In this paper, we deal with an effective dynamic bandwidth allocation(DBA) scheme in order to support the qualify of services (QoS) in the customer access network which supports various applications with own service requirements. we discuss the DBA scheme for upstream traffic in the EPON which support both the delay sensitive traffic such as voice and real-time video and non-real time traffic such as data and BE. We propose the new DBA scheme which guarantee the delay performance of the real time traffic and utilize the upstream bandwidth effectively in the limited resource environment. We analize the delay performance of the proposed scheme by simulation.

Multimedia synchronization model for distributed, continuous or discrete media that was guaranteed high quality of service is requited in developing multimedia application software. In this paper we have specific object controller which is called dynamic key media that is changed by user event generation. This becomes media whose event occurrence and periods can't be predicted. For event occurrence not only audio but also text and image can be chosen for key media and performs its role. Object controller transfers information for next transition. The proposed model offers high qualify of services by permitting maximum allowed jitter and skew in playout time and verified its effectiveness by simulation.

To provide Internet QoS, the IETF Proposed two models of Integrated Services (IntServ) and Differentiated Services (DiffServ) Unlike IntServ where resource reservation and admission control is Per-flow based using RSVP. DiffServ supports aggregated traffic classes to provide various QoS to different classes of traffics. However a dynamic QoS management system is required to dynamically provide differentiated QoS for customers who require dynamic QoS change. This paper designed and implemented therefore a policy-based QoS management system to manage effectively and configure dynamically QoS of DiffServ networks. The validity of the system has been verified by the experimentation on the Linux-based DiffServ network.

Multiple sequence alignment(MSA) is a fundamental technique of DNA and Protein sequence analysis. Biological sequences are aligned vertically in order to show the similarities and differences among them. In this Paper, we Propose an effcient group alignment method, which is based on clustering divergency, to Perform the alignment between two groups of sequences. The Proposed algorithm is a clustering divergence(CDMS)-based multiple sequence alignment and a top-down approach. The algorithm builds the tree topology for merging. It is so based on the concept that two sequences having the longest distance should be spilt into two clusters. We expect that our sequence alignment algorithm improves its qualify and speeds up better than traditional algorithm Clustal-W.

A network of Packet based switch Mode will be required to carry the traffics(CVR,VBR, UBR, ABR) generated by a wide range of services. Packet based Network services the Qualify-of-Service (QoS) management of traffic sources and bandwidth. Besides efficiency and throughput services are achieved in the multimedia traffic sent in the network. In this paper, the scheduler transmits the safe packet, drop the unsafe packet and evaluate unsafe Packet as the requirement of the delay avoiding the network congestion for improving the QoS of the multimedia network. In this paper, we Propose the scheduling algorithm which evaluates and drops the packet The suggested model Performance of the switch is estimated and simulated in terms of the delay by computer.

In this paper, picture set filter is proposed for preserving compression ratio and video qualify. This filter controls the compression ratio of each frame depending on the correlation to the reference frame by selectively eliminating less important high-resolution areas. Consequently, video quality can be preserved and bit rate can be controlled adaptively. In the simulation, to test the performance of the proposed coding method, comparisons with the full search block matching algorithm and the differential image coding algorithm are made. In the former case, video quality, compression ratio and encoding time is improved. In the latter case, video quality is degraded, but compression ratio and encoding time is improved. Consequently. the proposed method shows a reasonably good performance over existing ones.

As the budget size and complexity of 1T investment are growing, IT value measurement becomes more critical to the success of IT management In public organizations and private firms. It has been known that there are many factors such as IT costs, risks, qualify, and usage that should be taken Into consideration during the process of measuring IT value and making IT Investment decisions. However, little research has been done so far In order to analysis factors affecting the IT value and effectiveness. The purpose of this study Is to Investigate the impact of IT Project types and ownerships on IT value evaluation. The three research questions are as follows : (1) Does IT project type such as transactional, Informational, and infrastructure have any impact on 1T value measurement\ulcorner (2) Does the IT development ownership has any Impact on IT value\ulcorner (3) Does the IT operation ownership has any impact\ulcorner The empirical research was done at S-Electronics, world-wide known and the biggest manufacturing company in Korea, based on the method of structured interview. About 200 individual Information systems have been evaluated to calculate ROI measures, the dependent variable In this study. The results of statistical analysis show that two of three Independent variables, IT project types and IT development ownership, have statistically significant effects on IT value in terms of ROI measures.

ISO 9000 is an efficient quality system for the customer's confidence and satisfaction. Of late years, the revised edition of ISO 9000 duality management system may give lots of positive business values to companies running ISO 9000 system Despite its tremendous popularity, there is some critisism against the effect and performance or ISO 9000 certification. This research explores the performances and effects of ISO 9000 quality system in small & medium size industrial companies. For this research, 202 companies certified by ISO 9000 standard and 67 companies not certified as contrast group were selected. The related data were collected by web-Poll survey. The major analyses are focused on the effect and performance or the ISO 9000 certification. and we established various hypotheses to verify the effect and performance or quality system. Results or statistical analyses show that total performance or qualify system is significantly different between certified companies and not certified.

A new multiple description selective coding is proposed to overcome noisy channels. Our algorithm adopts an embedded coding scheme, in which subband coefficients are encoded one bit plane at a time using a non-adaptive arithmetic encoder. According to the importance ratio for each region, we code interest regions with more passes than background in order to reconstruct interest regions with higher quality. To overcome channel errors, we adopt multiple description scheme which adds controlled amounts of redundancy to the original data during the compression process. Proposed algorithm achieves better qualify compared with other algorithms especially in the circumstances where very low bit rate coding is required and some regions are more important than other regions.

In this paper, we proposed a mobile ad hoc routing protocol based on AODV(Ad hoc On demand Distance Vector) with QoS(Quality of Service) support and evaluated the performance through simulation. The waste of communication resources is reduced by establishing the shortest route suitable to QoS support, considering in advance the usable communication resources at each node. For performance evaluation, we analyzed the average data reception rate, considering the node mobility and the number of best effort/QoS data flows. We found that in the mobile Ad Hoc networks the QoS service for some specific data flows increased the average data reception rate for the QoS data flows.
