  • With the development of many methods of studying the brain, the field of neuroscience has generated large amounts of information obtained from various techniques: imaging techniques, electrophysiological techniques, techniques for analyzing brain connectivity, techniques for getting molecular information of the brain, etc. A plenty of neuroinformatics databases have been made for storing and sharing this useful information and those databases can be publicly accessed by researchers as needed. However, since there are too many neuroinformatics databases, it is difficult to find the appropriate database depending on the needs of researcher. Moreover, many researchers in neuroscience fields are unfamiliar with using neuroinformatics databases for their studies because data is too diverse for neuroscientists to handle this and there is little precedent for using neuroinformatics databases for their research. Therefore, in this article, we review databases in the field of neuroscience according to both their methods for obtaining data and their objectives to help researchers to use databases properly. We also introduce major neuroinformatics databases for each type of information. In addition, to show examples of novel uses of neuroinformatics databases, we represent several studies that combine neuroinformatics databases of different information types and discover new findings. Finally, we conclude our paper with the discussion of potential applications of neuroinformatics databases.

  • Prepurchase decision making process was investigated for the female high school students grouped by fashion leadership. Differences in the fashion leadership were also investigated among the groups determined by demographic characteristics. Data were obtained from 600 female students attending at 4 different high schools in Seoul by self-administered questionnaires, and 430 were used for the data analysis. Respondents were divided into 5 groups by fashion leadership: innovators(6.3%), early adopters(29.8%) , early majority(43.7%) , late majority(16.9%) , laggards(3.3%) , The groups with higher monthly allowances and monthly clothing expenditures showed higher fashion leadership. At the problem recognition stage, students with higher fashion leadership felt buying needs more often than those with lower fashion leadership. At the information search stage, students with higher fashion leadership tended to use higher number of information sources and mass media, visited stores more often, spent more time and collected new information more often, and tended to show higher satisfaction levels with searched information than students with lower fashion leadership. Leaders tended to search information at bonded goods stores and small shops in the area, and laggards prefered to visit small stores in the market. At the alternative evaluation stage, students with higher fashion leadership reported to use higher number of evaluative criteria and consider brand name, acknowledgment of others, becomingness with wardrobe as important criteria for evaluating apparel products; those with lower fashion leadership thought utility, comfort, size, sewing quality an6 fit as key criteria.

  • This study aims to examine whether an increased disclosure has a positive impact on firm performance and whether the opposite impact of increased disclosure on firm performance can occur in certain conditions - high proprietary information and competition. The sample for this study consists of Indonesian firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data were selected based on purposive sampling and panel data spanned eleven years (2006-2016). A panel GLS regression using moderated regression analysis (MRA) was adopted. The results of this study reveal that an increased disclosure has a positive effect on firm performance, but an increased disclosure has a negative impact on firm performance when proprietary information is high, and vice versa. Also, if the disclosure is increased, the negative impact of proprietary information on firm performance will get exacerbated in conditions where the competition level is high. The findings of this study suggest that, since the positive effect of continuously-increased disclosure on firm performance leads to the reversal (negative) impact when certain conditions occur (high proprietary information and competition), the level of disclosure quality is most likely to tap an 'optimal' point. In this regard, however, a broader investigation of all firms across countries still needs to be conducted.

  • The amount of information and data in the digital era is increasing tremendously. Continuous online connectivity is generating a massive amount of data that needs to store in computers and be made available as and when required. Cloud computing technology plays a pivotal role in this league. Cloud computing is a term that refers to computer systems, resources and online services that aim to protect and manage data in an effective, more efficient and easy way. Cloud computing is an important standard for maintaining the integrity and security of sensitive data and information for organizations and individuals. Cloud security is one of the most important challenges that the security of the entire cloud system depends on. Thus, the present study reviews the security challenges that exist in cloud computing, including attacks that negatively affect cloud resources. The study also addresses the most serious threats that affect cloud security. We also reviewed several studies, specifically those from 2017-20, that cited effective mechanisms to protect authentication, availability and connection security in the cloud. The present analysis aims to provide solutions to the problems and causes of cloud computing security system violations, which can be used now and developed in the future.

  • Searchable symmetric encryption (SSE) provides a safe and effective solution for retrieving encrypted data on cloud servers. However, the existing SSE schemes mainly focus on single keyword search in single client, which is inefficient for multiple keywords and cannot meet the needs for multiple clients. Considering the above drawbacks, we propose a scheme enabling dynamic multi-client and Boolean query in searchable symmetric encryption for cloud storage system (DMC-SSE). DMC-SSE realizes the fine-grained access control of multi-client in SSE by attribute-based encryption (ABE) and novel access control list (ACL), and supports Boolean query of multiple keywords. In addition, DMC-SSE realizes the full dynamic update of client and file. Compared with the existing multi-client schemes, our scheme has the following advantages: 1) Dynamic. DMC-SSE not only supports the dynamic addition or deletion of multiple clients, but also realizes the dynamic update of files. 2) Non-interactivity. After being authorized, the client can query keywords without the help of the data owner and the data owner can dynamically update client's permissions without requiring the client to stay online. At last, the security analysis and experiments results demonstrate that our scheme is safe and efficient.

  • Since the Three Dimensional Computer Aided Design(3D CAD) appeared in 1990s, Building Information Modeling(BIM) has got the great issue in the construction project nowadays. BIM is the process of managing and generating building information during life cycle of a construction project. And information can be moved to 3D modeling flexibly in BIM. As a result, a field of estimating has also been doing researches in the calculation of the amount of building materials from 3D modeling. And the Construction Cost Estimating Software which is generally used over the world has been trying to be applied to the Construction project in Korea. But, when we consider the productivity, it is less efficient than the existing way in Korea which use the 2D Drawings when they take off the Quantity. Also, there are lots of difference how to estimate the construction cost. between Korea and the others. Because it is a bit hard to apply the software used in the other countries to the construction project in Korea, people couldn't use it well in the construction project actually. In this study, for developing the appropriate construction cost estimating software rooted in 3D in Korea, we suggest 3D CAD Add-on Program for a Quantity Take-off which can move quantitative information to 3D CAD.
