Purpose This study suggested the four forms of inter-organizational relationships(IORs): partnerships, inter-dependence relationship, trust relationship, and market relationship. The purposes of this study include the demonstration of four forms of IORs and the investigation of the relationships among forms of IORs, inter-organizational information flow(IOIF), kinds of e-commerce strategies, and the supply-chain performance of a firm. Design/methodology/approach The empirical data were collected through post-survey. 92 survey data were collected. With a cluster analysis, we confirmed four types of IORs, and the relationships among critical variables. Findings The results of cluster analysis showed that according to the types of IORs, the frequency and quality of IOIF are different. Appropriate kinds of e-commerce strategies were examined under the each types of IORs, which cause specific patterns of IOIF. It was found that the adoption of e-procurement strategy can improve the supply-chain performance of a firm in trust relationship. It was also observed that under partnerships, the use of e-partnerships strategy can contribute to the improvement of supply-chain performance.

This study derived the inter-conversion matrices, which can be used in heterogeneous image transcoding between the compressed images using different transforms, such as the $8{\times}8$ block discrete cosine transform (BDCT) and the one-level discrete wavelet transform (DWT). Basically, to obtain the one-level DWT coefficients from $8{\times}8$ BDCT, inverse BDCT should be performed followed by forward DWT, and vice versa. On the other hand, if the proposed interconversion approach is used, only one inter-conversion matrix multiplication makes the corresponding transcoding possible. Both theoretical and experimental analyses showed that the amount of computation of the proposed approach decreases over 20% when the inter-conversion matrices are used under specific conditions.

This paper investigates the evolution of 'inter-firm' technology transfer in the Thai automobile industry, which has gradually been integrated into global production network of some specific automotive models(one-ton pickups). This paper discusses the linkage between the role of automobile assemblers in transferring technology and the way their strategic changes bring about heightened demands on the technological capacity of suppliers and the contents of technology transfer. With higher competition at the global level, local suppliers are required to improve their technical and managerial skills, especially in the area of 'product engineering' capability. The authors examine the ways local firms have adapted to these changes in their environments, as well as the ways they utilize inter-firm relationship with automobile assemblers as a means to improve their own technological capabilities. The dynamic process of capability formation in local parts firms, through intensive efforts and learning inducements brought about by inter-firm relationships, are also discussed.

Soluble proteins of silkworm hemolymph were investigated by means of isoelectric focusing (IEF). The protein spectra during ontogenesis of races and inter-races hybrids kept in Bulgaria was studied. A total of 51 protein bands in the hemolymph from fourth larval instar to imago were ascertained. Stage specific expression was established. The specific expression of some protein bands in the individual spectra manifest phenotype of gene determinate polymorphism (HP F, HP J, HP K, HP L, HP Q - in the zone with pH gradient 3.5-6.2 and HP K, HP L, HP N, HP P, HP T - in the zone with pH gradient 9.5 - 6.2). Breed specific expression was observed. On the basis of the obtained results, it was established that the investigated breeds are heterogeneous and the isoelectric focusing method is successful when specifying the inner-race and inter-race polymorphism in silkworm.

By using PAGE, a study was made on the nonspecific esterase spectra of female genital organs and eggs in Bombyx mori L. The expression of 11 esterase bands was detected during ontogenesis of races and inter-races hybrids kept in Bulgaria. The gene activity of 9 esterase loci was assumed. Esterases specific for the spectrum of diapausing eggs were observed. In two esterase zones, intra- and inter-breed polymorphism was found. Based on the same breed specific expression, the existence of correspondence between esterase bands from spectra of different silkworm tissues and organs was suggested. Stage-specific expression of esterases in female genital glands, indicative of differentiated gene activity during ontogenesis, was established.

A silicon based OELD driving circuit that has a new type of column driving method is proposed to reduce the driving circuit area. In comparison with the conventional method, latches in each column are removed and one DAC (digital-to-analog converter) drives several column lines. To make the DAC operate during a specific period for the low power consumption, a simple DESG (DAC Enable Signal Generator) circuit was devised and confirmed by the simulation.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 과학과 포트폴리오를 채점할 수 있는 다양한 채점기준을 개발하고, 개발된 각 채점기준의 신뢰도를 검증해 보고자 하는 것이다. 채점기준을 개발하기 위한 포트폴리오는 4학년 2학기 '단원 2. 지층과 화석', '단원 4. 열과 물체의 변화' 를 중심으로 청주교대 과학교육 연구실에서 2000년 여름에 개발한 체제를 같은 해 가을, 경기도 중도시의 한 초등학교 4학년 한 학급에 적용하여 얻은 것이다. 총괄-일반, 총괄-특수, 분석-일반, 분석-특수의 4가지 채점기준을 개발하고, 각 채점기준에 근거하여 학생들이 작성한 포트폴리오 증거물을 채점하여 각 채점 기준별 채점자간 신뢰도와, 채점자내 신뢰도를 구하였다. 1차 채점에서는 총 12명의 채점자들이 각 채점기준별로 3명씩 그룹을 나누어 그룹당 12권의 포트폴리오 증거물을 채점하였다. 단, 분석-특수 채점기준의 경우 6권의 포트폴리오 증거물만을 채점하였다. 채점자내 신뢰도를 알아보기 위해 실시한 채점시기별 신뢰도에서는 l차 채점에 참가한 채점자 중 각 채점기준별로 2명씩 총 8명이 2차 채점에 참가하여 l차 채점과 동일한 방식으로 채점을 실시하였다. 채점결과를 SPSS 통계 프로그램에 입력하여 상관계수를 구한 결과, 총괄-일반 채점기준은 채점자간 신뢰도가 높고 채점자내 신뢰도가 있는 것으로 나타났고 총괄-특수 채점기준은 채점자간 신뢰도와 채점자내 신뢰도가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 분석-일반 채점기준은 채정자간 신뢰도가 높고 채점자내 신뢰도는 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 분석-특수 채점기준은 채점자간 신뢰도와 채점자내 신뢰도가 모두 높은 것으로 나타났다. 일반적인 채점기준들(총괄-일반, 분석-일반)의 경우, 하나의 채점 기준으로 모든 포트폴리오 목표를 채점할 수 있으므로 매우 경제적이고 실용적이나, 채점자들은 채점시 모호함을 느낀다고 하였다. 반면에, 특수적인 채점기준들(총괄-특수, 분석-특수)의 경우, 채점은 더 명확하게 할 수 있으나, 목표별로 채점기준을 개발해야 하므로 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하게 된다. 채점기준의 실용도 측면에서는 분석-특수 채점기준이 다른 기준보다 2배 이상의 시간이 결려 실용도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

In this study, we consider infinite supply of raw materials and backlogged demands as given two boundary conditions. And we need not make any specific assumptions about the inter-arrival of external demand and service time distributions. We propose a numeric model and an algorithm in order to compute the first two moments of inter-departure process. Entropy enables us to examine the convergence of this process and to derive measurable relations of this process. Also, lower bound on the variance of inter-departure process plays an important role in proving the existence and uniqueness of an optimal solution for a numeric model and deriving the convergence order of augmented Lagrange multipliers method applied to a numeric model. Through these works, we confirm some structural properties and numeric examples how the validity and applicability of our study.

In order to achieve full-scale economic cooperation between North Korea and South Korea, the Gaesong Industrial Complex should reopen first. In this case, the Inter-Korean commercial arbitration system should be clearly established to effectively resolve the disputes arising in the special economic zones of the Gaesong Industrial Complex. Even though the Inter-Korean Investment Security Agreement, the Agreement on the Resolution of Commercial Disputes between North Korea and South Korea, the Agreement on the Formation and Operation of the Inter-Korean Commercial Arbitration Committee, and the Agreement on the Formation and Operation of the Inter-Korean Commercial Arbitration Committee in the Gaesong Industrial District are in place, specific arbitration procedure is not concretely agreed upon and realized between the two Koreas. Therefore, the realization of commercial arbitration between them led by the Ministry of Unification or the government should be accomplished. In addition, it is necessary to consider the administrative trial or administrative litigation system in order to deal with administrative disputes that are not subject to commercial arbitration. Lastly, discussions on legal integration between the two Koreas should continue, focusing on the special economic zone of the Gaesong Industrial Complex, in order to prevent integration from being hindered by a different culture for a long time.
