100㎛급 글라스 버블 혼입 시멘트계 초경량 무기 단열재의 단열 및 난연특성 (Thermal Insulation and Flame Retardant Properties of Cement Based Super Light-weight Inorganic Thermal Insulation using 100㎛ Grade Glass Bubble)

  • 건축물의 에너지 절약기준이 강화되면서 외단열 공법의 적용과 단열재 두께가 증가하고 있다. 유기계 단열재는 시공성, 경제성 등 시공비용 절감 효과와 뛰어난 단열성능을 가지고 있다. 하지만, 유기계 단열재 특성상 열에 매우 취약하므로 화재 발생 시 급격한 화재확산과 유독가스 발생으로 심각한 피해가 발생한다. 무기계 단열재는 기본적으로 불연성능을 가지나 무겁고 유기계 단열재에 비해 단열성능이 떨어진다. 글라스 버블은 소다 라임 보로실리케이트 유리로 밀도가 매우 낮고, 내부가 비어 있는 구형의 입자로 볼베어링 효과로 유동성이 개선된다. 또한, 무기계 단열재에 혼입하여 사용할 경우 밀도와 단열성능이 개선된다. 본 연구는 시멘트계 재료와 글라스 버블을 혼합하여 무기 단열재를 제조하였고 단열, 난연 및 불연성능을 평가하였다. 연구 결과, 글라스 버블의 혼입률이 증가할수록 열린 기공을 형성하고 있으나, 기공 및 셀 벽에 분포됨에 따라 충분한 단열성능을 보인다. 또한, 글라스 버블의 혼입률은 10% 이하로 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.

The Analysis of Heat Transfer through the Multi-layered Wall of the Insulating Package

  • Thermal insulation is used in a variety of applications to protect temperature sensitive products from thermal damage. Several factors affect the performance of insulation packages. Among these factors, the thermal resistance of the insulating wall is the most important factor to determine the performance of the insulating package. In many cases, insulating wall consists of multi-layered structure and the heat transfer through this structure is a very complex process. In this study, an one-dimensional mathematical model, which includes all of the heat transfer principles covering conduction, convection and radiation in multi-layered structure, were developed. Based on this model, several heat transfer phenomena occurred in the air space between the layer of the insulating wall were investigated. From the simulation results, it was observed that the heat transfer through the air space between the layer were dominated by conduction and radiation and the low emissivity of the surface of each solid layer of the wall can dramatically increase the thermal resistance of the wall. For practical use, an equation was derived for the calculation of the thermal resistance of a multi-layered wall.

Condensation Prevention Performance Assessment Taking Into Account Thermal Insulation Performance Degradation Due to Aging for Apartment Housing

  • Purpose: The current study analyzed trends in thermal insulation performance with aging, and condensation characteristics caused by the former. Method: Thermal insulation and condensation prevention performance of an architecture were assessed using Temperature Difference Ration Inside, or TDRi. Subjects of this quantitative analysis in thermal insulation performance change due to aging included recently constructed apartments and aged apartments older than 40 years. Time series comparison and analysis were conducted to observed changes in the thermal insulation performance and condensation characteristics. Result: Analysis showed that wall insulation performance degraded with aging regardless of fortified insulating material usage or insulating material type, which caused increased danger of condensation. In addition, when fortified insulating material was installed on the connection between the walls, insulation performance degradation was lower compared to cases in which fortified materials were not used. In all cases from 1 to 10, the rate of thermal insulation performance degradation increased after 20 years of aging.

  • The mechanical, electrical and thermal characteristics of insulating materials may significantly affect the performance and reliability of electrical devices using superconductors. General method to provide insulating layer between coated conductors is wrapping coated conductor with Kapton tape. But uniform and compact wrapping without failure or delamination in whole coverage for long length conductor is not a simple task and need careful control. Coating of insulating layer directly on coated conductor is desirable for providing compact insulating layer rather than wrapping insulating layers around conductor. Ceramic added polymer has been widely used as an insulating material for electric machine because of its good electrical insulating properties as well as excellent heat resistance and fairy good mechanical properties. The insulating layer of coated conductor should have high breakdown voltage and possesses suitable mechanical strength and maintain adhesiveness at the cryogenic temperature where it is used and withstand stress from thermal cycling. The insulating and mechanical properties of polymer can be improved by adding functional filler. In this study, insulating layer has been made by adding ceramic particles such as $SiO_2$ to a polymer resin. The size, amount and morphology of added ceramic powder was controlled and their effect on dielectric property of the final composite was measured and discussed for optimum composite fabrication.

  • This paper presents the effectiveness of cold weather concreting by applying both anti-freeze agent and insulating forms developed through previous study investigating insulating effects on the concrete and the strength gain. According to test results, in $-10^{\circ}C$ of air temperature, when euroforms are applied, the temperature of plain concrete drops below $0^{\circ}C$ and maintains its temperature during early 24 hours. However, when insulating forms are applied, the temperature of concrete keeps 8~$13^{\circ}C$ during first 24 hours. Insulating forms has better performance on insulating effects than existing euroforms. Concrete containing anti-freeze agent shows temperature rising effects about $1^{\circ}C$ compared to plain concrete. Strength gain of core concrete shows higher when insulating forms is applied.

Analysis of DC insulation and properties of epoxy/ceramic composites with nanosized ZnO/TiO2 fillers

  • A molded transformer is maintenance-free, which makes it unnecessary to replace the insulating material, like in an oil-filled transformer, because the epoxy, which is a molded insulating resin, does not suffer variations in its insulating performance for heat cycles over a long time, as compared to insulating oil. In spite of these advantages, a molded transformer may still be accessed by the user, which is not good in regards to reliability or noise compared to the oil transformers. In particular, a distrust exists regarding reliability due to the long-term insulating performance. These properties have been studied in regards to the improvement of epoxy composites and molded transformer insulation. There have nevertheless been insufficient investigations into the insulation properties of epoxy composites. In this study, it is a researching of the epoxy for insulating material. In order to prepare the specimens, a main resin, a hardener, an accelerator, and a nano/micro filler were used. Varying amounts of TiO2 and ZnO nano fillers were added to the epoxy mixture along with a fixed amount of micro silica. This paper presents the DC insulation breakdown test, thermal expansion coefficient, and thermal conductivity results for the manufactured specimens. From these results, it has been found that the insulating performance of nano/micro epoxy composites is improved as compared to plain molded transformer insulation, and that nano/micro epoxy composites contribute to the reliability and compactness of molded transformers.

가속내구성 조건에 따른 건축용 유기계 단열재의 단열성능 변화 (Changes in Insulation Performance of Organic Insulating Materials for Building Construction by Accelerated Durability Test Conditions)

  • 현재 건축구조물에 사용되는 단열재의 단열성능은 초기성능을 기준으로 설계 시에만 반영하고 있으며, 장기 내구성 저하에 따른 단열성능 감소는 반영되고 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 가속내구성 시험을 통해 단열재의 내구성 저하에 따른 단열성능 저하를 검토하였다. 연구결과, 발포폴리스티렌 단열재 비드법의 경우 표준환경 조건 및 실험실 가속 시험 조건에서는 경시변화에 따른 성능저하가 나타나지 않았으나, 동결 융해 시험 조건에는 성능이 저하하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 압출법의 경우 동결 융해 시험 조건에서는 단열성능 저하가 작았지만, 경시변화 초기에 내부 가스의 방출로 급격한 성능저하를 나타내었다. 또한, 경질 폴리우레탄 폼 단열재의 경우 다른 단열재에 비해 초기 단열성능이 매우 뛰어났으나, 실험실 가속 시험조건 및 동결 융해 시험 조건에서는 성능이 다소 저하하는 것으로 나타났다.

케이블 접속재 부분방전 특성에 미치는 보이드의 영향 (Influence of Partial Discharge Properties due to Void in Cable Joint Parts)

  • To investigate the partial discharge and electric field distribution in cable joint parts, we measured the partial discharge and electric field in specimen. The specimens which cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE) and ethylene propylene diene ethylene(EPDM) are used to insulating material for underground cable md cable jointing parts. The polymers are used to insulating material in switchgear which is a kind of transformer equipment and in ultra-high voltage cable. Its using is increasing gradually, the electrical insulation properties are not only excellent but also mechanical property is excellent. And because it is possible to be made void of several type in insulator while it is produced, which the electrical field distribution is changed by void, it has a critical influence to insulator performance. The underground cable is connecting by the jointing material, insulating breakdown and the electric ageing which are caused by several mixing impurity and the damage of cable insulator layer, which reduced the life of cable while intermediate joint kit is connected. Therefore, the computer simulation is used to estimating insulator performance, XLPE is used to the insulating material of ultra-high voltage cable and EPDM is used to insulator layer in joint material kit, and which are produced as specimen. And it is analyzed the electric field concentrating distribution and partial discharge by modeling of computer simulation in void and cable joint kit.

다겹보온커튼의 조합에 따른 열성능의 비교 분석 (P=Comparative Analysis of Thermal Performance According to Combines of Multi-layer Insulating Curtain)

  • In this research, in order to improve the heat retention of greenhouse, comparative analysis of the heat flux of the marketed multi-later insulating curtain was carried out. Experiments is conducted by fabricating a test apparatus for investigating the heat flux characteristics. The multi-later insulating curtain used for the experiment was compared using the P, N, S, U and T company, which are commercially available, and the heat flux due to temperature difference between the experimental apparatus and the outside was compared and analyzed. When the internal temperature of the experimental result is the maximum temperature $60^{\circ}C$, the heat flux of multi-later insulating curtain is T Co.($73.1W/m^2$) > S Co.($119.5W/m^2$) > U Co.($155W/m^2$) > N Co.($163.1W/m^2$) > P Co.($177.7W/m^2$). The heat flux means the quantity of heat passing through the unit time per unit area, and the higher the numerical value, the higher the quantity of heat passing through the multi-layer insulating curtain. This can be determined that high heat fluxes produce low heat resistance. Further, it has been found that the weight of the insulating curtain is largely unrelated to the heat insulating property, and the heat insulating curtain having a thickness containing a high internal air layer is excellent in the heat insulating property. In the future when manufacturing a heat insulating curtain, It is judged that it is desirable to manufacture a combination of heat insulating materials that contain a high internal air layer content and that can maintain the air layer even for long-term use while minimizing the volume.

과전류 상태에서 고전압이 전선의 위험성에 미치는 영향

  • This paper is that study transformation and insulating performance decrease of HIV wire which is using at general electricity structure or home interior wiring of less than AC 600V by over current. When current raised 1A at 1sec, HIV wire insulator is partial charred with white smoke at 86A and conductor of HIV wire is exposed at 90A. When keep time for 5 minutes, insulating performance of the HIV wire decreased rapidly at 45A.
