무전극 형광램프의 수명 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis on Lifetime of Fluorescent Induction Lamp)

  • This paper gives a comparative analysis on lifetime of the fluorescent induction lamp. We have treasured and analysed optical characteristics of circular type fluorescent induction lamps, which has A and B types, to estimate lifetime. In the result of analysis on lifetime, $B_{10}$ lifetime of A and B type lamps are 466 hours and 1,595 hours, respectively.

  • Active power factor correction methods for electronic ballast are reviewed in this paper. PFC technology becomes more important due to various wattage ratings of new light sources.   • In this paper, We has been studied the lifetime degradation of LED lighting system compared to MH lighting. Especially the effect of temperature level on the lifetime degradation has been investigated. The results show that temperature plays a role in the lifetime degradation and slope of degradation line represent as temperature level differently. However, It is possible to estimate the lifetime of LED lighting system using equation induced the slope of degradation line.

  • In this paper, We observed spectral responsivity of general poly-cristalline silicon solar cell. This is very important to define solar cell's characteristics. So we tested two small modules that made of poly-cristalline silicon solar cells. We expect to the result of this experiment is useful for researching and measuring solar cell's characteristics.

  • The divided channel is not often used on the river and when the installation is for the controlling of the flow quantity. The determination of the channel size is not a easy task. Model tests are examined to confirm the variation of distribution rate by the method of the channel installation and the position of the structure and the adjustment of numerical simulation is executed by the comparing of the results. This study is to execute numerical model according to installation of divided channel by using AQUADYN program, the 2nd dimension numerical model, and HEC-RAS program, the 1st dimension numerical model, by the shape of divided channel. Also, it compares with difference by method about each case.

  • As the building becomes more sophisticated, indoors and outdoors exterior decoration of construction has been increased. However, it is very difficult to produce an FDM(Free-form Decorative Mold) that meets the requirements of quality, durability, and ease of installation, resulting in a high cost. Therefore, the objective of this study is basic research for economical production of FDM production technology while satisfying the above requirements. For this study, the authors analyze the details of the shape and requirements of the FDM, and the production details and processes that reflect the characteristics. The results of this study can utilize to develop algorithms for production and management of academically efficient FDM and can utilize to secure FDM production technology at commercial level.

  • According to the high accuracy of semiconductor equipments, PCB substrate with much thin thickness is required. However, it is very difficult to sustain the PCB substrate without deformation in case of horizontal installation, due to low bending stiffness. In this research, new PCB process equipment with vertical installation has been developed in order to solve the problem of PCB substrate damage during etching process. As the main parts of etching system on PCB substrate, PCB substrate and JIG are analyzed through finite element method and experimental test. Through the analysis results of stress state, we could find the optimal JIG design to make the damage as low as possible.

  • 종교시설에서 사용되는 예배용 특수조명의 설치 사례를 통하여 현재 특수조명의 현황 및 발전 방향에 대하여 알아보고, LED 설치사례를 적용하여, 예전과 다른 기능적인 특징에 대하여 알아보았다. 할로겐 등기구에서 LED 등기구로 교체하였을 때, 조명경제성 평가에 따른 적용으로 약 25%가량 절감이 되는 것으로 확인되어 LED 등기구의 기능적인 요인과 함께 앞으로 많이 적용 될 것이라고 사료된다.

  • In order to provide electricity to users economically and safely, distribution automation systems (DASs) monitor and operate components of distribution systems remotely through communication networks. The fiber optic communication network has been mainly installed for the DAS of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) because of its huge bandwidth and dielectric noise immunity. However, the fiber optic communication network has some shortcomings that its installation cost and communication fee are expensive. This paper proposes a complex network where WLANs are combined with conventional fiber optic communication networks in order to expand DAS easily and inexpensively. A fixed wireless bridge communication unit (FWB-CU) for the proposed complex network is implemented using IEEE 802.11a WLAN technology. The proposed complex network is built actually to verify its feasibility experimentally as a DAS communication network.

Feasibility Analysis for Introducing ESCO Program of LED Luminaire Replacements in Schools

  • Public institutions should replace their luminaires with LED lighting by 2020 to save energy. Because the LED lighting installation rate in schools has not yet reached the legal goal, the ESCO program feasibility was investigated. The amount of electricity used, electric rates, times of use in classrooms and fluorescent lighting maintenance costs etc., as well as the elements of lighting maintenance were analyzed. In the case of schools, the lamp usage time was so short that the ESCO projects with only energy savings were impossible. In order to execute the ESCO projects, the maintenance cost savings by replacing an existing luminaire should be considered and the introduction of the relatively cheaper tube type LED lamp than the flat type LED luminaire was required.
