Objective : The purpose of this study is to present an analysis model in developing an inclusive response for safety hazards and disaster preventive information system for vulnerable people to the disaster including persons with disabilities, and those with specific needs. Methods : In this study, the persona analysis method is used to analyze fictitious characters that correspond to various characteristics such as age, disability, environment, occupation, etc. in terms of the scenario of some particular disaster subjects. Based on the user's communication problems derived from the persona analysis, focused group interview and ICF based analysis were implemented to identify needs and arbitration methods. Results : The needs from persona analysis and ICF-based communication items analysis identifies the factors that make each fictitious character difficult in terms of communication in obtaining the benefits consistent with the purpose of the service. The study derives service requirements that can provide arbitration or facilitation methods to increase communication ability of the users. Conclusion : Through the persona analysis method, difficulties that could occur when receiving disaster information using communication devices were identified and analyzed in conjunction with communication problems described in the ICF. In building information services for the prevention of safety hazards and disasters, this study presented a model that uses the persona analysis method and the ICF classification system to derive user requirements for accessible information system.

Background: The objective of this study is to investigate the needs and importance of basic core competencies required for future society by dental hygienists' viewpoints who are working in the clinical practices and to provide the fundamental data to develop the educational programs based on the competencies in the 21st century so as to enhance their working capability. Methods: A total of 38 questionnaires were used in this study, 3 questionnaires on the general characteristics (age, service years, main job functions) and those in 11 sub-factors of basic core competencies including 4 questionnaires on creativity, 3 on collaboration, 3 on communication, 3 on interpersonal relationship, 3 on problem-solving, 4 on resource control, 4 on self-control and development, 2 on vocational ethics, 3 on knowledge information utilization, 3 on global mind, and 3 on emotional intelligence. Self-reported survey was conducted in the dental hygienists who were working in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province and a total of 195 data were analyzed. Results: Vocational ethics, communication, and collaboration showed the highest on both importance and needs with 4.49 points and 4.34; 4.41 and 4.28; and 4.39 and 4.22, respectively, while global mind showed the lowest with 3.51 and 3.59. Upon Importance-Performance Analysis, 7 items were defined to require maintain the status including vocational ethics, communication, collaboration, interpersonal relationship, self-control, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving while 4 items with lower priority were resource control and development, knowledge information utilization, creativity, and global mind. Conclusion: Based on this study results that suggested the basic core competencies of dental hygienists in alignment with their jobs in the future society, competitive dental hygienists should be developed with the educational programs applied with these competencies.

The study is aimed to analyze the influence of FTA(Free Trade Agreement) between Korea and Japan on tourism and to suggest ways to increase tourists exchange between them by considering countermeasures of Korea's tourism based on the analysis and deriving political significance. The results of the study showed that the expected effects of FTA between Korea and Japan on tourism would overall be positive. There would be increases in employment and a higher rate of foreign-exchange earning, which plays a critical role in the cash flow. Therefore the government is required to prepare for several political measures as follows. First, ways to promote investment in tourism have to be established in a systematic way for FTA. Second, restructuring of tourism has to be considered seriously for tourism to be a high value-added industry after FTA. Third, the tourism information industry needs to be included in the tourism promotion act to promote e-tourism using information technology. In addition to this, an expansive cluster strategy needs to be developed, which relates tourism to other industries like culture and movies and to find ways to re-locate and re-educate manpower currently engaged in the tourism industry. Though the study investigated the influence of FTA on tourism through a practical analysis, it was restricted only to Korea. So the influence of FTA between Korea and Japan on the tourism of Japan should be included in further study. Furthermore, in subsequent studies the CGE(Computable General Equilibrium) model will be applied for objective analysis of the effects. Or measuring the ripple effect with multinational inter-industry relation table will be made for the study to make practical contributions to the development of government policy.

Purpose: This study derived the planning factors affecting the evacuation route of facilities for the disabled and to identify the planning factors that affect each facility. Method: The PLS(Partial Least Square)Regression analysis was used to solve the problem of multicollinearity and number of samples. Result: As a result of analysis, The most important planning elements for each facility were derived as door: closing time (1.131), corridor: ramp for wheelchairs (1.227), stairs: emergency lighting for stairs (1.117), and evacuation space: evacuation space convenience facilities (1.106). Conclusion: In order to plan an effective evacuation route for the disabled, a universal design should be applied to consider the perception, needs, and satisfaction of the disabled, rather than a comprehensive reflection.

Korea faces challenges in securing technical talent due to low birth rates and an aging population. To bridge labor market gaps, tailored education programs through universities are crucial. Although Program for Industrial needs-Matched Education (PRIME) encouraged developing industrial-university education courses, a few universities have the opportunities and the courses development is often depending on capability of a professor. Furthermore, administrative issues hinder progress. This study proposes streamlining administrative processes and leveraging technology to meet industry demands. Active collaboration between academia and industry can enhance education and benefit both employees and students.

The purpose of this study is to identify strategic insights for cyber universities to secure a competitive advantage based on market analysis grounded in customer needs and motivations. As a research method, we surveyed and analyzed college students using conjoint analysis, identified the importance of cyber university components, estimated the utility of each detailed level, and identified the configuration of cyber universities most preferred by potential customers. In the study results, the importance of attributes that appeared by analyzing all respondents was in the order of 'expected ourcoms after graduation', 'department characteristic', 'cyber university name', and 'learning management style'. Cluster analysis was performed, divided into two groups, and conjoint analysis was performed. For Cluster 1, the importance values of the components were 'expected outcomes after graduation,' 'learning management style,' 'cyber university name,' and 'department characteristics,' in that order. For Cluster 2, the importance values were 'expected outcomes after graduation,' 'department characteristics,' 'cyber university name,' and 'learning management style,' in that order. As an application of the research, As an application of the study, it is suggested that analyzing the preferences of potential customers in the entire group is not accurate; therefore, segmenting the groups for analysis and strategy formulation can be useful.

Schools have focused so far on a student-oriented education. As the roles of schools, however, have been increasingly emphasized in the information society, community-centered functions are now additionally required. Beyond simply allowing communities to utilize selected facilities, schools can conduct re-education programs for community residents and actively use their facilities for such purposes. As explained above, schools must continuously evolve to meet current needs and demands, such as by offering special classes and utilizing learning facilities in the elementary levels to promote learning in ever-changing societies. This study analyzed the functions of school facilities to communities, as well as the educational functions involved in teaching-learning processes, in light of the advent of a knowledge and information society. Through analysis, the types of information facilities in elementary schools were derived. On the basis of such derived types, systematic and reasonable methods to estimate the scope were suggested.

There are a variety of users and devices in a context-aware computing environment. In this environment, the service provided to a user may be the composition of diverse services rather than one independent service. Before user's devices provide the composite service to the user, they should perceive user's needs by gathering related information segments from other surrounding devices and/or sensors. We consider a context-aware computing environment providing composite and adapted service to users and propose an information processing model that characterizes the device where the collected data should be processed through services and/or applications. Based on this model, we provide an analytical tool to obtain some performance measures of the context-aware computing environment.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been considered as valuable aerial reconnaissance systems and our army wants capability-enhanced UAVs installed in our territory, hoping that the UAVs will provide enemy information in detail. The enemy information acqcuired by UAVs would be shared by our army's legacy systems. In this article, we made a research on the interoperability between UAVs and Ground Fighting Vehicles (GFVs), laying emphasis on what kinds of tactical information could be exchanged by two different weapon systems. Also, it needs to be addressed that their upper-level commanding systems play a significant role in such operation.

본 논문은 유비쿼터스 환경의 스마트 기기 개발을 위해 시스템 중심의 개발이 아닌 사용자 형태 정보 중심의 개발 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 목적(Goal) 지향의 사용자 행위를 수집하고 형태를 분석하여 사용자의 요구사항(Needs)를 도출하였다. 그리고 요구사항으로부터 도출된 행위 시나리오를 u-Home 서비스의 가전기기 융합(Convergence)에 적용하였다. 이로써 사용자 행위 중심의 접근 방법이 기존의 시스템 개발 방법보다 다양한 사용자의 사용상황을 고려 할 수 있음을 알았고, 이로 인해 시스템 개발 시 다양한 사용자의 행위와 사용상황을 고려하지 못함으로써 발생하는 개발상의 오류를 줄일 수 있었다.
