of illustration. 8) It would be advantageous for motive induction to find the subject matters as possible as from the children's close actual life. 9) It is necessary to induce more freely method in utilizing Printing plate for inserting illustrations. 10) It is the result of research that the existing Korean textbooks are not suitable in inducing interest, and the positive strategy to induce interest is demanded. 11) It is required to select their location freely in accordance with the content regardless the. 12) In order to develop such illustrations, it is required to cultivate expert illustrators, and more economic investment is required for development of illustrations. The emphasis matters of revision of the 6th educational process of 'Inducement of study motive and emphasis on interest' is the change of presenting form and method of illustrations, which is expected to be rewarded with much good fruits.

RAS 기법을 활용한 서울 스마트관광 모빌리티의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (Estimating the Economic Effects of Smart Tourism Mobility in Seoul: Using RAS Method)

  • 스마트관광 도시의 핵심 분야 중 하나인, 스마트 모빌리티는 개인형 교통수단인 공유 자전거, 공유 킥보드를 비롯해 공유 자동차 서비스, 스마트교통 인프라 등 ICT 기술을 기반으로 진보된 모든 수단과 서비스를 포함하며, 기존 교통수단의 한계를 극복하고 사람과 물자의 이동을 개선한다. 관광객에게는 관광지 간 이동 시 저렴하고 이용하기 쉬운 교통수단으로 활용될 뿐만 아니라, 관광 경험 그 자체가 되어 여행의 질을 향상시키는 역할도 한다. 이 연구는 스마트 모빌리티의 관광적 측면을 포함한 '스마트관광 모빌리티'를 '정보통신기술을 기반으로 뛰어난 연결성을 갖추고, 공익성을 가지고 있으며, 스마트관광 도시에서 거주민과 관광객 모두가 교통수단으로 사용함과 동시에 관광 경험 그 자체가 될 수 있는 모빌리티'로 정의하였다. 그리고 관련 산업의 범위를 전문가 델파이 조사를 기반으로 규명하고, 스마트관광도시에서 어떤 경제적 파급효과를 낳는지 파악하고자 했다. 구체적으로, RAS 기법과 입지계수법을 활용하여 산업연관표를 업데이트하고, 스마트관광 모빌리티에 대한 투자 증대가 서울시의 전 산업에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 2022년 한 해 동안 예정된 서울시의 스마트관광 모빌리티에 대한 약 28억 원 규모의 투자로 인해 전 산업에 걸쳐 약 41억 4천만 원 이상의 생산유발효과가 창출될 것으로 추정되었으며, 이로 인해 약 16억 6천만 원의 소득유발효과, 약 36억 1천만 원의 부가가치유발효과, 그리고 약 54명을 위한 일자리가 창출될 것으로 예상되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 스마트관광 모빌리티가 첨단기술과 관광·운송 서비스의 단순한 결합이 아니며, 도시 내·외부의 다양한 산업과 이해관계를 연계하는 생태계적 관점에서 발전해야함을 강조한다.

수위가 변동하는 휠댐의 안정성 해석(I) (Seepage Analysis of Rock -fill Dam Subjected to Water Level Fluctuation)

  • 한반도 중부지역에 위치한 청평양수발전소의 상부저수지는 준공후 16년이 경과한 사력댐으로 매일 수위 상승 및 저하를 경험하므로써, 제체의 거동이 일반 댐과는 달리 여러 가지 지반공학적 관심을 불러 일으키고 있다. 침투류에 대한 안정성을 판단하기 위하여 종래에는 심벽만을 대상으로 하여 저수지의 수위변동을 고수위 및 저수위의 두 경우로 고정시킨 정상상태의 해석을 주로 사용함에 따라 임의의 시간에서의 전체적인 침투현상 규명이 어려웠으나, 본 연구에서는 수위변동을 경계조건에 반영한 2차원 비정상류 유한요소해석을 댐 전체단면을 대상으로 수행하여 정상상태의 해석과 비교하였으며, 수위 변동에 따라 해당시간에서의 동수 경사, 침투력 벡타, 간극수압 등을 정량적으로 규명하였고, 산정된 침투수량을 계측치와 비필하였다. 그 결과 본 댐은 파이핑, 내부 침식 또는 제체 내부로의 투수 등에 대하여 안전하다고 판단된다.

플래그쉽스토어의 VMD 감성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on VMD Emotional Evaluation of Flagship Store)

  • For commercial inner space, studies about brand communication and VMD to inform brand identity to customers are very important. Accordingly, the study conducted questionnaire survey about 'emotional reaction, brand recognition, brand communication and satisfaction on VMD expressional elements' of customers and brand-related personnel on the ZARA flagship store. Through analysis of difference of evaluation on surveyed items between customers and brand personnels, importance of direction of VMD design applying brand communication which can satisfy customers and application of brand communication was verified. Specific results of the research are as follows: First, comparing brand personnel's expectation of recognition of their brand from customers, substantial level of recognition of brand by customers was lower. It is necessary for improvement through consumer analysis in order to raise brand recognition. Second, as the result of analysis of emotional reaction on VMD, it needs to lead customers to positive emotional reaction close to the brand plan intention by inducing 'exciting and sensational' brand concept to emotional reactions through comprehensive VMD image management and leading to 'free and convenient' emotional reaction and then communications with customers and minimizing emotional differences. Third, for brand communication and creation of 'interest', intention of ZARA, it needs to get maximum communicative effects with 'young' VMD design. Fourth, for satisfaction survey on VMD expressional elements, customers was less satisfied than brand personnel. Accordingly, in order to raise customers' satisfaction, show windows, entry, mannequins and objets should be planned with priority and it should also satisfy customers through communications with customers including advertisement and marketing.

지속가능 패션 실용화를 위한 디자인 교육 프로그램 개발 (Developing Design Education Program concerning Sustainable Fashion)

  • Sustainability has been a big issue over the whole global industry lately and is an important fashion trend that reflects the modern phase of the time. The concept of sustainable fashion includes physical fashion products made from eco-friendly or recycle materials as well as ethical value such as corporate social responsibility for environment, labor or working condition. Fashion companies of advanced countries who are aware of the geo-environmental and ethical issues found that generating profits by setting trends and pursuing external beauty can no longer be the ultimate goal of fashion companies, and started to recognize the importance of sustainable fashion as a future-oriented trend. Not only fashion industry but also governments of advanced countries have been playing a leading role to educate the people regarding the importance of sustainable fashion and making large investments to foster industry specialists in educational institution. The aim of this study is to propose sustainable fashion design education program that fits the domestic university curriculum and government-leading education program in order to set the foundation for sustainable fashion industry. Thus, this study investigates successful cases of foreign government-led sustainable fashion education that can be introduced to improve domestic sustainable fashion education. The empirical study of the research is developing 12-15 week university level education program to foster specialists in sustainable fashion. The survey carried out by the students who participated in the program shows the change of perception on sustainable fashion. Developed university level program can be spread to municipal corporation, school of continuing education, and etc. in order to derive participation and problem perception of the citizens on sustainability. Developing systemized sustainable fashion design education program would be the first step of sustainable fashion by educating students who will take the leading role in the future fashion industry. Moreover, it can strongly influence future customer education as well as a special education inducing interest on sustainability in everyday life. A follow-up study is expected to serve as a foundation for sustainable fashion to take root successfully in the fashion industry.
