Implementation of Remote Control System of Robot using Web Browser (웹 브라우져를 이용한 원거리 로봇 조작 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper we implement a robot system consisted of mobile tole robot to be controlled by client through web browser Newly Internet is connected to all network of the whole world. If client uses the network like this, client can control direction of a robot that is selected in free place. In this study, system is embodied in using robot that can move freely in plan place and cod camera that can grab robot image. System transmit image data of cod camera to java server that is placed in web server of internet that is used by client. Java server display incoming data in home page using java applet. Then web browser offer robot image to client and client send remote control signal to robot. Control signal is transmitted to robot by java server and robot receiving signal moves toward direction wanted by client.

  • In this paper, neural networks predictive PID (NNPPID) control system is proposed to reduce the vibration of structure. NNPPID control system is made up predictor, controller, and self-tuner to yield the optimal parameters of controller. The neural networks predictor forecasts the future outputs based on present input and output of structure. The controller is PID type whose parameters are yielded by neural networks self tuning algorithm. Computer simulations show displacements of multi-story structures applied to NNPPID system about environmental load-wind forces and earthquakes.

  • This paper proposes a pulse-width-modulation (PWM) controller design technique using intelligent digital redesign. Intelligent digital redesign is to convert a well-designed analog fuzzy-model-based controller into an equivalent pulse-amplitude-modulation (PAM) digital controller maintaining the original analog control system in the sense of state-matching. In similar line of conversion concept, the redesigned PAM intelligent digital controller is converted into a PWM controller using the equivalent area principle. To convincingly visualize the proposed technique, an computer simulation example-attitude control of nonlinear artificial satellite system is included.

  • In real system application, the obstacle avoidance system for the autonomous control of the underwater flight vehicle (UFV) operates with the following problems: it has local information because the sonar can only offer the obstacle information in a local detection area, it requires a continuous control input because the system that has reduced acoustic noise and power consumption is necessary, and further, it requires an easy design procedure in terms of its structures and parameters. To solve these problems, an intelligent obstacle avoidance algorithm using the evolution strategy (ES) and the fuzzy logic controller (FLC), is proposed. To verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, the obstacle avoidance of UFV is performed. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm effectively solves the problems in the real system application.

  • Method for regulating voltage using a generator voltage regulating device (AVR) is divided in an existing analog system and a digital replacement. Typically, to adjust the voltage by using a brushless excitation system of the type to be reduced for a voltage change under all. The control method of the AVR as a PID (proportional-integral-differential) control method is widely used. However, the control scheme is to reduce the transient response of the control parameters of the controller to the control object. Therefore, if the control target should change, there is a problem, reset the parameters of the controller again. In this study, without having to reset the parameters of the controller for the parameter variations to be controlled iPID (intelligent PID) using a controller designed to obtain a generator AVR system voltage variation is small in response to full load is applied to and through simulations and experiments improved transient response.

  • An intelligent road transport management system focused on microscopic, real-time traffic signal control is proposed. Referring to the development of those systems in Japan, extensive use of image traffic detectors observing the movement of vehicles inside intersections, and direct data exchange between the signal controllers of neighboring intersections are newly assumed. On site investigation of five intersections in Japan or in Malaysia shows the possibility of effective information provision and simple algorithm for solving heavy congestion, as well as easy installation.

Absolute Stability of the Simple Fuzzy Logic Controller

  • The stability analysis for the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) has widely been reported. Furthermore many research in the FLC has been introduced to decrease the number of parameters representing the antecedent part of the fuzzy control rule. In this paper we briefly explain a single-input fuzzy logic controller (SFLC) or simple-structured FLC which uses only a single input variable. And then we analyze that it is absolutely stale based on the sector bounded condition. We also show the feasibility of the proposed stability analysis through a numerical example of a mass-damper-spring system.

  • In this paper, first, the fuzzy Petri net inference mechanism with learning function is proposed by using the extended fuzzy Petri nets. Secondly, a control system with this new inference engine is proposed. This system can do automatically and easily the knowledge acquisition from the operator's empirical data and can also be controller adaptively under the big parameter change.

  • Rotational inverted pendulum is a typical under-actuated system. For its highly nonlinear characteristic, a sliding mode controller is chosen for its robustness against the system uncertainties. Tow fuzzy inference mechanisms are applied in this paper to reduce the chattering phenomenon. One is proposed to construct a time-varying sliding surface. Another one is used to obtain the minimum upper bound of the uncertainties. A comparison between the conventional sliding mode and the fuzzy sliding mode is shown by simulations.

  • This work discusses simulation results for the fuzzy logic controller tested the project“Fuzzy Ramp Metering Algorithm Implementation.”The performance objectives were, in order of priority, to maximize total vehicle-miles, maximize mainline speeds, and minimize delay per vehicle while maintaining an acceptable ramp queue. In the fuzzy logic controller, the sensors from the on-ramps were helpful in maintaining reasonable ramp queue and mainline congestion because it considered these factors simultaneously. Each metered ramp had a parameter input file, which allowed the controller to be modified without recompiling the software. Consequently, maintenance costs should be minimal.
