  • This paper presented new biometrics data transfer model, and use MD5 (Message Digest5) and RSA (Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir, Len Adleman) algorithm to improve biometrics data's security. So, did so that can run user authentication more safely. That is, do so that may input fingerprint among biometrics through client, and transmit processed fingerprint to server. When fingerprint information is transmitted, it uses MD5 algorithm to solve problem that get seized unlawful living body information from outside and information does Digest. And did to pass through process that transmit again this by RSA method. Also, experimented general text data and living body data that is not encoded, transmission speed and security of living body data that encoding and transmit each comparison. By running user authentication through such improved method, is expected to be applied in several. fields by method to simplify certification procedure and is little more correct and stable.

  • Today, various access security technology appeared in this society as a result of the informatization and automation. Most building, floor, or door security certification system for the office units are installed, but there are many inconvenient matters. In order to minimises this, we used the face recognition function via the camera, and various sensors. In this paper, I designed the access security system through physical computing which Arduino offered, facial recognition program, and Twitter. Check that the personal information stored in the individual RFID tag is matched to the personal information stored on the existing server. Face recognition program input the face using a camera, and allow to confirm the identity. The system's abnormal or when the unauthenticated person is to penetrate, the system transmits the Twitter status message to the manager. It was designed continuously to monitor the status in real time in this way.

  • We proposed the optical system using two divided halftone images to hide the original image and a joint transform correlator. The encryption procedure is performed by the Fourier transform of the product of each divided image by visual cryptography and the same random image which is generated by computer processing. As a result, we can obtain two Fourier divided images which are used as the encrypted image and the decrypting key, respectively. In the decryption procedure, both the encrypted image and the decrypting key are located on the joint input plane. Then the original image is reconstructed on a CCD camera which is located in the output plane. An autocorrelation term of joint transform correlator contributes to decrypt the original image. To demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed system, computer simulations and noise analysis are performed. The result show that the proposed system is a very useful optical certification system.

  • Course guidance is a mentoring process which is performed before students register for coming classes. The course guidance plays a very important role to students in checking degree audits of students and mentoring classes which will be taken in coming semester. Also, it is intimately involved with a graduation assessment or a completion of ABEEK certification. Currently, course guidance is manually performed by some advisers at most of universities in Korea because they have no electronic systems for the course guidance. By the lack of the systems, the advisers should analyze each degree audit of students and curriculum information of their own departments. This process often causes the human error during the course guidance process due to the complexity of the process. The electronic system thus is essential to avoid the human error for the course guidance. If the relation data model-based system is applied to the mentoring process, then the problems in manual way can be solved. However, the relational data model-based systems have some limitations. Curriculums of a department and certification systems can be changed depending on a new policy of a university or surrounding environments. If the curriculums and the systems are changed, a scheme of the existing system should be changed in accordance with the variations. It is also not sufficient to provide semantic search due to the difficulty of extracting semantic relationships between subjects. In this paper, we model a course mentoring ontology based on the analysis of a curriculum of computer science department, a structure of degree audit, and ABEEK certification. Ontology-based course guidance system is also proposed to overcome the limitation of the existing methods and to provide the effectiveness of course mentoring process for both of advisors and students. In the proposed system, all data of the system consists of ontology instances. To create ontology instances, ontology population module is developed by using JENA framework which is for building semantic web and linked data applications. In the ontology population module, the mapping rules to connect parts of degree audit to certain parts of course mentoring ontology are designed. All ontology instances are generated based on degree audits of students who participate in course mentoring test. The generated instances are saved to JENA TDB as a triple repository after an inference process using JENA inference engine. A user interface for course guidance is implemented by using Java and JENA framework. Once a advisor or a student input student's information such as student name and student number at an information request form in user interface, the proposed system provides mentoring results based on a degree audit of current student and rules to check scores for each part of a curriculum such as special cultural subject, major subject, and MSC subject containing math and basic science. Recall and precision are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed system. The recall is used to check that the proposed system retrieves all relevant subjects. The precision is used to check whether the retrieved subjects are relevant to the mentoring results. An officer of computer science department attends the verification on the results derived from the proposed system. Experimental results using real data of the participating students show that the proposed course guidance system based on course mentoring ontology provides correct course mentoring results to students at all times. Advisors can also reduce their time cost to analyze a degree audit of corresponding student and to calculate each score for the each part. As a result, the proposed system based on ontology techniques solves the difficulty of mentoring methods in manual way and the proposed system derive correct mentoring results as human conduct.

  • Climate change brought on by global warming increased the frequency of flood and drought on the Korean Peninsula, along with the casualties and physical damage resulting therefrom. Preparation and response to these water disasters requires national-level planning for water resource management. In addition, watershed-level management of water resources requires flow duration curves (FDC) derived from continuous data based on long-term observations. Traditionally, in water resource studies, physical rainfall-runoff models are widely used to generate duration curves. However, a number of recent studies explored the use of data-based deep learning techniques for runoff prediction. Physical models produce hydraulically and hydrologically reliable results. However, these models require a high level of understanding and may also take longer to operate. On the other hand, data-based deep-learning techniques offer the benefit if less input data requirement and shorter operation time. However, the relationship between input and output data is processed in a black box, making it impossible to consider hydraulic and hydrological characteristics. This study chose one from each category. For the physical model, this study calculated long-term data without missing data using parameter calibration of the Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT), a physical model tested for its applicability in Korea and other countries. The data was used as training data for the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) data-based deep learning technique. An anlysis of the time-series data fond that, during the calibration period (2017-18), the Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) and the determinanation coefficient for fit comparison were high at 0.04 and 0.03, respectively, indicating that the SWAT results are superior to the LSTM results. In addition, the annual time-series data from the models were sorted in the descending order, and the resulting flow duration curves were compared with the duration curves based on the observed flow, and the NSE for the SWAT and the LSTM models were 0.95 and 0.91, respectively, and the determination coefficients were 0.96 and 0.92, respectively. The findings indicate that both models yield good performance. Even though the LSTM requires improved simulation accuracy in the low flow sections, the LSTM appears to be widely applicable to calculating flow duration curves for large basins that require longer time for model development and operation due to vast data input, and non-measured basins with insufficient input data.

  • We established a top-down methodology to estimate carbon footprint as national mean value (reference) with the statistical data on agri-livestock incomes in 2007. We also established LCI (life cycle inventory) DB by a bottom-up methodology with the data obtained from interview with farmers from 4 large-scale farms at Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do province to estimate carbon footprint in 2011. This study was carried out to compare top-down methodology and bottom-up methodology in performing LCA (life cycle assessment) to analyze the difference in GHGs (greenhouse gases) emission and carbon footprint under conventional rice cultivation system. Results of LCI analysis showed that most of $CO_2$ was emitted during fertilizer production and rice cultivation, whereas $CH_4$ and $N_2O$ were mostly emitted during rice cultivation. The carbon footprints on conventional rice production system were 2.39E+00 kg $CO_2$-eq. $kg^{-1}$ by top-down methodology, whereas 1.04E+00 kg $CO_2$-eq. $kg^{-1}$ by bottom-up methodology. The amount of agro-materials input during the entire rice cultivation for the two methodologies was similar. The amount of agro-materials input for the bottom-up methodology was sometimes greater than that for top-down methodology. While carbon footprint by the bottom-up methodology was smaller than that by the top-down methodology due to higher yield per cropping season by the bottom-up methodology. Under the conventional rice production system, fertilizer production showed the highest contribution to the environmental impacts on most categories except GWP (global warming potential) category. Rice cultivation was the highest contribution to the environmental impacts on GWP category under the conventional rice production system. The main factors of carbon footprints under the conventional rice production system were $CH_4$ emission from rice paddy field, the amount of fertilizer input and rice yield. Results of this study will be used for establishing baseline data for estimating carbon footprint from 'low carbon certification pilot project' as well as for developing farming methods of reducing $CO_2$ emission from rice paddy fields.

  • Structural analysis is used not only for large enterprises, but also for small and medium sized ones, as a necessary procedure for strengthening the certification process for product delivery and shortening the time in the process from concept design to detailed design. Open-source solvers that can be used atlow cost differ from commercial solvers. If there is a problem with the input data, such as with the grid, errors or failures can occur in the calculation step. In this paper, we propose a pre- and post-processor that can be easily applied to the analysis of mechanical structural problems by using the existing structural analysis open source solver (Caculix, Code_Aster). In particular, we propose algorithms for analyzing different types of data using open source solvers in order to extract and generate accurate information, such as 3D models, grids and simulation conditions, and develop and apply information analysis. In addition, to improve the accuracy of open source solvers and to prevent errors, we created a grid that matches the solver characteristics and developed an automatic healing function for the grid model. Finally, to verify the accuracy of the system, the verification and utilization results are compared with the software used.

  • Owing to the complexity and modernization of weapon systems, the role of the defense industry in producing military companies has become increasingly important. In the past defense industries, price competitiveness is a key factor in product choice. On the other hand, product quality is becoming increasingly important compared to price competitiveness. In particular, improving the quality efficiency of small and medium defense suppliers is a necessary part of realizing completed weapon systems, and measures are required to evaluate the quality efficiency of small and medium defense suppliers objectively. This study measured the efficiency of quality using DEA, which is one of the decision methodologies. To use DEA, the number of employees (QA Team) and the number of improvement requirements (Through the activity of onsite quality-support team in aeronautical system center) were set as the input variables. In addition, the output variables were based on sales and the number of certification acquisitions (QMS). To analyze the quality efficiency of small and medium defense suppliers in the aeronautical field, both CCR and BCC models were analyzed, and the scale efficiency values were derived. Strategic development plans for small and medium defense suppliers can be guided using the research results.

  • In this paper, we propose the development of high resolution $360^{\circ}$ omnidirectional IP camera with 12 million pixels. The proposed 12-megapixel high-resolution $360^{\circ}$ omnidirectional IP camera consists of a lens unit with $360^{\circ}$ omnidirectional viewing angle and a 12-megapixel high-resolution IP camera unit. The lens section of $360^{\circ}$ omnidirectional viewing angle adopts the isochronous lens design method and the catadioptric facet production method to obtain the image without peripheral distortion which is inevitably generated in the fisheye lens. The 12 megapixel high-resolution IP camera unit consists of a CMOS sensor & ISP unit, a DSP unit, and an I / O unit, and converts the image input to the camera into a digital image to perform image distortion correction, image correction and image compression And then transmits it to the NVR (Network Video Recorder). In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed 12-megapixel high-resolution $360^{\circ}$ omnidirectional IP camera, 12.3 million pixel image efficiency, $360^{\circ}$ omnidirectional lens angle of view, and electromagnetic certification standard were measured.
