  • Recently, in the adoption of cloud computing are emerging as locations are key requirements of security and privacy, at home and abroad, several organizations recognize the importance of privacy in cloud computing environments and research-based transcription and systematic approach in progress have. The purpose of this study was to recognize the importance of privacy in the cloud computing environment based on personal information security methodology to the security of cloud computing, cloud computing, users must be verified, empirical research on the improvement plan. Therefore, for existing users of enhanced security in cloud computing security consisted framework of existing cloud computing environments. Personal information protection management system: This is important to strengthen security for existing users of cloud computing security through a variety of personal information security methodology and lead to positive word-of-mouth to create and foster the cloud industry ubiquitous expression, working environments.

  • The recent development of the Internet of things (IoT) has led to the introduction of new access control measures. Even during the access control for security, however, there might be privacy infringements due to unwanted information provision and collection. Measures to control this process are therefore required. This paper defines the structure and policies of tokens to protect privacy that can be exposed through the token information when you use the capability token in the IoT service system.

  • With the advent of BCI technology in recent years, various BCI products have been released. BCI technology enables brain information to be transmitted directly to a computer, and it will bring a lot of convenience to life. However, there is a problem with information protection. In particular, EEG data can raise issues about personal privacy. Collecting and analyzing big data on EEG reports raises serious concerns about personal information exposure. In this paper, we propose a secure privacy-preserving BCI model in a big data environment. The proposed model could prevent personal identification and protect EEG data in the cloud environment.

  • In modern society, user privacy is emerging as an important issue as closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems increase rapidly in various public and private spaces. If CCTV cameras monitor sensitive areas or personal spaces, they can infringe on personal privacy. Someone's behavior patterns, sensitive information, residence, etc. can be exposed, and if the image data collected from CCTV is not properly protected, there can be a risk of data leakage by hackers or illegal accessors. This paper presents an innovative approach to "machine learning based reversible chaotic masking method for user privacy protection in CCTV environment." The proposed method was developed to protect an individual's identity within CCTV images while maintaining the usefulness of the data for surveillance and analysis purposes. This method utilizes a two-step process for user privacy. First, machine learning models are trained to accurately detect and locate human subjects within the CCTV frame. This model is designed to identify individuals accurately and robustly by leveraging state-of-the-art object detection techniques. When an individual is detected, reversible chaos masking technology is applied. This masking technique uses chaos maps to create complex patterns to hide individual facial features and identifiable characteristics. Above all, the generated mask can be reversibly applied and removed, allowing authorized users to access the original unmasking image.

  • To promote recommendation services through prediction quality, some privacy-preserving collaborative filtering solutions are proposed to make e-commerce parties collaborate on partitioned data. It is almost probable that two parties hold ratings for the same users and items simultaneously; however, existing two-party privacy-preserving collaborative filtering solutions do not cover such overlaps. Since rating values and rated items are confidential, overlapping ratings make privacy-preservation more challenging. This study examines how to estimate predictions privately based on partitioned data with overlapped entries between two e-commerce companies. We consider both user-based and item-based collaborative filtering approaches and propose novel privacy-preserving collaborative filtering schemes in this sense. We also evaluate our schemes using real movie dataset, and the empirical outcomes show that the parties can promote collaborative services using our schemes.

  • Smart speakers represent a growing product in home electronics. However, their capability to record voices in their immediate surroundings has spurred concerns about privacy violations. In this paper, we assess the extent of those concerns in the opinions of smart speaker users by examining the reviews posted by smart speaker users. We focus on South Korea as a representative of advanced Asian economies. The results show that Korean smart speaker users are either unconcerned or unaware of privacy issues, confirming the results of previous studies about UK users, but with an even lower degree of interest in the topic. However, for the few users concerned about privacy, their attitude towards privacy influences their overall opinion about smart speakers.

  • We examined the effects of socio-demographics and personality traits on online privacy concern. We investigated this relationship in general and across different Internet functions. Using a large, diverse, population-representative sample (N = 5,242), we found that females, educated, and wealthier individuals tend to be concerned with online privacy to a greater extent. Among personality traits, agreeableness and conscientiousness were generally associated with an increased probability of being concerned with online privacy. These results imply that socio-demographics and personality traits provide explanatory insights into online privacy concern.

  • RFID is a widely adopted in the field of identification technology these days. Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) has wide applications in many areas including manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation. Because limited resource RFID tags are used, various risks could threaten their abilities to provide essential services to users. A number of RFID protocols have done by researcher in order to protect against some malicious attacks and threat. Existing RFID protocols are able to resolve a number of security and privacy issues, but still unable to overcome other security & privacy related issues. In this paper, we analyses security schemes and vulnerability in RFID application. Considering this RFID security issues, we survey the security threats and open problems related to issues by means of information security and privacy. Neither a symmetric nor an asymmetric cryptographic deployment is necessarily used with light weighted algorithm in the future.

  • In ubiquitous environment, private enterprise or public institution's privacy data are sometimes exposed to hackers because of the lack of the sense of information security. We apply secret sharing scheme to solve the privacy problems. But, the existing secret sharing scheme are not suitable for the management of large a quantity of data because that required operation of large capacity. In this paper, We propose new secret sharing scheme for privacy data management. Our scheme makes high-speed operation possible, and it also allows for set weight for each secret pieces depending on weight of participants. The scheme proposed in this paper makes it efficient to collect and manage secure privacy data in ubiquitous environment.
