This study is to analyse how trust and asset specificity among partner firms affect on performance of international joint venture(IJV). Especially, the analysis was mainly based on a quadratic model. While it assumes that the previous studies was based on linear model in the relationship between trust, asset specificity and the performance, this study proceeds a empirical analysis by setting up a hypothesis; it would be quadratic relationship between trust, asset specificity and performance which are based on social capital theory and transaction cost theory. The survey was held with 74 manufactures who were established as an IJV by Korean and foreign firms together. In the result of the empirical analysis, trust shows an inverted U-shaped relationship with IJV performance. Also, asset specificity shows the U-shaped relationship with IJV performance. The results suggest that it needs to control and maintain the trust level among the partners in order not to lose an appropriate control caused by too much trust. In order to minimize the cost generated by asset specificity and to transform it into positive impact, it needs a control and the operation of monitoring system on the opportunistic action of the partners. Furthermore, it needs to keep organizational flexibility and innovativeness to continuously develop new capabilities.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to identify a gap between consumer characteristics and utilization of health information on the Internet. Methods: A telephone survey of nationally representative samples was conducted using structured questionnaires, and 1,000 of the 1,189 responses obtained were included in our analysis. The following variables were included in the analysis as potential predictors of health information use on the Internet: predisposing factors such as gender, age, and education status; enabling factors such as region and monthly household income; consumer need for health information; and attitude to health. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the association between utilization rate and the potential predictors. Results: Thirty-nine percent of consumers had obtained health information on the Internet over a one-year period. The utilization rates were higher for consumers who were young, educated, worked in the office setting, had higher incomes, wanted health information, and were able to use the Internet. The utilization rate was 5.35 times higher in the younger group (20-30 years) than in the elderly group (95% CI=2.21-12.97); 2.21 times higher for office workers than for manual workers (95% CI=1.16-4.20); 3.61 times higher for college graduates than for middle school graduates and below (95% CI=1.07-11.59); 1.99 times higher for people with monthly household incomes over 3,000,000 won than for those with monthly household incomes below 1,500,000 won (95% CI=1.01-3.92). Conclusions: There needs to be a paradigm shift, with consideration of not only Internet accessibility in the digital age, but also consumer ability and attitudes toward utilization of health information.

The purpose of this study was intended to provide baseline data to develop child health education for multicultural mothers. Participants were 30 multicultural mothers in B city multicultural family support centers and 20 persons in charge of child healthcare in B city. From Dec 2016 to Jan 2017 a self-report instrument was used to measure general characteristics, status, importance, implementation, and needs of child healthcare education. The data were analyzed through frequencies, Chi-squared test, and analysis of variance using the SPSS 20.0 program. Fifty-seven percent of transcultural mothers had not participated in child healthcare education before. There was no significant difference between importance and implementation of child healthcare education. In Borich analysis, "Safety accident prevention", "Toilet training", and "Growth and development" were in the 25th percentile. In Locus for Focus, "Safety accident prevention", "Bathing", "Baby massage", "Toilet training", and "Weaning food" were in the HH area. In comparison with importance of child healthcare education, multicultural mothers, and persons in charge of child healthcare, multicultural mothers had significantly higher scores than persons in charge of child healthcare. Therefore, in order to meet multicultural mothers' educational needs for child healthcare education, child healthcare information should be developed.

Purpose: This study presents the analysis on space usage of delivery departments in regional public hospitals. The results intention is to achieve improvement of the delivery environment for the mothers and newborns regarding exposure prevention and efficient infection control. The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for architectural plans and guidelines for the delivery department. Method: The investigation and analysis were based on research papers, legal systems, public medical statistical data, and the architectural floor plan drawing. For research, 20 regional public hospitals with an operating delivery room were excluded. Regarding data accessibility, 15 regional public hospitals were selected. Results: To overcome the increased vulnerability of the delivery department, the research results of basic data is provided for the establishment to address urgent needs and rapid response. Thus, the research results are as follows: Firstly, the delivery department needs to respond promptly according to the type of patients. For example, in a case of emergency surgery, a connected circulation plan with the related departments is needed. Secondly, for the environment of the delivery area, alleviating anxiety is imperative for pregnant patients and guardians, labor, childbirth, and recovery. Therefore, these needs must be addressed for treatment space and circulation. Lastly, the delivery department is classified into three areas for analysis: access area, treatment area, and support area. In most of the delivery departments of the 15 selected hospitals, there is no space for the access and support area except for the labor and delivery rooms in the treatment area. For the access area, a waiting area, changing room for pregnant women and guardians, and a storage space for contaminated linens are required for infection prevention, safety, and efficiency. For the treatment area, childbirth processes and circulation should have space reserved for labor, delivery, recovery, examination, and treatment. In preparation for an emergency during childbirth, emergency response measures and supporting space needs to be established. For the support area, circulation and rooms are to be designed for medical staff support, activity space, storage and transportation of equipment, and urgent medical treatment. Implications: Along with the low fertility rate and the decrease of medical institutions that operate delivery departments, for the purpose of establishing a public medical service system and a healthy medical environment for mothers and newborns, the researched information demonstrates basic data on space plan of delivery departments in regional public hospitals.

This study intends to develop web-based information literacy program, analyze learning effects and to suggest a model case to those who wants to develop a web-based information literacy program in the future. For this purpose, we analyze undergraduate students' needs, design and develop a web-based information literacy program, and analyze the practical effects of the web-based information literacy program. As a result of research, we found out that both web-based and face-to-face information literacy program are similarly effective in learning and satisfactory to students.

Library & Information Science in Korea has developed its curriculum corresponding to the rapidly changing social needs. Upon the arrival of information society, a series of structural adjustments were implemented including renaming the department, underpinning the sector of Information Science and Information Service. and opening new courses such as Archives and Records Management. Also, the overall course design has been fully modified in line with the newly adopted mechanism of major selection in the undergraduate academic program. This paper aims to explore the influence of the structural shifts in our society on the sector development of the Library & Information Science by an extensive comparative analysis on the variation of academic curricula before and after the new major selection system and the emergence of information society.

Part-time instructors are contributing to the production of excellent human resources through education and research, strengthening research competitiveness, and national and social knowledge and academic development. Therefore, academic and research information services for part-time instructors are essential for their educational and research activities. In this study, researcher suggested various methods for providing efficient educational and academic information services by surveying and analyzing their information environment, information needs, and educational and academic information recognition and usage behavior by applying the survey method to part-time instructors.

The purpose of this study is to analyze inquiry tasks of textbooks in middle schools social studies under the information literacy process and find out teacher librarians' educational information service on the side of information literacy education. Results of the analysis show that middle school students who carry out the inquiry tasks of social studies should select sources, seek its' related information and create their products through writing reports or presentation. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills", the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce social studies teachers' burden of class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of suitable materials seeking strategies for solving their task, understanding and synthesizing the information and evaluating their process and result. Therefore, it is necessary to activate collaborative teaching between the teacher librarian and the social studies teacher based on the information literacy.

This study suggests an effective online guide for foreign teachers who want to teach English in Korean schools. When designing this guide for overseas applicants, there should be a consistent analysis to reflect the process of the system. Thus, this paper provides an analysis and results for an integrated online guide to increase the efficiency based on the pedagogical framework for analysis of the 'ADDIE' model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The number of job applicants who wish to teach English in Korea is growing rapidly because Korea is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and the 'Korean Wave' has especially been experiencing significant changes with the development of social network services and digital technologies. As a result, overseas applicants' expectations regarding Korea when they are seeking information and applying is very high, but the aspects of the procedure provided by the government are somewhat disappointing. The paper presents customer needs and specific recommendation for each step of the application process to improve the guide's effectiveness.
