This paper proposes a three-axis coupling controller designed to improve the contouring accuracy in machining of 3D nonlinear contours. The proposed coupling controller is based on an innovative 3D contour error model and a PID control law. The novel contour error model provides almost exact calculation of contour errors in real-time for arbitrary contours and can be integrated with any type of existing interpolator. In the proposed method, three axes of motion are coordinated by the proposed coupling controller along with a proportional controller for each axis. The proposed contour error model and coupling controller are evaluated through computer simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed 3-axis coupling controller with the new contour error model substantially can improve the contouring accuracy by order of magnitude compared with the existing uncoupled controllers in high-speed machining of nonlinear contours.

In rural settlement planning, its spatial development framework should be constructed on the basis of the hierachial settlement system. However, up to now, there does not exist widely - accepted model on rural settlement hierachy. In this study the basic planning principles and directions on the modelling of the settlement hireachy in rural areas have been consolidated through theoretical study and situational analysis on planning environments. And also, a new yardstick on the grading of the middle - level centers between villages and rural towns has been tried to find out. The research resulted that the existance of periodical rural market might be used as a simple and innovative yardstick on the hierachial ordering of rural settlement system. Based on the above results, an alternative 4 - step model of rural settlement hierachy was proposed ; Rural Town(county hall sitted) -Market Center(having standard periodical market) - Village Center(having no market) - Village. Finally, because the conclusion has been made by very limited case studies and several previous works, there should need continuous studies and checks in future for full reasoning of the proposed model.

Despite the vast potential opportunities of RFID technology in various industrial applications, deployment of RFID applications is rather limited to meet a large industrial demand in Korea. We conducted in-depth case study to organize the RFID applications in business model framework in order to provide practical insights for the development of innovative RFID applications. Throughout extensive searching for RFID applications in literature, web, news, and policy reports, we first classified passive RFID applications, mobile RFID applications, and active RFID applications. Value creation and implementation issues are compared and analyzed for each of RFID applications using Afuah and Tucci business model. This study can contribute in establishing future development of RFID technology, competitive business strategy, and government policy to stimulate Korea RFID industry.

Variable displacement vane-type oil pumps represent one of the most innovative pump types for industrial applications, especially for engine lubrication systems. This paper presents a complete and accurate mathematical model for a typical variable displacement vane-type oil pump. Firstly, its theoretical model is revised. Secondly, an analysis of power loss factors of this pump type is carefully investigated to optimize the modeling accuracy. Finally, the estimated pump performance using the complete pump model is verified by numerical simulations in comparison with the practical tests.

The main purpose of this study is to suggest the new strategic management model for the future successful company. The new model consists of the following structure. First, to identify the object dimension. The upper object is to satisfy the customers needs. And the lower object is to satisfy the workers needs. Second, to identify the external enviromental problems dimensions. There are five dimensions. They are ethical responsinilities, government-business alliances, collaboration amongst competitors, innovative invester-company relations, and globalization of enterprise. Third, to identify the internal enviromental problems dimensions. There are two dimensions. They are new organizational forms and integrated subcultures. Fourth, to find the solution for the above dimensions. The solution is as follow. All the managers and workers must have business reengineering minds and apply the complexity management. And the company should construct the strategic information systems.

In this research, we have developed a model that can explain the potential customer's needs for the potable Internet service, a concept with 'QoS guaranteed lower-price high speed mobile Internet service. Based on the developed model, we have also derived some empirical implications for the business firms interest in the potable Internet market. The developed model is incorporating a survey result, answering of potential customer's attitude for the portable Internet service, from the subscribers to the Internet service, wireless LAN service, and mobile Internet service. As a result, we have found that a very innovative group, such as wireless LAN users and 20's age group using mobile Internet service, could be the most attractive market segment. Moreover, the aspects of the service coverage and the price competitiveness at the service launching stage could be the most critical success factors for the portable Internet service.

Information sharing is the main purpose of realizing interoperability between the application domains of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). This paper presents and describes the workflow of BIM-GIS interoperability for highway traffic information sharing. An innovative and automatic Dynamo process was presented to transfer the shapes and attributes of the shapefile from GIS to BIM. On the basis of the transformed BIM model, the detailed traffic data was added and expressed in the form of families and sheets to expand traffic information. Then, the shapes of the model were swept as solid geometries in the BIM environment applying Dynamo. The expanded BIM model was transferred back to the GIS system using the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) scheme. The mutual communication between BIM and GIS was achieved based on Dynamo and IFC. This paper provides a convenient and feasible way to realize BIM-GIS interoperability for highway traffic information sharing according to the characteristics of highways in terms of graphic expression and model creation.

In the midst of dynamic industrial changes, companies need data analysis considering the effects of integration of various technologies in order to establish innovative R & D strategies. However, the existing technology forecasting model evaluates individual technologies without considering relationship among them. To improve this problem, this study suggests a new methodology reflecting the integration of technologies. In the study, a technology forecasting indicator was developed using the technology integration index based on social network analysis. In order to verify the validity of the proposed methodology, 'drone task performance technology' based on patent data was applied to the research model. This study aimed to establish a theoretical basis to design a research model that reflects the degree of integration of technologies when conducting technology forecasting research. In addition, this study is meaningful in that it quantitatively verified the proposed methodology using actual patent data.

본 연구는 기술혁신형 중소기업의 기술경영성과와 기업경영성과 창출에 기여하는 핵심 영향요인을 규명하기 위해 자원기반관점에서 혁신역량과 기술적 기업가정신의 결정요인들을 활용하여 영향관계를 검증하였다. 다차원적 요인들에 의해 영향을 받는 기술혁신의 복합적 특성을 고려하여, 혁신프로세스 관점에서 기업특수자원인 혁신역량을 투입물로, 기술경영성과를 산출물로, 그리고 기업경영성과를 결과물로 인식하여 연구모형을 설정하였다. 서울과 경기지역의 제조업 중심의 360개 이노비즈 인증기업을 대상으로 실시된 설문응답을 실증분석한 결과, 기술가치평가의 정성적 지표를 개량하여 기술경영성과의 결정요인으로 적용한 기술우수성, 시장성장성, 사업수익성은 기업경영성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 혁신역량의 결정요인인 연구개발능력, 전략계획능력, 학습능력과 기술적 기업가정신의 결정요인인 혁신성, 진취성은 기술경영성과와 기업경영성과에 유의한 정(+)의 관계를 보였다. 즉, 높은 수준의 혁신역량과 기업가정신은 기술경영성과를 증대시키며, 궁극적으로 기업경영성과를 실현하는데 영향을 미치는 개념적 영향관계와 기술혁신의 촉진요인으로서 기술적 기업가정신의 역할과 중요성을 규명하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 최근 중요성이 부각되는 기술집약적 기업의 기술경영에 대한 성과평가 기준을 수립할 시, 기술혁신의 복합적 특성을 반영하지 못하는 재무적 성과보다는 자원과 역량의 조합을 통해 구현된 기술경영성과에 대한 주기적 평가를 실시해야 함을 설명한다. 이는 기술경영성과는 자원의 한계성과 좁은 혁신의 범위로 특징되어지는 기술혁신형 중소기업이 향후 추진할 새로운 기술혁신에 재투입될 수 있도록 기술혁신에 대한 지속적이고 일관된 투자를 실시함을 시사한다. 또한 본 연구는 정책연구에서 개념적으로 적용되어온 기술적 기업가정신에 대한 실증분석을 통해 그 역할을 규명한 의의를 갖고 있다.

본 연구는 항만혁신클러스터의 성공을 위한 평가요소를 분석하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 항만혁신클러스터 성공을 위한 평가항목을 정책, 자원, 운영 등 3가지로 구분하였다. 그리고 3항목은 다시 12개의 요소로 세분화하였다. 뉴럴네트웍에 의한 훈련 및 검증을 위해 전체 30개의 설문자료를 훈련용과 검증용으로 각각 15부씩 구분하고, 구분된 자료를 이용하여 훈련 및 검증하였다. 코호넨 네트웍에 의해 수행한 결과 예측의 정확성은 $73.33\%$로 나타났다. 평가항목 및 세부요소의 중요도는 코호넨 네트웍에 의해 산출되었다. 그 결과 항만혁신 클러스터의 성공을 예측한 그룹의 경우에는 자원항목이 다른 항목에 비해 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다.
