Although Korea is short of capital technology, and natural resources, she has achieved an outstanding progress by the export-drive policies by Korean government and the creative endeavor of Korean firms. As a result of that, Korean economy and enterprises are in the same file of newly industrialized countries and Korea is ready for an economic take-off as a developed country. But in the early 1980s, each country strengthens protective trade theory and resources nationalism, and this has a great influence on the field of international trade environment. In spite of that, to continue the same high development as that of the past. Korea must try to secure and find export markets, solve trade barriers, make sure of the long-term security of resources, develop technology, and strengthen economic cooperations. To satisfy these desires by 2000s, we must try to make Korean enterprises have the global competitive power and them grow strongly among world wide firm through capital and technology accumulated during the passed years, and to do so, there must be a foreign production and marketing management, too, this can be achieved only through foreign overseas direct investment. This investment has various forms, to say, verifical integrated, horizontal integrated. conglomerate integrated forms, and the amount of investment in each country from 18 century to today reaches 500 billion dollars. This investment is done by strategic, behavioral economic, and financial motives. So I am going to approach the fields of like these; in spite of the differences among political, economical, caltural, and social systems, and many risk compared with domestic enterprises, why do Korean firms witsh to transfer the productive facilities to overseas countries and run them there? What is the comparative advantage of foreign direct investment compared with domestic investment ?. why is the factor of comparative advantage transferred through foreign direct investment?, what is the motive of foreign overseas direct investment?, and last the ownership-specific factors and the theory of internalization, and the location specific factors were analysed chiefly. But in consideration of the given condition in Korea, Korean overseas direct investment must be propelled rationally on the basis of the above mentioned theory.

The purpose of this research is to provide the logistics research with a focus on the methods and theory of the research. This paper finds to explain the patterns of logistics research in domestic through the investigation of different theories and research methods employed. A analysis of methods in selected topics allows published research of the logistics to be categorized. Research classified into integrated table by each theory, research topic, methodology and triangulation. Study presented a variety of research paradigms in logistics and contributed to the current literature by providing an outlook of the logistics research.

This paper aims to investigate the impact of corporate governance on the quality of integrated reporting. Corporate governance includes internal (board size, board independence, and board diversity) and external (audit quality and enforcement) governance factors. This paper develops an index to capture the quality of integrated reporting by employing the completeness of information required by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). For an international sample, the paper manually collects 160 integrated reports along with internal and external governance factors and employs multivariate analyses to examine the association between these governance factors and the quality of integrated reporting. The empirical results suggest that firms with a larger board of directors, a larger proportion of female members on board, and located in countries with enforcement for integrated reporting requirements have a higher quality of integrated reporting. Our conclusions still hold after accounting for several conditions, including the industry-fixed and year-fixed effects. Together, these results suggest that both internal and external governance factors are important determinants for the quality of integrating reporting. These results have several theoretical and practical implications as they fulfill the absence of relevant studies on addressing the impact of internal and external corporate governance factors on the quality of integrated reporting.

경관과 정원은 현대 도시에서 중요한 실천 매체로 부각되었다. 이 중 본 논문에서는 정원을 프레임으로 도시를 살펴본다. 정원은 도시민의 활동 매체로 재설정되고 있으며, 도시 재생과 도시형 마을 만들기의 중요한 실행 주제가 되었기 때문이다. 이런 입장에서 본 논문은 정원을 매개로 나타나는 도시 구조와 도시민의 행태, 그 과정 및 결과에 집중하여 볼 때 현시대 우리에게 적합한 조경이론으로 "통합적 정원도시론"을 검토하고 제안한다. 이것은 한 세기 넘도록 진화해온 조경을 되돌아보며, 조경의 정체성을 되묻는 과정이자 결과이기도 하다. 먼저 정원과 도시 사이에서 조경의 씨앗을 품어둔 바 있는 에벤에저 하워드(Ebenezer Howard)와 프레드릭 로 옴스테드(Frederick Law Olmsted)의 입장이 크게 다르지 않았음에 주목하며 '작동하는 경관과 감응하는 풍경'이 도시의 기본적 요소이자 조경이론의 시작이었음을 정원도시론을 통해 살펴보았다. 또한 지난 세기를 지나며 그들의 이상이 도시에 모두 구현되지는 못하였으나, 현재는 동아시아 도시에서 전통 정원문화에 기반한 정원의 원형이 형성되고 있음을 살펴보고, 그에 대응하는 조경이론의 진화 방향을 살펴보았다. 결론은 새로운 버전의 정원 개념은 우리 도시에서 생활 인프라로 재설정되어야 한다는 것과 그것이 작동하기 위한 새로운 정원도시론이 필요하다는 것이다. 이를 위해 각 장별로 다음과 같이 세 가지 논점을 검토하였다. 첫째, 현대 도시에서 나타나는 정원과 동아시아 정원문화의 가치는 공동체성(community)과 통합성(integrity)을 주제로 형상화되고 있다. 둘째, 아파트로 대표되는 한국적 공동체성은 가드닝(gardening)으로 표출되며 도시와 생활의 재결합과 그것을 지원해줄 전문분야로서 조경의 역할을 필요로 하고 있다. 셋째, 동양적 자연관에 기초한 도시 기반, 일상생활, 정원 매체, 즉 도시-생활-정원이 유기적인 실천론으로서 통합적 정원도시론을 검토하고 고민해 본다. 결과적으로 현대의 정원과 도시는 동아시아 조경문화, 정원문화에서 아직 재발견이 필요한 중요한 요소와 가치들을 찾고 있음이 확인된다. 통합적 정원도시론의 제안이 조경의 지속을 담보할 수는 없겠지만, 이를 계기로 조경뿐만 아니라 도시와 관련한 모든 분야가 협업하며 정원도시를 고민하는 기회는 될 수 있다. 이를 통해 "대도시 또는 밀집 도시에 적합한 정원과 도시의 개념, 공동체성에 기반한 정원문화의 확산과 지원 방안, 생활방식과 지형조건에 적합한 조경이론/설계이론의 진화, 기후변화 대응이 가능한 지속가능한/회복탄력적인 정원도시론 모색, 그리고 21세기 조경의 새로운 역할 설정" 등이 본격적으로 고민되길 기대한다.

The integrated power system combining a tidal power plant and two ocean current power parks is suggested. It is characterized by the set up of an ocean current power park in the lake side by installing a number of ocean current turbines generating electricity by using sea water flow discharged into the lake side from the turbine generator of a tidal power plant and an ocean current power park in the sea side by installing a number of ocean current turbines generating electricity by using sea water flow exiting into the sea side through the sluice gate from the lake side. The vision of the integrated power system is demonstrated by the simple theory and simulation results of the SIWHA Tidal Power Plant. And it is shown that the newly proposed integrated power system combining tidal power and ocean current power can produce very high economical benefits.

A novel integrated optimization method based on the Generalized Bender’s Decomposition (GBD) is proposed to combine both generation and transmission expansion problems. Most of existing researches on the integrated expansion planning based on the GBD theory incorporate DC power flow model to guarantee the convergence and improve the computation time. Inherently the GBD algorithm based on DC power flow model cannot consider variables and constraints related bus voltages and reactive power. In this paper, an integrated optimization method using the GBD algorithm based on a linearized AC power flow model is proposed to resolve aforementioned drawback. The proposed method has been successfully applied to Garver’s six-bus system and the IEEE 30-bus system which are frequently used power systems for transmission expansion planning studies.

Third party logistics research is searching for increasing its logistics efficiency of organization. Perspective of resource-based theory, this study is to reveal the exploratory relation between integrated capabilities, organzaiton knowledge, and service performance. To develop the relational model, this study conducted a theoretical survey on Shang(2009)'s 3PL service providers research model and Synder & Cumming(1998)'s learning of organization knowledge. According to the result of correlation analysis, Integrated organization knowledge is positively correlated with service diversity advantage (correlation coefficient= .670, p-value= .000) and service quality advantage (correlation coefficient= .575, p-value= .000). The thesis argued that Korean companies try to apply integrated organization abilities and service performance for cutting their export expense.

Strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) integrated with astronavigation system (ANS) yields reliable mission capability and enhanced navigational accuracy for spacecrafts. The theory and characteristics of integrated system based on unscented Kalman filtering is investigated in this paper. This Kalman filter structure uses unscented transform to approximate the result of applying a specified nonlinear transformation to a given mean and covariance estimate. The filter implementation subsumed here is in a direct feedback mode. Axes misalignment angles of the SINS are observation to the filter. A simple approach for simulation of axes misalignment using stars observation is presented. The SINS error model required for the filtering algorithm is derived in space-stabilized mechanization. Simulation results of the integrated navigation system using a medium accuracy SINS demonstrates the validity of this method on improving the navigation system accuracy with the estimation and compensation for gyros drift, and the position and velocity errors that occur due to the axes misalignments.

The Integrated Force Method (IFM) has been developed in recent years for the analysis of civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering structures. In this method all independent or internal forces are treated as unknown variables which are calculated by simultaneously imposing equations of equilibrium and compatibility conditions. The solution by IFM needs the computation of element equilibrium and flexibility matrices from the assumed displacement, stress-resultant fields and material properties. This paper presents a general purpose code for the automatic generation of element equilibrium and flexibility matrices for plate bending elements using the Integrated Force Method. Kirchhoff and the Mindlin-Reissner plate theories have been employed in the code. Paper illustrates development of element equilibrium and flexibility matrices for the Mindlin-Reissner theory based four node quadrilateral plate bending element using the Integrated Force Method.
