창의적 캡스톤 디자인을 활용한 팀 프로젝트수업 운영에 따른 학습만족도 및 이해도 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Learning Satisfaction and Comprehension of Team Project Instruction Using Creative Capstone Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the change of comprehension degree about learning satisfaction and capstone class by applying the subject which draws idea for team project task in college to creative capstone design program. The Capstone Design Program is designed to train fieldworkers with creative problem solving skills and is widely applied as a problem-solving course in team-based projects. In this paper, based on the case study of the 'fusion capstone design' operated in the first semester of 2015 ~ 2017, the capstone design course was established in the course of designing ideas for problem solving. The results of this study are as follows: First, the questionnaire about capstone design instruction process, instruction method, and learning achievement satisfaction were analyzed. As a result, understanding of capstone design was found to be higher than that of class before class, and satisfaction of performance course, method of teaching performance and learning outcome were obtained.

  • Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) is one of the most successful professional development programs for elementary mathematics teachers in US. This article introduces its theoretical background, research-based framework of addition and subtraction work, and how the program has been disseminated. Carpenter and Fennema started CGI aiming to develop a professional development program that focused on research knowledge of children"s thinking. Their goal was. to bring a significant change in teaching by helping teachers understand how children think mathematically. This 3-year NSF funded project grew to be 11-year long, and a number of publications have reported consistent successful learning and teaching by CGI students and teachers compared to counterparts throughout US. CGI′s success by focusing on improving teachers′ knowledge of children′s thinking offers possible opportunities for teacher educators to re-conceptualize teacher education in Korea.

환경보강 유방자가검진 프로그램의 효과 (The Effects of Breast Self-examination Program Enriched Environmentally among Healthy Women)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of an environmental enrichment program on barrier, benefit, confidence, and compliance of breast self-examination in women at 3 months after instruction. Methods: Nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was conducted among 62 healthy women. Data were collected through the self-reported questionnaires from December 2008 to March 2009. Women were assigned to one of two treatment groups: (a) no-support of environmental enrichment with the instruction control group; (b) the support of environmental enrichment with the instruction experimental group. All women received the same instruction on breast self-examination once a week for two weeks. Data were analyzed with paired t-test, McNemar test and ANCOVAs of controlling for age run using SPSS/WIN 17.0. Results: The experimental group was significantly lower than control group on perceived barrier (F=5.91, p=.02) and higher than control group on compliance of breast self-examination (F=4.57, p=.04) after environmental enrichment program. However the environmental enrichment program did not make significant differences on benefit (F=0.01, p=.91) and confidence (F=0.77, p=.38). Conclusion: Findings suggest that the environmental enrichment should be needed to support women's breast self-examination and expanded for compliance of breast self-examination to promote the secondary prevention of women breast cancer.

동기전략을 적용한 의미망 프로그램 활용 수업이 고등학교 생물 학업성취도와 학습동기에 미치는 효과: 생물I '유전' 단원을 중심으로 (The Effects of a Semantic Network Program Instruction for the Learning Achievement and Learning Motivation in High School Biology Class: Centering the Unit of Heredity)

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학교 생물 I, '유전' 단원에서 Keller의 ARCS 전략 중, 특히 "주의집중"과 "만족감" 요소를 적용한, 의미 망 프로그램(Semantic Network Program)을 활용한 수업이 학생들의 학업성취도와 학습동기 향상에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 삼았다. 연구대상은 고등학교 2학년 실험집단 및 통제집단의 124명으로 구성되었고, 사전검사로 학업성취도 검사, 학습동기검사, 그리고 의미망 형성 검사를 실시한 후, 4주간에 걸쳐 6차시 동안 실험집단에게는 ARCS 전략 중 주의집중 전략을 적용한 의미망 프로그램을 활용한 유전 수업과 만족감 전략에 따른 의미망 제작 활동을, 통제집단에게는 교과서 중심의 강의식 수업을 처치하였다. 수업 처치에 따른 사후 검사 결과 동기전략을 적용한 의미망 프로그램을 활용한 수업은 강의식 수업보다 '주의집중과 만족감'을 높여 학생들의 인지구조에 새로운 지식을 효과적으로 연결시켜 생물 학업성취도를 향상시켰고(p<.001), 학생들의 유전관련 새로운 개념 형성에도 효과적인 것으로 나타났다(p<.001). 또한 본 연구에서 적용한 수업은 학생들이 생물 개념들을 구조지식으로 조직하여 이해함으로써, 기억효과를 높여 학습내용의 파지(retention)에 효과적이었다(p>.05). 실험집단의 심층면담 결과에서는 동기전략을 적용한 의미망 프로그램을 활용한 수업은 유전과 관련된 영상자료의 연결(link)로 호기심을 유발하여 주의집중이 잘 되었고, 직접 의미망을 제작해 봄으로써, 학습내용이 오랫동안 기억에 남아 문제해결에 효과적이었다는 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 앞으로 고등학교 생물 I, '유전'단원에 대한 다양한 수업 전략을 모색하는데 의미있는 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

The design of a 32-bit Microprocessor for a Sequence Control using an Application Specification Integrated Circuit(ASIC) (ICEIC'04)

  • Programmable logic controller (PLC) is widely used in manufacturing system or process control. This paper presents the design of a 32-bit microprocessor for a sequence control using an Application Specification Integrated Circuit (ASIC). The 32-bit microprocessor was designed by a VHDL with top down method; the program memory was separated from the data memory for high speed execution of 274 specified sequence instructions. Therefore it was possible that sequence instructions could be operated at the same time during the instruction fetch cycle. And in order to reduce the instruction decoding time and the interface time of the data memory interface, an instruction code size was implemented by 32-bits. And the real time debugging as single step run, break point run was implemented. Pulse instruction, step controller, master controllers, BIN and BCD type arithmetic instructions, barrel shit instructions were implemented for many used in PLC system. The designed microprocessor was synthesized by the S1L50000 series which contains 70,000 gates with 0.65um technology of SEIKO EPSON. Finally, the benchmark was performed to show that designed 32-bit microprocessor has better performance than Q4A PLC of Mitsubishi Corporation.

컴퓨팅 사고 신장을 위한 놀이중심 SW교육 교수학습 전략 (Play-based SW Education Teaching-Learning Strategy to Improve Computational Thinking)

  • 본 연구는 소프트웨어 교육의 방법으로 놀이중심 SW교육 교수학습전략이 컴퓨팅 사고력 신장에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 놀이중심 SW교육 교수학습전략은 주어진 컴퓨터 코드를 놀이 과정을 통하여 구체화하는 노력을 한 뒤 기능을 수정하고 새롭게 재구성하는 수업 전략이다. 우선 놀이중심 SW교육 교수학습전략을 적용한 교육 프로그램을 설계하여 초등학생들에게 투입하였다. 연구의 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 컴퓨팅 사고 개념과 컴퓨팅 사고 실습의 역량검사를 분석한 결과, 제안된 교수학습전략이 직접교수법보다 효과적이었으며 컴퓨팅 사고에 긍정적인 결과를 가져온 것으로 확인되었다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 인성과 관련된 다중지능을 증진시키기 위한 독서교육 프로그램을 개발하고 중학교 교육과정에 적용한 뒤 인성관련 다중지능 발달의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 충남지역의 2개 중학교, 18개 반 학생 500명을 대상으로 교육과정에 적용한 뒤 인성과 관련된 다중지능 3개 영역지능(개인이해 지능 대인관계 지능 자연관찰 지능)발달의 효과성 여부를 비교 분석하였다. 인성과 관련된 다중지능의 신장에 초점을 둔 독서교육 프로그램의 개발과 실행에 타당성 있는 안내 역할을 할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

초등학생들의 공간적 사고와 시각화 능력 함양을 위한 GeoMapApp 활용 화산 단원 수업 및 평가의 사례 (A Case Study of Instruction and Assessment on Volcano Using GeoMapApp to Foster Elementary Students' Spatial Thinking and Visualization)

  • This study investigated elementary students' spatial thinking and visualization when they learned the shape of volcanoes. For this purpose we used GeoMapApp to design instruction program and assessment items. In the instruction, students were asked to connect the floor plan view of Jeju island with the cross-sectional view of the same figure producted by GeoMapApp. Then they were asked to classify four sets of pictures of volcanoes based on the similarities of figures, that is, dome-shaped and shield volcanoes. In the assessment students solved three questions which examined how they connected the plan view and cross-sectional profile of Kilauea, draw cross-sectional profile of Mt. Fuji, and distinguished a shield volcano and dome-shaped one. Students' discourse data during the class were analyzed according to the amount to showing their spatial thinking and visualization. The instruction program using GeoMapApp assisted students to facilitate their spatial thinking for understanding of volcanoes. The outcomes of assessment showed even elementary students had good spatial thinking and visualization. Therefore, we argued spatial thinking and visualization for geoscientific understanding need to be included in the national science curriculum for elementary students.

대학생의 우주 교육을 위한 라즈베리 파이 기반 캔위성 수업자료 개발과 적용 (Development of CanSat Instruction Materials using Raspberry Pi for Space Education in University and Its Application)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop Raspberry Pi-based CanSat instruction materials for liberal arts classes to be used in university space education. The educational satellite simulation program is developed by applying the ADDIE program consisting of analysis, design, development, execution, and evaluation of 15 lessons per semester. The usefulness of the instruction materials is evaluated by a validity test of a total of 6 experts. The proposed materials are applied to 100 college students from various majors. To analyze the impact on creative problem-solving ability, a questionnaire is conducted before and after class, and as a result, it is confirmed that there is a significant improvement in all areas after class. The class satisfaction survey is conducted for a total of 10 questions, and the average score is 4.41 out of 5, which is high. In conclusion, the proposed instruction materials make it possible to achieve successful space education using Raspberry Pi and improve creative problem-solving ability in universities.

  • A graphic simulation program is developed to assimilate the remote dismantling process of research nuclear reactors. This program makes extensive use of a commercial robot graphic instruction program. Firstly, a realistic graphic model of research reactors are built along with various dismantling equipments. Using the graphic instruction languages provided by IGRIP, then, a graphic process simulation program is developed that operates interactively with the user. Consequently, it is made possible for a process designer to visualize an arbitrary dismantling sequence and interactively modify the process. It is expected that the developed system will be utilized as an effective operator aid in both design and execution phases of remote dismantling of research reactor.
