  • In this study, a controller which has a feedforward controller and two additional PI integrators was designed. But if a controller is used by only the integration of a feedforward controller and two additional PI integrators, the capability of a controller will decrease because the decoupling terms of current is feedback as the disturbance. Therefore the feedforward method with the decoupling compensation was proposed. The two additional PI integrators were replaced by two decoupling terms to simplify the calculation. The simulation and experimental using SynRM driving system were performed to verify the design of a improved decoupling feedforward controller.

  • In this paper, design and integration of a newly developed double-tracked mobile robot called ROBHAZ-DT are introduced. It is designed to carry out military and civil missions in various hazardous environments such as the areas of fire, war, disaster and mine field etc. ROBHAZ-DT is configured with three mechanical bodies, namely front, rear and main body. By using its rotational passive adaptation mechanism equipped between the front and rear bodies, ROBHAZ-DT shows a good mobile capability on uneven terrain including stairs.   • The purpose of this study is to implement web-based quality cost management system to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. Developed WQCMS(Web-based Q-Cost Management System) have ability to collect and analyze quality data generated from various different departments in the inside or outside of the enterprise without any limitations, if end-users are able to access wide area network. It provides the capability to integrate quality information from database and to generate various easy analysis reports to management's needs using built-in analysis tool modules with real-time. The proposed system was developed using Microsoft's .Net technology, ASP.NET and MS-SQL Server 2000. By web-enabling Q-cost management system, the effectiveness of the system management and utilization was realized by easiness of information integration and economical efficiency.

Measurements of Magnetic Properties of Electromagnetic Actuator in High-Temperature Environment

  • Electromagnetic actuators are versatile and able to meet demanding requirements, such as operation in very low or very high temperatures. When the actuator is used in a high-temperature environment up to $500^{\circ}C$, we need to know how the force-producing capability of the actuator is affected by the operating temperature. Specifically, it is necessary to know the temperature-dependence of magnetic properties that determine the mechanical forces. In this paper, we measure the changes in magnetic properties of SUS410 material in high-temperature environment. We also devise a novel signal processing technique to remove the integration drift. At the field strength of 18,000 A/m, we found that the flux density at $500^{\circ}C$ is decreased by 26%, compared to the result at room temperature. Therefore, the actuator must be sized appropriately, if it is to operate in high-temperature settings.

  • Cooperative systems among various unmanned vehicles are widely used in various field and emerging. Unmanned vehicles are able to operate various missions without operator onboard and they are highly stable. Collaborative work of multiple unmanned vehicles is emphasized due to the difficulty of recent missions such as SEAD (Suppression of the Enemy Air Defenses), MUSIC (Manned Unmanned Systems Integration Capability), goldentime in the rescue mission. In this study, ROS and Pixhawk were proposed as a method of construction of a collaboration system and framework for an integrated simulation environment for heterogeneous unmanned vehicles is proposed. Totally 5 unmanned vehicles were set for the simulation for the observation of illegal fishing boats. This paper shows the feasibility of the cooperative system using ROS and Pixhawk through the simulation and the experiment.

  • Korean society is changing into multicultural society with increasing international marriage and immigrant influx. The increasing number of immigrants in Korean society suggests the necessity of social and economic integration of people with diverse cultural backgrounds. We study the entrepreneurial intention of multicultural immigrant. Cultural intelligence is closely related with sustainable value and belief to their eagerness in surviving of the 2nd country. Cultural intelligence is the individual's capability to function or manage effectively in different cultural settings or in multicultural settings. It is assumed that the cultural intelligence of multicultural immigrant might affect the entrepreneurial intention. Based on the theory of planned behavior, we set up the research model. 243 usable responses of multicultural immigrants in Korea were analyzed. Our findings suggest that cultural intelligence positively affected entrepreneurial intention by affecting subjective norm and perceived behavior control. This study contributed the study of the entrepreneurial intention and multicultural immigrant.

Enhancing Video Storyboarding with Artificial Intelligence: An Integrated Approach Using ChatGPT and Midjourney within AiSAC

  • The increasing incorporation of AI in video storyboard creation has been observed recently. Traditionally, the production of storyboards requires significant time, cost, and specialized expertise. However, the integration of AI can amplify the efficiency of storyboard creation and enhance storytelling. In Korea, AiSAC stands at the forefront of AI-driven storyboard platforms, boasting the capability to generate realistic images built on open datasets foundations. Yet, a notable limitation is the difficulty in intricately conveying a director's vision within the storyboard. To address this challenge, we proposed the application of image generation features from ChatGPT and Midjourney to AiSAC. Through this research, we aimed to enhance the efficiency of storyboard production and refined the intricacy of expression, thereby facilitating advancements in the video production process.

  • 국내 많은 기업들이 CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) 모델을 도입해서 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스를 구축 및 내재화 후 CMU(Carnegie Mellon University)의 SEI(Software Engineering Institute)로부터 인증을 받고 있지만, CMMI Maturity Level 3 이상 인증 받은 조직에서 조차도 프로젝트 지연 및 품질 문제가 자주 발생한다. 프로젝트 지연 문제는 개발 단계 이후에 대부분 발생되고 있으며, 이는 현저히 낮은 소프트웨어 개발 생산성의 영향 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 프로젝트 개발 생산성에 영향을 미치는 중요 요인을 분석하고, 이에 따른 작업의 가치를 결정하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • This review comprehensively explores the evolution, theoretical underpinnings, variations, and applications of diffusion models. Originating as a generative framework, diffusion models have rapidly ascended to the forefront of machine learning research, owing to their exceptional capability, stability, and versatility. We dissect the core principles driving diffusion processes, elucidating their mathematical foundations and the mechanisms by which they iteratively refine noise into structured data. We highlight pivotal advancements and the integration of auxiliary techniques that have significantly enhanced their efficiency and stability. Variants such as bridges that broaden the applicability of diffusion models to wider domains are introduced. We put special emphasis on the ability of diffusion models as a crucial foundation model, with modalities ranging from image, 3D assets, and video. The role of diffusion models as a general foundation model leads to its versatility in many of the downstream tasks such as solving inverse problems and image editing. Through this review, we aim to provide a thorough and accessible compendium for both newcomers and seasoned researchers in the field.

델파이 기법과 CMMI를 활용한 군 정비창 기술수준 진단체계 연구사례 (Research Case of Military Maintenance Depot Technology Level Diagnosis System Using Delphi Technique and CMMI)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design an objective and comparable diagnostic system for diagnosing the technology level of military maintenance depots and verify its actual applicability. Methods: Literature Review, Capability Maturity Model Integration, Analytic Hierarchy Process. Results: Military maintenance depot maintenance quality level diagnosis items, Maintenance quality level by maintenance technology area, Guidelines for diagnosing maintenance quality level, Quality level comparison results by area and implications for improvement. Conclusion: In order to systematically evaluate the maintenance quality of military maintenance depots, this study was conducted with the goal of designing an overall maintenance quality diagnosis system, including diagnosis areas, diagnosis items, and a diagnosis score award system, by improving the existing evaluation method. In addition, the newly developed maintenance quality diagnosis system was applied to actual evaluation activities and the results were returned to members, confirming the usefulness of the developed maintenance quality diagnosis system in the field.
