Illegal and unethical behaviors of the construction industry affect people's lives and health more than the same problems of the other industries. Among these behaviors, the construction industry is mostly criticized for bribery scandals. According to the survey of the Ministry of Justice in Taiwan over the past years, bribery cases involving public engineering projects and governmental procurements account for a rather large portion of the indicted corruption cases. Transparency International's "Bribe Payer Index" indicates people in construction-related industries are the most likely to pay bribes. Poor construction quality directly and indirectly caused by bribery poses a great threat to public safety, organizational reputation and economic development. However, there is a limited number of existing research on the bribery problem of the construction industry. This study is an empirical attempt to explore bribery intention and its affecting factors among the construction organizations in Taiwan by conducting a questionnaire survey. The theory of planned behavior was used in this study to build its research model (covering elements of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, and intention). Totally 431 valid samples were returned. To explore the factors affecting bribery intention, this study adopted Pearson's correlation analysis to discuss about the connections among the questionnaire respondents' attitudes to bribery, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, and bribery intention. A multi-regression analysis was then conducted to test if the planned behavior theory can effectively predict bribery intention. The research found (1) according to the results of Pearson's correlation analysis, the respondents' bribery intention, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control are positively correlated with one another; (2) according to the results of the multi-regression analysis, bribery intention can be explained through attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control with an adjusted R2 value of 0.591, meaning 59.1% of the bribery intention's variances can be explained through the three dimensions. In addition, each of the three dimensions has a significant influence on the respondents' behavior intentions.
Purpose: This study aimed to examine the predictive factors of COVID-19 vaccination behavior by evaluating the moderating effect of perceived behavioral control on the theory of planned behavior. Methods: Data were collected from August 6 to August 31, 2022 from 235 college students (aged 20~29 years) across 12 universities using a structured web-based survey. Statistical analyses were conducted using the SPSS and AMOS software. Results: Attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccination, subjective norms, and intention to be vaccinated significantly influenced COVID-19 vaccination behavior. Attitudes and subjective norms indirectly affected COVID-19 vaccination behavior through intention to vaccinate, whereas intention to vaccinate had a direct effect. The moderating effect of perceived behavioral control on the relationship between subjective norms and intention to vaccinate was significant. Conclusion: Interventions that foster a positive attitude toward COVID-19 vaccination and bolster subjective norms and perceived behavioral control can boost the intention to be vaccinated and facilitate the uptake of COVID-19 vaccination.
This study was conducted to evaluate changes in nutritional knowledge, attitudes, behavior intention and behavior in a sample of 27 insulin dependent diabetic students participating in diabetics' camp. Nutritional knowledge related to diabetes, attitudes toward diabetes treatment and behavior intention about dietary changes were tested before and after nutrition education. Six months after nutrition education, an open ended questionnaire about their actual behavior changes was mailed to all participants and 17 of them responded. Pre-and post-testing showed that nutrition education was effective in significant changes in knowledge and in promoting positive attitudes and behavior intention. Increases of knowledge were consistently the same regardless of sex, level of education, regularity of diet, and duration of disease. Compared to male students, female students showed more positive change in knowledge, attitudes and behavior intention. It also appeared that middle school students showed more positive improvement in knowledge, attitudes and behavior than elementary and high school students. A follow-up test showed that their actual behavior changes were not squared with their behavior intention. They pointed out difficulties in having proper amount of meals and snack and the conflict with school time schedule as the major reason for discordance. These findings suggest that nutrition education for diabetics can be effective to improve their knowledge, attitudes and behavior intention and understanding about barriers to behavior change is important for better compliance to the disease.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the compulsive hoarding behavior of consumers on the intention to purchase hedonic and utilitarian types of products. Design/methodology/approach - The online and offline survey was conducted and a total of 210 domestic data were collected. Simple and multiple regression analysis and ANOVA were conducted to analyze the data. Findings - First, the consumers'compulsive hoarding behavior had a significantly positive influence on the purchase intention. According to the analysis results of the sub-factors, however, only 'Difficulty Discarding' had a significant influence on the purchase intention, while 'Clutter' and 'Acquisition' did not. Second, as the results of identifying the moderating effect by product type in the purchase intention in accordance with the consumers'compulsive hoarding behavior, their compulsive hoarding behavior had a significant influence on only the intention to purchase hedonic products but not on the intention to purchase utilitarian ones. Similarly, the results of analyzing the sub-factors showed that only'Difficulty Discarding' significantly influenced the intention to purchase hedonic types of products, but 'Clutter' and 'Acquisition' were not significantly influential to both the hedonic and utilitarian types of products. Research implications or Originality - First, this study is meaningful in that it expanded the research discussion on compulsive hoarding behavior by conducting empirical research on this behavior in the general public, which is unlike the previous studies that focused on only severe pathological compulsive hoarding behavior. Second, it identified that the consumers'compulsive hoarding behavior could cause purchase behaviors that were different depending on the type of product by searching the purchase intention with divided types of products (hedonic and utilitarian).
The purpose of this study is to review the effects of organizational citizenship behavior on innovative behavior and intention to leave, and the moderating effects of self-efficacy in Korea Politechnics' teachers and professors. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data were gathered and analysed from 206 employees of Korea Politechnics campus. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship appeared to be positively related with innovative behavior. Second, courtesy, conscientiousness, sportsmanship appeared to be negatively related with intention to leave. Third, self-efficacy moderated negatively the relationship between altruism and intention to leave. Fourth, self-efficacy moderated negatively the relationship between sportsmanship and intention to leave.

Researches based on the pattern of planned behavior holds that the three variables of entrepreneurial attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control influence each other and influence entrepreneurial intentions respectively. However, there are also different, even conflicting research conclusions that continue to emerge. Researches based on the pattern of alertness, believe that profit opportunities and individuals' pursuit to truth are the driving forces. Many scholars have demonstrated the impact of individual entrepreneurial alertness on entrepreneurial intentions. However, as an exogenous causal agent, profit opportunities have a logical problem: if there are no other assumptions, the mere existence of opportunities does not adequately explain entrepreneurial alertness. To address this gap, this study considered samples from mainland China, where entrepreneurial activities are very active currently, to test the role that entrepreneurial alertness is assumed to play in the planned behavior model. The results show that the three dimensions of alertness, individually partly intermediate the influence of entrepreneurial attitude on entrepreneurial intention, the influence of subjective norms on entrepreneurial intention, and that of perceived behavior control on entrepreneurial intention. This article studied the production of entrepreneurial intention by integrating the two patterns of planned behavior and alertness through empirical analysis, and opened up a new field for subsequent research on entrepreneurial intention.
This study examined the effects of employers' breach of safety obligation and violation of psychological contract on the workers' safety behaviors and turnover intention. Especially, this study examined a mediating effect of violation of psychological contract on the relationship between employer's breach of safety obligation and workers' safety behavior and turnover. 198 workers were asked to respond to the questionnaires that measured various demographic variables, employers' breach of safety obligation, violation of psychological contract, safety behavior, turnover intention. A hierarchical regression was conducted to identify variables that had significant relationships between employers' breach of safety obligation and employees' safety behavior and turnover intention, and to examine the mediating effect of violation of psychological contract. Results indicated that the employers' breach of safety obligation significantly predicted both workers' safety behaviors and turnover intention. It was also found that the violation of psychological contract was a significant predictor for both workers' safety behavior and turnover intention. In addition, violation of psychological contract was found as mediating effect on the relationship between employers' breach of safety obligation and workers' safety behavior and turnover intention. Based on these results, the implications of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

As the technology developed, the system is being developed as the structure that is adapted to the intelligent environment. Therefore, the existing situation information system couldn't provide satisfactory service to the user as it provides service only by the information which it received from the sensor. This paper analyzed the problems of the existing user intention awareness system and suggested user intention awareness system to provide a stable and efficient service that fits to the intention of the user compensating this. This paper has collected the behavior data based on the scenario of the sequential behavior course of the user that occurs at breakfast time in the kitchen which is the home domain environment thai is closely related to our lives. This scenario course also showed the flow that the goal intentional user intention awareness system acted that it suggested, and showed the sequential course processing the user behavior data by tables and charts.
The purposes of this study were to explain consumer attitude, behavioral intention and behavior(expenses) in the purchase of Han-gwa and to explore the influencing factors on them. To achieve these purposes, the Heckman two-step model was utilized to utilize the recursive system of attitude, behavioral intention and behavior. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Seventy-six percent of consumers presented their favorable altitudes to purchase Han-gwa, while $47\%$ of consumers had behavioral intention for purchasing Han-gwa. In addition, purchasing expense of Han-gwa per year as a proxy variable of behavior was less than 100,000 won for most consumers. 2) First, consumer attitude was found to be significantly influenced by the type of family and food safety. Second, the behavioral intention for purchasing Han-gwa was found to be significantly influenced by consumer attitude, age, income, education and price. Finally, consumer behavior(expenses) of purchasing Han-gwa was found to be significantly influenced by the behavioral intention, income and purchasing place.
Purpose: This study aimed to verify the effects of nurses' COVID-19 related stress, hardiness, and organizational citizenship behavior on nursing intention in infectious disease hospitals. Methods: The participants were 182 nurses. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple stepwise regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: The nursing intention of nurses differed significantly by age (p=.013), marital status (p=.002), clinical career (p=.018), job position (p=.005), and experience of education for infectious disease management (p=.016). A statistically significant positive correlation was observed between nursing intention and COVID-19 related stress(r=.18), and between nursing intention and organizational citizenship behavior(r=.43). COVID-19 related stress, and organizational citizenship behavior explained 21% of the nursing intention. Conclusion: Based on the above results, improve the nursing intention of infectious disease hospital nurses exposed to risk, and it is necessary to manage inadequate stress of infectious diseases and cultivate organizational citizenship behavior.
